About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life. I have experience with all ages and senior care, as my childhood dog is now 13, and I frequently pet sit and care for her. I have taken care of family and friends dogs as well, from the ages of puppies all the way to senior. With always being around various breeds, sizes, and temperaments, I have learned many things throughout the years. I have experience walking reactive and nonreactive dogs. As well as, bathing, playtime, potty breaks on and off leash, and, of course, giving lots of love and snuggles! I also have experience giving pills if needed. I would love to help with any needs you and your babies may have! I am currently free almost any day and time during the week. I am an ultrasound technician, and I am taking a break from working full time. I stay home and care for our home, and get to love on my doggy in the meantime. I have lots of availability to help out anyone who is looking for a caring person who will give their baby lots of love, and care for their unique needs. My dog Chili is a two year old rescue who was previously abused and became a stray. We had to help her overcome her anxiety through trust and training. We trained her to walk and potty on a leash, crate training, dog and people socialization, commands, and to be off leash. I have learned lots of patience and training skills to help her become comfortable with us and others. Now she is my little velcro dog and protector haha! I have learned throughout the years to always earn a dog’s trust to help ease any anxiety when meeting them. Boundaries are very important to me as well. If any are stated to me, they will be upheld. I appreciate those that listen to mine, so I will always listen to others.

About: I'm a high school math teacher and my wife works from home full time. Looking to watch after your little guys so we don’t have to get another one. Our dog Penny, has recently passed however we would like to keep her pictures and memory alive on this profile*. Most days I'm up early and dont mind being active and taking morning walks. Experience wise ive taken care of neighbors cats and dogs as a teen and have had 2 dogs myself over my adult years as well as turtles if you care about that. Dropping off your pet at my place seems like the best but I'm open to stopping by your place if need be. One of us is almost always at home full time to care for your pup. My wife loves snuggles and always looking for another blanket buddy We have a large yard and one friendly toddler looking for her next best friend. Overall it is a quiet home with lots of space.

About: == FULL TIME DOGGIE DAYCARE AND BOARDING! == Thank you for stopping by! Please read on to learn more about how we got started in the pet care business. == ABOUT US == We are a military family full of dog lovers (who isn't) and have been since we were children. This journey started after volunteering for a few months at a local humane society and wanting to spend more of our time with dogs. Since starting our Rover journey, we have been trusted with the privilege of caring for many of our friends' and family's dogs. With us, you can be sure that your dog will be in the hands of someone who enjoys dogs and their loving nature! == MEET AND GREETS == We personally do not require meet and greets but are more than willing to accommodate your request to have one, as we understand and value a mutually harmonious fit between all parties. Meet and greets will take place in the front yard and be limited to 10-15 minutes. Also, please know that we do not give tours due to liability reasons, however there are pictures on our profile to reference if needed. Our home is spacious, safe, secure and clean! PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING: Daycare rates cover up to 12 hours ( pricing can be adjusted for half days etc) Boarding rates covers 24 hours *If a daycare stay exceeds 12 hours, additional rates will be automatically applied. **If a boarding stay exceeds 24 hours by more than 2 hours, additional rates will be automatically applied. ***A convenience fee of $10 will be applied to any drop off or pick up prior to 7am. Please note that any photos and updates will be sent between the hours of 9am -9pm. If you have any further questions that were not answered here, please feel free to reach out to us. Thanks for reading and we hope to meet you and your best friend! == SCHEDULE == Our family is are full time dog sitters (I am a stay at home Mom) and Eric (husband) still works his full time job in the military typically 8am-2pm. We are committed to have a dog loving and caring life while balancing our "weekends". We are typically able to accommodate changes in your schedule/needs to adjust pick up and drop off times. Please let us know as soon as possible about any adjustments needed. == DURING YOUR PUPS STAY == Upon a dog's first arrival, we strictly monitor their interactions with any other dog to be aware of any dynamics we need to be concerned about. We do not hesitate to separate dogs into different play areas if anything seems off. Our property is fully fenced on all sides, and we have gates to keep even the best escape artist pups safe. Dogs have full access to our entire downstairs which open up to a well-maintained fenced in yard. == FEEDING == During feeding time, your dog will fed in their crate or a play pen area to prevent food aggression and upset stomachs caused by consuming foreign dog food of other pups. == SLEEPING == Crate-trained dogs will sleep in crates (please specify if your dog is used to a certain size, as we have a wide variety of sizes available. Dogs who are not crate trained will sleep in a pen. Special accommodations can be made for dogs who are not able to do either of those. == WALKS == While it is our goal to make sure each dog get proper exercise and socialization, we do not provide walks during boarding due to liability and risk factors involved with walks (dogs escaping from harness, eating something off the side walk, coming into contact with an unfriendly dog, etc). We do, however give them plenty of outdoor time with the other dogs or solo to socialize and play, which we find is ample exercise for the pups that stay with us. REQUESTED INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR PET Prior to dropping off, please fill out your dog's bio as much as possible. == THINGS WE WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR DOG == -Is your pup sick and/or contagious? -Quirks or habits that would be helpful to know (humping, chewing on paws, separation anxiety, excessive barking, etc). -Current or past illnesses, injuries, or traumatic history/triggers. -If they are taking any medication or require any special care instructions. -Is your pup up to date on vaccinations and flea & tick medication. We understand vaccines are not bulletproof and that some illnesses may have an extended incubation period but we highly recommend the vaccines to create the safest experience. *Please know that we are unable to care for sick/contagious dogs. If your pup shows any signs of disease or illness, please let us know beforehand so we can make sure you receive a proper refund. If we discover that your pup is exhibiting obvious symptoms of disease with the first 12 hours with us, your dog will need to be picked up and no refund will be issued. I am a stay at home mama. I pick up and drop off my children at school and have the rest of the day free to help take care of your dogs. We live in a very clean two-story home, fenced in yard, and all the necessities required to properly care for your pets. You will not need to worry as they will be in safe and good care during their appointments. I love to be outside and can travel for drop-ins, walks, and even in home sitting!

