About: I grew up with dogs (a cockapoo and morkie) and have always enjoyed caring for friends’ and family members’ pets. On Rover, I’ve had the chance to care for all kinds of dogs and cats through walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. I enjoy getting to know your pet’s personality and learning what makes them happy and comfortable. My goal is to make your time away as easy as possible for you and your pet by keeping their normal routine, giving them the attention they’re used to, and taking good care of their space. I also want you to feel comfortable while you’re away, whether that means sending lots of updates and photos or simply letting you know everything is going well. I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and can easily make time for walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting. About: Hi, I’m Autumn! I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Friends and family have always used me as their go to person that they trust with their animals. I also have a cat of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and understand their different personalities. I know every pet has their own personality and I love getting to know what makes each one unique. I work at a local bakery full time from 7am to 3pm, so I’m regularly available in the afternoons, evenings, and all day Mondays and Tuesdays. With a little advance notice I can often be flexible outside of those hours as well. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can be stressful so my goal is to make the experience as comfortable as possible for the both of you. When you trust me with your pet you can expect lots of photo updates and someone who will truly love and care for them as if they were my own. I also understand the importance of treating every home with the same respect and care that I would expect for mine.

About: I have owned dogs since I was 14. I currently have 2 dogs of my own. I also volunteer with animals and have dog sat for several friends over the years. I love cats but have not babysat any, only loved them at others homes. I currently work full time but mostly from home. Some days I am out in the world but usually for no more than 6 hours at a time. Majority of work hours are Monday - Friday 8-5 Pets have free range at home unless they need to be crated. Have a fenced in backyard and can also walk dogs if preferred. Large neighborhood to walk them around. Also have a responsible teenage daughter who can help with feedings and bathroom breaks. Trash can is in the pantry for little to no access.

About: Hello! My name is Danielle and I've been caring for pets my entire life! I have been raising, training, and pampering my own babies for the past 10 years and providing local services to friends and neighbors. I'm highly experienced with all dog sizes, especially giant breeds (the bigger the better!). I can provide boarding, sitting, training, walking, grooming, specialized feeding, medication administering, and even first-aid if needed. I even have experience with pet hospice care through a local shelter. A little more about me personally: I have 3 dogs, including 2 Great Danes and a Golden Retriever. I also have 3 very demanding cats. So you know I'm well-versed in handling the crazy, and will treat your baby just like my own! Pets are the center of my world and yours will be too. I work from home and can provide round-the-clock care and attention during boarding and daycare. I'm currently working part time and looking for additional pet care opportunities to fill my days, since it's something I truly enjoy doing. I have a large house with gated rooms for separation, medium and giant sized crates if needed, and a large backyard with a 6 foot brand-new fence. The upstairs is gated off for the cats' comfort (and so they can watch and judge from above). In my home, I allow animals on the furniture, unless you wish me to keep up with training that teaches them otherwise. And I have gated feeding areas and an entire pet first-aid cabinet in my kitchen for emergency situations. Water bowls are provided inside and out, and dogs are supervised when outside. In client homes, I like you to set the rules. I'm happy to go about treating your babies as I would in my own home, but if you have specifications you'd like me to follow, I'm more than happy to learn what those are and follow them for your needs.

Your fur baby’s happiness and comfort are always my top priority I know how important it is to feel at peace when leaving your pet, and I’m here to help with that. I currently have free full time availability as I am taking online college classes, I am available anyday anytime Monday-Sunday to help love and care for your pets. I focus on keeping pets comfortable, safe, and loved while maintaining their normal routine. I follow all feeding instructions carefully, make sure they always have fresh water, give medications if needed, and keep their space clean. (I used to work in a veterinary office.) I spend quality time with them through walks, playtime, and gentle attention so they don’t feel lonely or stressed. I also watch closely for any changes in behavior or health and communicate updates to the owner so they feel at ease.

About: I've loved dogs and cats my whole life and I have a good reproir with them. As a Rover sitter, I think it is important to give them lots of love and attention, and to keep them safe. A good sitter always keeps in mind how important people's pets are to them, and should make them feel at ease while they are away, and confident that thier babies are in good hands by communicating with them regularly and meeting all of thier needs. I have many repeating clients, and thier pets have become like family members to me over the years. We are always happy to see each other, but also sad when it's time to leave. My most cherished achievement was when I trained my friend's Dotson (Titus) with a fun snack-training system and prepared him for the dog Olympics tournament in Ohio, in which he came first place. I taught Titus to jump and spin, dance and roll-over and etc by directing his motions with the snack and repeating the commands until the snacks were no longer necessary. I used three brands of treats: Bronze treats (hard food); silver treats (soft dog snacks); and gold treats (a piece of white meat. It took a lot of repetition and patience, but after a couple of months, he became the most clever and talented dog i've ever trained. I also taught him to sing "Walk Like A Man" by The 4 Seasons. I work part-time in the early evening at Bach To Rock, which makes it easy to feed the dogs in the morning and at night. I also get gaps in my teaching schedule which allows me to drop in and take them for a walk or let them out if necessary. I also substitute teach which allows me to make my own schedule and that makes it easier for me to spend plenty of time taking care of people's pets when I have bookings. My other job is very close by so commuting is convenient as well. The safety and well-being of the pets is my top priority. Their emotional well-being is important too. Dogs get anxious and even depressed when their owners leave so it's my job to keep them comfortable and entertained. When I'm staying at a client's house, I make sure to keep doors shut and stay mindful when going in and out so they don't run out or get into anything they're not supposed to. I always make sure to ask about the layout of the house and the backyard, so they cant run off. When I'm walking them, I avoid stopping and talking with other people who are walking their pets, and I always make sure I know how their leash or harness goes on so they don't slip out of it. And then if they take meds, I set an alarm on my phone with a reminder note.
