“10/10 will be calling Audrey back if I have to leave town again! A true animal lover, so caring and thoughtful. She has absolutely eased my anxiety being away from my cat and leaving him alone for the first time since his sister died. I couldn’t have asked for better care.”

“Hannah was an amazing sitter! She took great pictures of my cat as well as pictures to make sure I knew he had food, clean litter and water! I would definitely recommend her and will be using her again in the future!”

“Emma was great! Fawda(my cat) is pretty high energy and very vocal so she is not a typical cat. Emma made sure she got her food and her treats in her puzzle box and also brought in our mail. I would absolutely hire her again to take care of Fawda.”

“Mary, thank you so much for taking such good care of our Belle. This entire booking was kind of crazy and Mary was so good at being flexible and accommodating. We had to say good-bye to one of our kitties before our trip. Mary quickly update the booking and sent her condolences. She was even great when we decided to come back a day sooner. We appreciate her so much! We always make sure to book Mary well in advance because we know she will take great care of our cats.”

“Sara did a terrific job taking care of Scout and McCoy... they even came out of hiding to see her. I am delighted at how comfortable the cats were with her. I will use her again.”

“Haley did an awesome job caring for my senior cat Hector! She's very professional, very thorough and super caring! Can't say enough good things about Haley! Very highly recommended!”
“Gage did a great job for us watching our two dogs. He was there for all the scheduled times and did a fantastic job giving them their meds and getting them to eat. I would recommend Gage to anyone and plan on using him again each time we need a dog sitter.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter than Alyssia! She stayed overnight in our home for a week while we were on vacation in the OBX and took fantastic care of our three cats. She sent daily updates with funny photos and videos that gave us total peace of mind (and some good laughs). Alyssia also took excellent care of our home—bringing in the mail and packages, taking out the trash, and cleaning up after herself. Everything was spotless when we returned. Most importantly, our cats were calm, happy, and well-fed. In the past, they’ve seemed stressed or even lost weight while we were away, but not this time. They warmed up to her quickly! We’ve already rebooked her and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter. Thank you, Alyssia!”

About: I absolutely love taking care of pets, especially dogs! I have a lot of energy to keep all dogs entertained. I have dog sitted before and absolutely enjoyed it. Seeing the dogs get excited when you show them the leash or even just show up is the best feeling ever! I try to get to know each dog as best as I can. If a dogs is super hyper and likes to go on runs, then I will do it. If a dog likes to walk at a slower pace, then we will walk at that pace. Each dog is special in their own way. I can also help clean any part of the house while watching over the dogs, if any help is needed. I am currently working during the week ( Monday- Friday) but I am free on anytime during the weekends. For Monday-Friday it just depends when you will need me and I can adjust. I can care for your pet in your own if they are more comfortable. Or I can have them in my own which has a fenced in yard.
About: I've loved animals since I was little. It hasn't changed one bit, and I want to work in the veterinary field and be surrounded by animals all day long. I take care of my mini-aussie and rabbit daily, feeding and walking in the morning and evening, and play time whenever I am available during the day. I have a fenced yard and a quiet neighborhood for walks and indoor/outdoor play. I will follow your instructions at your house. At either place, your animals will be loved.
“I'm new to the Virginia Beach area and this is the first time ever that I didn't have a friend to take care of my cats while I was away. Rachel did a great job, was very communicative, and put my mind at ease about using a service I had never used before. I was very happy with Rachel and will definitely work with her in the future!”

“Ava was excellent director by her time as our sitter. She did drop in visits with our cat, and she was very communicative. We will use Ava again when we need to go out of town!”

“Elizabeth is very experienced. She’s sweet and strong and young and mature and knows how to handle dogs for sure! Highly recommend her for your dog walking needs!”
“Akemi was great. She went above and beyond. Concerned that the cats were acting out because of our absence, she dropped by more frequently on her own without any need for increased payment. The cats warmed up to her fast and were very responsive to her attention. She sent a variety of photos that comforted our family while away. We were sure she was taking great care of the cats. Her reporting was detailed and, as mentioned before, she performed far above and beyond expectations, which were already high. We are very grateful for Akemi and the awesome care she gave to our cats and family!”

Albemarle Acres cat parents share their Rover experiences
Julia did a fantastic job looking in on our pets. She was consistent, arrived within the time window we asked for and stayed with our pets throughout the duration of the visit. Julia paid attention to the specific needs of our pets and insured each of them received the attention they needed. She also dealt with a bit of a homeowner situation as our water line developed a leak the night before the visits started requiring a bit of creativity when it came to maintaining water access for the animals.
