About: Mike's first job was caring for his neighbors' pets. Mike has had pets since he was 10, and travelled around the world with his dogs and cats during his military career and regional sales role. Roscoe, Higgins, and Freyja are living the dream in the Pacific Northwest with frequent road (work) trips and cross-country visits to the family in Indiana and Massachusetts. Let me know if we can help you with your fur babies. Mike works from home and is an early riser. While the coffee is brewing, all the animals are waking up with bathroom breaks and breakfast. Mike walks Roscoe after breakfast and dinner. Since Roscoe is a senior, we frequently split the two meals into snacks and shorter walks. When the cats are interested, they climb into the backpacks and go see the world with us. I pay attention to the animals' behavior and routines. Consistency in feeding and bathroom breaks has made my pets very comfortable with my work and social routines. I have the flexibility to meet your routines and maintain the consistency you expect with your family while away from home. I recognize when it's time to stop playing, reduce the mileage, or go to the vet.

I’m home full-time, so your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and care throughout the day. Because I’m home, I’m able to easily accommodate feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, walks, medications, naps, and whatever routine your dog is used to. I only care for one guest dog at a time, so your pup will get lots of individual attention while staying with me. Your dog will be welcomed into our home like part of the family. We have a house with a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time, and dogs are welcome to relax on our furniture and even sleep in our bed if that’s what they’re accustomed to at home. I only board one dog at a time, which allows me to provide a calm, comfortable environment and plenty of personal attention. We also have Eddie, our 17-year-old Maltese, who loves other animals and is extremely calm, easygoing, and mostly interested in relaxing these days. I want your dog’s stay to feel as close to home as possible, so I’m happy to follow their normal routines, preferences, and little quirks that make them feel comfortable.

I’m responsible, caring, and experienced with providing pets with the attention, care, and companionship they need while their owners are away. About: Growing up, my family always had a house full of pets. I haven’t had a personal pet since then, but thankfully I get to spend time with so many of them via pet sitting. I've done tons of sitting over the years, ranging from a day, to months at a time. I’ve handled a range of breeds of both cats and dogs. About: I’m a mom of two humans, one fur baby and a leopard gecko. My first fur baby as an adult went to doggy heaven at 15 a few months ago and I’m looking to help fill that void by helping others with their fur babies. I’m reliable and love all dogs.
