About: Welcome to our home! We are a husband-and-wife team who absolutely adore dogs and understand that your furry family member deserves the absolute best care while you are away. We know how stressful it can be to leave your pet, which is why we have opened our home to be a safe, fun, and relaxing sanctuary for your dog. With two of us in the household, there is almost always someone available for belly rubs, playtime, and couch snuggles. Our home is designed with pets in mind. Your dog will have full access to our comfortable living spaces where they can lounge, play, and nap securely. We have a fully fenced-in backyard with plenty of shade and we live in a quiet neighborhood with extensive walking options right outside our door. Either one of us or both of us are home on a daily rotation. At no time at no time, would your dog be home alone for longer than an hour. We accommodate your every need, because we have a dog, Scarlet, we understand completely that each one has their own unique personality. We are equipped with baby gates and more to ensure comfort and safety.

About: I've had multiple dog breeds over the years, including weimaraner, dauchsund, australian shephard, and australian cattledog. Let me know your dogs personality so I can support him/her the best. I am currently between jobs, and am flexible in my schedule to support your pet care needs. I am kind, patient, and will play with your pet. I enjoy going on walks and would love to get out with your pup. Or if they need to stay closer to home, let me know how I can support your pet the best. I will go off the cues of what your pet feels most comfortable with. I have learned they need to be able to trust their caregiver. I am happy to earn their trust and will meet them where they are.

About: Growing up, my family always had a house full of pets. I haven’t had a personal pet since then, but thankfully I get to spend time with so many of them via pet sitting. I've done tons of sitting over the years, ranging from a day, to months at a time. I’ve handled a range of breeds of both cats and dogs. I’ll gladly adjust my schedule to fit your pet’s needs (early/late hours for feedings, medication, etc.). I’m currently working part-time and can flex hours, so I have plenty of time to play with pets! I’m available for boarding on both weekends and weekdays as well. Just reach out and let me know what you need and I’ll make it work! I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex, equipped with a dog park and a washing station. I live in a large two-bedroom apartment with no pets, so you don’t have to worry about them getting along with another fur baby! When it comes to visiting or staying at someone’s place, I’m extremely careful to keep the doors locked at all times.

About: I’ve had experience watching dogs for my entire life. I know how to give medicine, including injections, to dogs and cats. I am also certified in first aid and have completed a “Stop the Bleed” course. I’m available most days with a few days notice. I am able to come over and walk your dogs or just spend time with your pets. I can easily come to you and do whatever is needed. Walks, feedings, etc. I am very attentive and love to play with your pets.

About: I've grown up surrounded by animals my entire life, and that hands-on experience is what truly sets me apart. I was raised with three cats (2 indoor, 1 outdoor), caring for them from kittenhood all the way through end-of-life care, including demanding daily routines and administering medication. I also have two dogs of my own: a Mini Australian Shepherd I raised from a puppy and personally trained. He’s so smart he keeps me on my toes, which means I know exactly how to handle high-energy, high-drive breeds and the escape artists of the dog world. The other is a large pitty mix we adopted at age two who came to us with leash pulling, reactivity, excessive barking, and rough play habits, all of which I've worked through and successfully managed. I know how to confidently handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Beyond cats and dogs, I've owned two guinea pigs, a hamster, and fish, so I understand the specific and often overlooked needs of small pets too. I've also assisted my sister in fostering cats, many of whom were shy, post-surgical, or required medication and special feeding instructions, so I'm completely comfortable with pets that need a little extra patience and TLC. Most recently, I pet sat a kitten over spring break 2026, and I'm always happy to sit for other pet owners' animals as well. As a sophomore in Alpha Chi Omega, I bring the same reliability, respect, and communication to pet sitting that I bring to everything I do. I treat every pet as if they were my own, follow your routines to the letter, and love keeping owners in the loop with regular updates, photos, and videos, as often as you'd like. If you're looking for someone experienced, trustworthy, and genuinely passionate about animals, I'm your person! I currently only have one exam left, so my schedule is essentially wide open! I'm in Blacksburg and available May 9–12 and May 16–22, with virtually nothing on my plate during those windows. Whether you need someone for a full house sit, multiple check-ins throughout the day, early morning visits, or late night drop-ins, I can make it work. Flexibility is my strong suit right now, so don't hesitate to reach out no matter the timing or frequency! I'm happy to care for pets both in my home and in yours! For in-home sitting and visits at your place, I'm completely comfortable following whatever routine, rules, and setup you have in place, your home, your way. If you'd like your pet to stay with me, I welcome that too! Just note that I live in an apartment, so I don't have a fenced-in yard, but my complex has a dog park and is surrounded by beautiful neighborhood nature trails that are perfect for walks and exploring. I'd also ask that you send everything your pet needs along with them (crate, food/water bowls, bed, toys, leash, etc.) so they have the comfort of their own familiar belongings, which is honestly better for them anyway!

