About: My home can offer you the level of care and attention you want for your pet. I’ve always believed dogs shouldn’t just be “checked on”—they deserve attention, interaction, and a sense of comfort while their owners are away. Your pet will be loved on as if he/she were my own. I’ve had dogs my whole life and have raised several from puppies through their senior years, including a rescue, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs and personalities. My home is very pet-friendly, with a large backyard for play and space to relax. I also have a 5-year-old lab and a young child, so safety is a top priority. I only accept dogs that are gentle and a good fit for a family environment. My goal is simple: to give your pet a safe, calm, and genuinely cared-for place that feels as close to home as possible. I am currently working part-time, so I am home frequently. My roomate and I often work together to care for your pets, so they won't be left alone for long periods of time. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm available 24/7 unless I am going out of town. I usually work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 5pm-10pm. I prefer drop offs no earlier than 8am, but I can accommodate if needed. I prefer to do a meet and greet before overnight boarding. I cant always accommodate last minute bookings, but don't hesitate to reach out. I have a large fenced in yard, one very playful 5 year old lab, and a friendly toddler. My dog has free rein of the house and yard. When I am home, I leave the back door open so she can come and go as she pleases. When I leave, I can separate the dogs and crate as needed.

About: My name is Cameron and caring for dogs has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve been around dogs since I was six years old. Since then, I’ve owned and cared for a wide variety of breeds, including my two current boys. A Harlequin Great Dane named Mylo & a German Shepherd/Lab mix his name is Bear. About: I LOVE dogs. I am the go-to for my granddogs- yes, I have granddogs. My granddog, Nina, has emotional issues and can be aggressive, and I am the only one who can stay with her when my son and his family go on vacation. I have always been a dog person, nothing against cats, just that I'm allergic to cat dander. I cannot stand to see animals suffering and as a child my parents had to discourage me from trying to save every creature I saw. My baby Finn is the king of the castle but he's the sweetest most docile love bug in the universe and he loves to share his space and welcome all. You can literally feel the good energy when you walk in the door and Finny is the nucleus of that good energy. I'm retired and home all day. I am in an apartment complex but there is a huge yard right behind my apartment and plenty of space to walk and explore. I am able to do drop in visits, walks, doggy day care, provide love and cuddles per your specific instructions. Fur babies are our kids, at least I feel that way. My baby is my heart and so are my granddogs. The same way I wouldn't want just anyone watching my grandkids and I will make a trip to Pennsylvania JUST to babysit, I also know and understand you don't want just anyone watching your babies.

About: Hi, I’m Autumn! I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Friends and family have always used me as their go to person that they trust with their animals. I also have a cat of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and understand their different personalities. About: I have owned dogs since I was 14. I currently have 2 dogs of my own. I also volunteer with animals and have dog sat for several friends over the years. I love cats but have not babysat any, only loved them at others homes. I currently work full time but mostly from home. Some days I am out in the world but usually for no more than 6 hours at a time. Majority of work hours are Monday - Friday 8-5 Pets have free range at home unless they need to be crated. Have a fenced in backyard and can also walk dogs if preferred. Large neighborhood to walk them around. Also have a responsible teenage daughter who can help with feedings and bathroom breaks. Trash can is in the pantry for little to no access.

I'm highly experienced with all dog sizes, especially giant breeds (the bigger the better!). I even have experience with pet hospice care through a local shelter. A little more about me personally: I have 3 dogs, including 2 Great Danes and a Golden Retriever. I also have 3 very demanding cats. So you know I'm well-versed in handling the crazy, and will treat your baby just like my own! Pets are the center of my world and yours will be too. I work from home and can provide round-the-clock care and attention during boarding and daycare. I'm currently working part time and looking for additional pet care opportunities to fill my days, since it's something I truly enjoy doing. I have a large house with gated rooms for separation, medium and giant sized crates if needed, and a large backyard with a 6 foot brand-new fence. The upstairs is gated off for the cats' comfort (and so they can watch and judge from above). In my home, I allow animals on the furniture, unless you wish me to keep up with training that teaches them otherwise. And I have gated feeding areas and an entire pet first-aid cabinet in my kitchen for emergency situations. Water bowls are provided inside and out, and dogs are supervised when outside. In client homes, I like you to set the rules. I'm happy to go about treating your babies as I would in my own home, but if you have specifications you'd like me to follow, I'm more than happy to learn what those are and follow them for your needs.
About: I've loved dogs and cats my whole life and I have a good reproir with them. As a Rover sitter, I think it is important to give them lots of love and attention, and to keep them safe. A good sitter always keeps in mind how important people's pets are to them, and should make them feel at ease while they are away, and confident that thier babies are in good hands by communicating with them regularly and meeting all of thier needs. I have many repeating clients, and thier pets have become like family members to me over the years. We are always happy to see each other, but also sad when it's time to leave. My most cherished achievement was when I trained my friend's Dotson (Titus) with a fun snack-training system and prepared him for the dog Olympics tournament in Ohio, in which he came first place. I taught Titus to jump and spin, dance and roll-over and etc by directing his motions with the snack and repeating the commands until the snacks were no longer necessary. I used three brands of treats: Bronze treats (hard food); silver treats (soft dog snacks); and gold treats (a piece of white meat. It took a lot of repetition and patience, but after a couple of months, he became the most clever and talented dog i've ever trained. I also taught him to sing "Walk Like A Man" by The 4 Seasons. I work part-time in the early evening at Bach To Rock, which makes it easy to feed the dogs in the morning and at night. I also get gaps in my teaching schedule which allows me to drop in and take them for a walk or let them out if necessary. I also substitute teach which allows me to make my own schedule and that makes it easier for me to spend plenty of time taking care of people's pets when I have bookings. My other job is very close by so commuting is convenient as well. The safety and well-being of the pets is my top priority. Their emotional well-being is important too. Dogs get anxious and even depressed when their owners leave so it's my job to keep them comfortable and entertained. When I'm staying at a client's house, I make sure to keep doors shut and stay mindful when going in and out so they don't run out or get into anything they're not supposed to. I always make sure to ask about the layout of the house and the backyard, so they cant run off. When I'm walking them, I avoid stopping and talking with other people who are walking their pets, and I always make sure I know how their leash or harness goes on so they don't slip out of it. And then if they take meds, I set an alarm on my phone with a reminder note.

“Meagan was awesome! Especially with a last minute booking, she was available for meet and greet prior and asked and answered any questions with ease. Throughout the stay her communications were excellent and she sent great pictures. We didn’t worry on our trip because we knew Lyra was in great hands! We knew Lyra was treated as family while in her stay! Would 100 percent book her again!”
