About: Mike's first job was caring for his neighbors' pets. Mike has had pets since he was 10, and travelled around the world with his dogs and cats during his military career and regional sales role. Roscoe, Higgins, and Freyja are living the dream in the Pacific Northwest with frequent road (work) trips and cross-country visits to the family in Indiana and Massachusetts. Let me know if we can help you with your fur babies. Mike works from home and is an early riser. While the coffee is brewing, all the animals are waking up with bathroom breaks and breakfast. Mike walks Roscoe after breakfast and dinner. Since Roscoe is a senior, we frequently split the two meals into snacks and shorter walks. When the cats are interested, they climb into the backpacks and go see the world with us. I pay attention to the animals' behavior and routines. Consistency in feeding and bathroom breaks has made my pets very comfortable with my work and social routines. I have the flexibility to meet your routines and maintain the consistency you expect with your family while away from home. I recognize when it's time to stop playing, reduce the mileage, or go to the vet.

About: I am a dog sitter for neighbors and trusted friends! I am reliable and attentive, and love dogs with my whole heart. I also have a dog myself!! I have grown up surrounded with different dogs and would love to make sure you’re pet is comfortable when you’re not there! I love being outside, whether it’s going on walks or hikes, so pet care fits perfectly into my week. Taking care of dogs is something I genuinely enjoy and make time for. I care for pets by following their usual routine as closely as possible! In a clients home, I make sure pets feel secure in their familiar space and making sure everything is tidy.

Walks are tailored to your dogs’ energy, comfort, and the weather. For households with multiple dogs, we’ll discuss whether they can comfortably and safely walk together. After each visit, I’ll make sure your dogs are settled and your home is secured, then send photos and an update. For boarding and daycare, my home has a fenced yard and two friendly resident dogs, Higgins and Zoey. We have puzzle toys for enrichment and gates to provide separate spaces for rest and breaks from play. I’ll follow your dog’s schedule and keep you updated throughout their time here.
