“Kristyna was wonderful with our painfully shy cat, never giving up on trying to earn her affection during my 9-day trip out of the country. She was reliable, flexible, and communicated in detail. I would definitely recommend her and would use her services again!”

“Highly recommend! At the meet and greet she was so easy to talk to and our dog Luna loved her! While we were away I didnt worry if callie and luna were taken care of, she sent pictures of them getting all the love and attention. I think our house was cleaner than when we left too, 10/10 will be using every time we go out of town!”

“Katherine did an awesome job cat sitting for us. She took great care of our cat and even washed dishes/cleaned up. We will definitely be reaching out if/when we need a cat sitter again!”

“Stephanie took such great care of our dogs while we were out of town! She kept us up to date and was there when she said she would be! Will definitely be using her again!”

“Ashley was amazing. My rather shy kitty warmed up to her quickly. She dependably stopped by to feed my spoiled boy twice a day. She played with him and made sure he got his favorite treats. I’ll definitely trust Ashley to take care of my old boy again!!! 💕😻”

“Rachael was absolutely amazing! She stayed longer than expected, brought treats for the dogs, kept us updated the entire time, and made sure they felt completely loved while we were away. It was such a relief knowing they were in such caring and attentive hands. We’re so grateful for her and wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!”

“Debbie is wonderful! We have been using her the last few weeks to walk Maggie. Maggie is very timid and debbie has done a fantastic job at developing such a sweet relationship with her. We get detailed updates and pictures after every walk. Cannot recommend Debbie enough!”

“Janie did a great job taking care of my dogs. It was such a relief knowing that they were doing good under her care. She communicates really well and she was always on time or early for the visits. I will definitely reach to her again whenever I need someone to look after my pups again.”

“Meagan took great care of our Archie and Ensley! She was very responsive, sent cute pictures, and kept us updated on how they were doing. It gave us peace of mind traveling knowing that she was taking such good care of them! We will definitely be booking with Meagan again in the future! Thank you Meagan! 🐾💜”

“Gloria did amazing! She met my dogs before hand. My German shepherd can be a pretty serious dog at times, but Gloria was comfortable with her. She followed all my instructions and requests. She was great with communication as well. I highly recommend and look forward to working with her in the future.”

“Casey was very thorough and thoughtful caring for my three dogs. I have one dog who is a senior and another who has heart issues. Casey confirmed their medications were administered at each visit. She let me know they were eating and drinking, and included any points that might be of concern. She included lots of pictures too. She also planned her time each visit to make sure they had some time to wind down and have a drink inside after play time outside. Her clear notes showed how attentive she was to them and gave me a lot of peace mind.”

“Monique stepped in a few months ago when we unexpectedly needed someone to help us take care of Echo. She’s been helping out for several months now and we couldn’t be happier. I know my girl is being well taken care of, enjoying some sunshine, cuddles, and treats when in Monique’s care. Monique is professional and is great at communicating updates, highlights, etc. She’s always sending lots of silly and sweet photos of Echo’s adventures during every drop in/walk. Echo can have some separation anxiety and being a frenchie she can overheat easily, but Monique is always calm and reassuring towards Echo and always mindful of her needs. Monique always goes the extra mile and so I can’t recommended her more highly, 5/5 stars.”

Tiffany was a wonderful sitter for my cat, Ched! I had a little scare with Ched right before I left on my trip and Tiffany was so reassuring and extra communicative with updates and everything else! Her updates were always so thorough with plenty of pictures of my sweet guy. Can’t recommend her enough!!

Vanessa was great at keeping our many animals (3 dogs, one cat) happy for a long 10 day trip we had out of state. She administered meds, took dogs out for play, sent pics, and even cleaned up a potty incident in the house! Very communicative and our animals were all well taken care of. Highly recommend.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Kings Grant. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
