About: Welcome to our home! We are a husband-and-wife team who absolutely adore dogs and understand that your furry family member deserves the absolute best care while you are away. We know how stressful it can be to leave your pet, which is why we have opened our home to be a safe, fun, and relaxing sanctuary for your dog. With two of us in the household, there is almost always someone available for belly rubs, playtime, and couch snuggles. Our home is designed with pets in mind. Your dog will have full access to our comfortable living spaces where they can lounge, play, and nap securely. We have a fully fenced-in backyard with plenty of shade and we live in a quiet neighborhood with extensive walking options right outside our door. Either one of us or both of us are home on a daily rotation. At no time at no time, would your dog be home alone for longer than an hour. We accommodate your every need, because we have a dog, Scarlet, we understand completely that each one has their own unique personality. We are equipped with baby gates and more to ensure comfort and safety.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats for about 6 years and have experience with a wide range of breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I regularly pet sit for friends, family, and neighbors, and I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, bathing, and keeping pets on their normal routines. About: I have been a dog owner for 10 years! I also have owned cats and ferrets in the past! I have experience with dogs ranging from puppies to seniors. I currently live in the Virginia Beach area but live and go to school at William and Mary where I have pets I care for regularly! I do work about 20 hours a week at my regular job but typically do not work until later in the afternoon. When I have taken care of pets in the past, I found it to be very easy to fit it in to my schedule. I will treat and respect your space like it is my own space. About: I've grown up surrounded by animals my entire life, and that hands-on experience is what truly sets me apart. I was raised with three cats (2 indoor, 1 outdoor), caring for them from kittenhood all the way through end-of-life care, including demanding daily routines and administering medication. I also have two dogs of my own: a Mini Australian Shepherd I raised from a puppy and personally trained. He’s so smart he keeps me on my toes, which means I know exactly how to handle high-energy, high-drive breeds and the escape artists of the dog world. The other is a large pitty mix we adopted at age two who came to us with leash pulling, reactivity, excessive barking, and rough play habits, all of which I've worked through and successfully managed. I know how to confidently handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Beyond cats and dogs, I've owned two guinea pigs, a hamster, and fish, so I understand the specific and often overlooked needs of small pets too. I've also assisted my sister in fostering cats, many of whom were shy, post-surgical, or required medication and special feeding instructions, so I'm completely comfortable with pets that need a little extra patience and TLC. Most recently, I pet sat a kitten over spring break 2026, and I'm always happy to sit for other pet owners' animals as well. I'm in Blacksburg and available May 9–12 and May 16–22, with virtually nothing on my plate during those windows. Whether you need someone for a full house sit, multiple check-ins throughout the day, early morning visits, or late night drop-ins, I can make it work. Roscoe, Higgins, and Freyja are living the dream in the Pacific Northwest with frequent road (work) trips and cross-country visits to the family in Indiana and Massachusetts. Let me know if we can help you with your fur babies. Mike works from home and is an early riser. While the coffee is brewing, all the animals are waking up with bathroom breaks and breakfast. Mike walks Roscoe after breakfast and dinner. Since Roscoe is a senior, we frequently split the two meals into snacks and shorter walks. When the cats are interested, they climb into the backpacks and go see the world with us. I pay attention to the animals' behavior and routines. Consistency in feeding and bathroom breaks has made my pets very comfortable with my work and social routines. I have the flexibility to meet your routines and maintain the consistency you expect with your family while away from home. I recognize when it's time to stop playing, reduce the mileage, or go to the vet.

About: I’m a mom of two humans, one fur baby and a leopard gecko. My first fur baby as an adult went to doggy heaven at 15 a few months ago and I’m looking to help fill that void by helping others with their fur babies. I’m reliable and love all dogs. The bigger the better! My dog now is a pit/mastiff that is all love. I’m Not afraid of dog slobber and wet kisses. I teach high school and am done working at 230 every day. About: I’ve been fostering rescue dogs until they are ready for adoption and giving senior rescue dogs a loving and peaceful home until they cross the rainbow bridge since 2015. I have a hybrid telework/office job and I only work 5 minutes from home. My lunch hour is spent at home walking to dogs. We do long walks in the morning and evening. Weekends are spent at home with the pups. I am also a runner, so active dogs are more than welcome to join me for 1-5 miles daily. I have a fenced yard but never leave the dogs outside alone. I have two sweet dogs, a Shih Tsu and a Giant Pyredoodle, as well as three cats who adore the pups. I keep the upstairs gated off so the pups stay downstairs and my cats usually stay upstairs.
