My schedule is somewhat flexible as I primarily work at home refurbishing furniture and love an excuse to get some fresh air and take your furry family member for a walk or play time !

When I walk my own dogs I try and be observant of my surroundings and of how my dogs are reacting and would do so with anyone else’s dogs. For pet visits I would be mindful of being clean, bringing in any packages if requested ,caring for any other pets of all kinds and making sure the door is secured when I leave. Also I love plants and would water any that needed it per your request.

For walks I like to know how they are walking by other pets and people. Also anything that might trigger them or scare them. For drops in any requests like special treats or if they need to be kenneled. And importantly any allergies or medical issues!
A typical day
I absolutely love first landing state park and I’d gladly take your dogs there. Also playing fetch or even if your dog really needs to burn some energy I could take them for a run. Even though my run is probably a dogs walking pace !

Pet care experience
My favorite part is this job is meeting everyone’s pets and getting to know their individual personalities and quirks! Everyday I get to laugh, get outside and hangout with some sweet creatures! I have a lot of experience walking and interacting with larger dogs and feel comfortable with them. I love animals of all shapes and sizes! I own two rescue dogs that came to me very shy and lacking confidence. We took them to obedience and agility classes to help them build confidence. I’ve also owned a reactive dog and usually feel comfortable working with them in public especially if the dog is comfortable with me. I’ve owned fish and a parakeet. I have lived with many cats and a rabbit ! I haven’t had much reptile experience yet but find them very fascinating.

Gabrielle has been wonderful & works so nicely with our dog! She has an obvious love of animals & does a lovely job of meeting our dog’s needs.
Kiwi was so happy to have such a good friend checking up on her these past two weekends! She was so comfortable while we were gone and in a great mood when we got back. We will definitely be using Gabby's services for all of our out of town adventures!