I'm basing this review on my limited experience with hiring dog walkers. This is my first time using this app or any dog walker services for that matter. I was amazed how easy it was to sign up and find a qualified dog walker under such short notice. I was worried my dog's stature and puppy manners would be intimidating, but was worried for nothing. The walker, Renee, handled him really well and passed in flying colors. Will use this service and walker again in the future if the need arises again.

Morgan was so easy to work with and such a kind individual! This is my first time using a dog walking service. My dog is very shy and timid in nature, but Morgan was very calm and patient with him and also very reassuring towards me regarding my concerns with his fearfulness. Will certainly use her again in the future!

About: With a lifelong dedication to high quality pet care in an upscale horse ranch. Fenced doggie parks on our ranch depending size and needs of your dog. Pictures and videos every day. I excel with dog all ages including puppies, elderly dogs, dogs with medical care or special needs, kittens, and farm animals of all ages. Our idyllic farm, abundant space, and love ensure optimal care for every creature great or small. I am a cancer survivor and decided to have a lifestyle change to do what we love to do most: Taking care of animals and moved from the city to the country. It was the best decision of our lives. Working with dogs / furry pets is not a job but passion for us. It’s very therapeutic for us to spend our days in the nature with the most beautiful creatures in the world. I just love what I do and take pride in how I feel and speak their language and understand their phycology. I work from home and there’s almost always someone is in the house. My house is dog proof for them to roam around all day which usually they follow us everywhere. Dog paradise retreat not a regular dog sitting. Animals are my passion. I work full-time for taking care of animals from home and caring for animals is my lifestyle. I provide all needs including medication, water, walks, and tender, love and care. Our property is a pet retreat. This is not a regular dog sitting place. I created safe fenced doggie parks on our horse ranch to provide the ultimate fun and comfort for pets to not to experience separation anxiety from their furry parents. Our house is pet/child proof. I am dedicated to give the best environment of love and joy to animals they deserve. This is a passion for me. Tidy Setup: Fenced areas for dogs to run. Imagine our ranch/farm is a doggy sized park: Three different sized playgrounds for different sized dogs to ensure their safety and comfortability. This includes a private space with an indoor barn, play area, and fenced pen. Indoors, two small, friendly therapy and service dogs reside with lots of room to roam.

About: From a young age I've been helping my mother take care of the many dogs we owned. Through the years we've also had everything from horses, cats, chickens, pigs and even rodents. It just seems fitting now that I'm an adult I would become an animal caretaker. I am willing to take care of almost any animal, if you have something unusual just ask. However I do prefer to not have to take care of certain reptiles. I'm currently unemployed so I am available most times of the week. I'm able to come take care of your pets whenever you are in need. I will follow all the rules that you would have about your pet and home. I will keep a very watchful eye on them at all times.

About: Hey! I’m Kay, your go-to local walker for keeping your dogs active, grounded, and well-exercised. Navigating neighborhoods and taking a good walk/run helps me also because I can get my steps in. Whether your pup needs to burn some serious energy before your workday kicks off or a solid mid-day stretch, I’ve got you covered. I'm a stay at home mom so I don't have much going on during the day. I would love to walk and play with your fur babies. When I’m dropping by or walking your dog, my main focus is keeping their routine smooth, safe, and stress-free. I treat your space and your pet with total respect—making sure leashes, keys, and doors are managed securely, water bowls are topped off And your pup is returned safely.

About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of this year :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) OVERNIGHT 40 hours WEDNESDAY thru SATURDAY. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 8am to 2pm. Sunday thru Tuesday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my overnight work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. Quality. Compassionate. Care. is what I provide pets. I want them to have the creature comforts that make them feel all warm and comfy and content.

About: Hi, I'm a local pet owner and carer in the North Chicago area looking to serve all of your pet sitting needs. I love animals, having cared for several cats and dogs of my own since 2008. Larger dogs are not an issue for me as I have owned and cared for an Akita in the past. I am concientious with regard to special care for your pet and love going for long walks. I enjoy playing and running with your pup for both strength and growth. I am also careful about communication with you about the pet's progress and health. My attention to detail and patience will allow me to assess and provide what your pet enjoys most about play-time and keep up with them throughout the daily routines. Looking forward to hearing from you! I'm currently working part time, so I have plenty of walking time available. Playtime for my dogs looks like walking and fetch at the park and for my cats, fishing poles and string. I am available to sit your pets within your home. I have an excellent track record with cleanliness and good stewardship both of pets, whose care is primary, and homes.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
