I'm highly experienced with all dog sizes, especially giant breeds (the bigger the better!). “I can't say enough good things about Dustin. I met him this morning when I dropped off Blaze, my 4 month old lab. We spent a good amount of time talking as my boy was introduced do some of the other dogs. He answered all my questions, gave me plenty of tips & suggestions for specific situations and things I had planned for the future. He really put me at ease which is saying a lot because I don't have a ton of dog experience. When I picked Blaze up this afternoon Dustin showed me a few videos he took, we talked a bit more about puppies in general, etc - I could go on and on. Suffice it to say it's clear he enjoys working with our furry friends, he's really good at it, and I intend to bring Blaze for more visits soon, maybe some training too.”

About: I have owned dogs since I was 14. I currently have 2 dogs of my own. I also volunteer with animals and have dog sat for several friends over the years. I love cats but have not babysat any, only loved them at others homes. I currently work full time but mostly from home. Some days I am out in the world but usually for no more than 6 hours at a time. I taught Titus to jump and spin, dance and roll-over and etc by directing his motions with the snack and repeating the commands until the snacks were no longer necessary. I used three brands of treats: Bronze treats (hard food); silver treats (soft dog snacks); and gold treats (a piece of white meat. It took a lot of repetition and patience, but after a couple of months, he became the most clever and talented dog i've ever trained. I also taught him to sing "Walk Like A Man" by The 4 Seasons. I work part-time in the early evening at Bach To Rock, which makes it easy to feed the dogs in the morning and at night. I also get gaps in my teaching schedule which allows me to drop in and take them for a walk or let them out if necessary. I also substitute teach which allows me to make my own schedule and that makes it easier for me to spend plenty of time taking care of people's pets when I have bookings. My other job is very close by so commuting is convenient as well. The safety and well-being of the pets is my top priority. Their emotional well-being is important too. Dogs get anxious and even depressed when their owners leave so it's my job to keep them comfortable and entertained. When I'm staying at a client's house, I make sure to keep doors shut and stay mindful when going in and out so they don't run out or get into anything they're not supposed to. I always make sure to ask about the layout of the house and the backyard, so they cant run off. When I'm walking them, I avoid stopping and talking with other people who are walking their pets, and I always make sure I know how their leash or harness goes on so they don't slip out of it. And then if they take meds, I set an alarm on my phone with a reminder note.

About: Hello! My name is Danielle and I've been caring for pets my entire life! I have been raising, training, and pampering my own babies for the past 10 years and providing local services to friends and neighbors. I'm highly experienced with all dog sizes, especially giant breeds (the bigger the better!). I can provide boarding, sitting, training, walking, grooming, specialized feeding, medication administering, and even first-aid if needed. I even have experience with pet hospice care through a local shelter. A little more about me personally: I have 3 dogs, including 2 Great Danes and a Golden Retriever. I also have 3 very demanding cats. So you know I'm well-versed in handling the crazy, and will treat your baby just like my own! Pets are the center of my world and yours will be too. I work from home and can provide round-the-clock care and attention during boarding and daycare. I'm currently working part time and looking for additional pet care opportunities to fill my days, since it's something I truly enjoy doing. I have a large house with gated rooms for separation, medium and giant sized crates if needed, and a large backyard with a 6 foot brand-new fence. The upstairs is gated off for the cats' comfort (and so they can watch and judge from above). In my home, I allow animals on the furniture, unless you wish me to keep up with training that teaches them otherwise. And I have gated feeding areas and an entire pet first-aid cabinet in my kitchen for emergency situations. Water bowls are provided inside and out, and dogs are supervised when outside. In client homes, I like you to set the rules. I'm happy to go about treating your babies as I would in my own home, but if you have specifications you'd like me to follow, I'm more than happy to learn what those are and follow them for your needs.