I currently have a senior dog of my own, so I’m especially attentive to routine, patience, and reading body language. I’m experienced with daily walks, feeding schedules, administering basic medications, crate routines, and giving pets the attention they need while you’re away. I understand how important consistency and safety are, and I treat every animal like they’re my own. I work remotely and have the capacity to be available whenever needed, including those that need multiple walks, medications or play time throughout the day. In a client’s home, I prioritize keeping your pet’s routine as consistent as possible — same feeding times, walk schedule, and familiar environment. I always double-check doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses before and after walks, and I’m attentive to surroundings while outside. I treat your home with respect and leave everything as I found it. For drop-ins and walks, I focus on safety, patience, and clear communication. I’ll send updates and photos so you know your pet is comfortable and cared for. My goal is for you to feel completely at ease while you’re away.

About: I have been around dogs my entire life and absolutely love them! I worked at a doggy daycare, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, and I also have two dogs of my own. My first dog was reactive, so I understand how to handle situations where a dog may be nervous or reactive around other dogs or while on walks. I love animals and will make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and happy while you're away! During the summer, I have a flexible schedule and can work around your pet's needs. Until the end of June, I have practice from 7–9 AM, but I'm free the rest of the day. Whether your pet needs walks, drop-in visits, playtime, or just some extra attention, I'll make sure they are well cared for and keep you updated while you're away. I always try to keep pets comfortable and stick to their normal routine as much as possible. About: Animals have always had a special place in my heart. Since I was young, I’ve always wanted to work with them in some way. I started watching dogs around middle school for family and friends. As time went on, I took as many opportunities as I could to pet sit. I have worked with dogs in a range of different sizes and temperaments from Shih Tzu to German Shepherds. All dogs will be welcomed and loved in my care! I am currently a student at George Mason University. I only go to in person classes Monday through Wednesday, 12-4. Any other day or time I am available for walks or longer care if needed. I am always open to fitting into whatever schedule you have for your pet. I only want to aid not hinder. About: Mike's first job was caring for his neighbors' pets. Mike has had pets since he was 10, and travelled around the world with his dogs and cats during his military career and regional sales role. Roscoe, Higgins, and Freyja are living the dream in the Pacific Northwest with frequent road (work) trips and cross-country visits to the family in Indiana and Massachusetts. Let me know if we can help you with your fur babies. Mike works from home and is an early riser. While the coffee is brewing, all the animals are waking up with bathroom breaks and breakfast. Mike walks Roscoe after breakfast and dinner. Since Roscoe is a senior, we frequently split the two meals into snacks and shorter walks. When the cats are interested, they climb into the backpacks and go see the world with us. I pay attention to the animals' behavior and routines. Consistency in feeding and bathroom breaks has made my pets very comfortable with my work and social routines. I have the flexibility to meet your routines and maintain the consistency you expect with your family while away from home. I recognize when it's time to stop playing, reduce the mileage, or go to the vet.

About: Hey! I am currently in school to be a vet! I can walk dogs 24/7 and give them all the loving! This would be a great way for me to expand my jobs with watching your dogs! I usually am up by 8am and spend most of the day with my dog while I do schooling at home. I’m mostly free of the day besides for leaving for work or getting my brother! I have a small dog who I feed, walk & play with. We do have a dog run in my apartments and I always take my dog out to play with his toys. I also love taking him for runs.
