About: I have trained both of my corgis myself and volunteered at animal shelters for a few years in Texas and Florida, I love animals and being around them. I am in the Navy and am currently in a holding period so I only work an hour every day leaving me plenty of time to care for your babies and my own! I have a huge free open field behind my apartment perfect for long walks or playing! My two corgis are also very friendly and love other dogs! I can also crate them if that’s needed!

By the end of her time taking care of them he was allowing her to pet him, which if you know cats is no small feat. About: I recently got married and moved to the area. I’m a Virginia tech animal science grad. I have worked in a boarding and daycare facility the past 2 years. About: My home can offer you the level of care and attention you want for your pet. I’ve always believed dogs shouldn’t just be “checked on”—they deserve attention, interaction, and a sense of comfort while their owners are away. Your pet will be loved on as if he/she were my own. I’ve had dogs my whole life and have raised several from puppies through their senior years, including a rescue, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs and personalities. My home is very pet-friendly, with a large backyard for play and space to relax. I also have a 5-year-old lab and a young child, so safety is a top priority. I only accept dogs that are gentle and a good fit for a family environment. My goal is simple: to give your pet a safe, calm, and genuinely cared-for place that feels as close to home as possible. I am currently working part-time, so I am home frequently. Your pet won't be left alone for long periods of time. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm available 24/7 unless I am going out of town. I usually work Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 5pm-10pm. I prefer to do a meet and greet before boarding. I cant always accommodate last minute bookings, but don't hesitate to reach out. I have a large fenced in yard, one very playful 5 year old lab, and a friendly toddler. My dog has free rein of the house and yard. When I am home, I leave the back door open so she can come and go as she pleases. When I leave, I can separate the dogs and crate as needed.

About: I've been an animal lover and owner of cats and dogs my whole life. While in college, I worked at a veterinarian's office just to be around pets, and it was the most rewarding and fun job I ever had! I lost my beloved Cavalier two years ago and miss him dearly, but I'm not ready to own again. I really miss having a pet companion and have lots of love to share with your pets. About: I have had dogs my entire life. I do currently have 2 chiweenies who I adopted 8 years ago. They bring so much joy to my life. I am a elementary school teacher so I am available most of the time during summer snd spring break. While your dogs are at my house they will get to go on daily walks and even visit the dog park where we can play fetch and run in my apartment complex. Also while your dogs are enjoying their stay they are able to go on furniture. Overnight visits are for weekends and summer break when I dont have work. I can not wait to meet your fur baby! So I am able to pay attention to your pet all day I have a crate for those dogs who need separating. Dogs are allowed to roam the whole apartment. About: I've loved dogs and cats my whole life and I have a good reproir with them. As a Rover sitter, I think it is important to give them lots of love and attention, and to keep them safe. A good sitter always keeps in mind how important people's pets are to them, and should make them feel at ease while they are away, and confident that thier babies are in good hands by communicating with them regularly and meeting all of thier needs. I have many repeating clients, and thier pets have become like family members to me over the years. We are always happy to see each other, but also sad when it's time to leave. My most cherished achievement was when I trained my friend's Dotson (Titus) with a fun snack-training system and prepared him for the dog Olympics tournament in Ohio, in which he came first place. I taught Titus to jump and spin, dance and roll-over and etc by directing his motions with the snack and repeating the commands until the snacks were no longer necessary. I used three brands of treats: Bronze treats (hard food); silver treats (soft dog snacks); and gold treats (a piece of white meat. It took a lot of repetition and patience, but after a couple of months, he became the most clever and talented dog i've ever trained. I also taught him to sing "Walk Like A Man" by The 4 Seasons. I work part-time in the early evening at Bach To Rock, which makes it easy to feed the dogs in the morning and at night. I also get gaps in my teaching schedule which allows me to drop in and take them for a walk or let them out if necessary. I also substitute teach which allows me to make my own schedule and that makes it easier for me to spend plenty of time taking care of people's pets when I have bookings. My other job is very close by so commuting is convenient as well. The safety and well-being of the pets is my top priority. Their emotional well-being is important too. Dogs get anxious and even depressed when their owners leave so it's my job to keep them comfortable and entertained. When I'm staying at a client's house, I make sure to keep doors shut and stay mindful when going in and out so they don't run out or get into anything they're not supposed to. I always make sure to ask about the layout of the house and the backyard, so they cant run off. When I'm walking them, I avoid stopping and talking with other people who are walking their pets, and I always make sure I know how their leash or harness goes on so they don't slip out of it. And then if they take meds, I set an alarm on my phone with a reminder note.

About: I have trained both of my corgis myself and volunteered at animal shelters for a few years in Texas and Florida, I love animals and being around them. I am in the Navy and am currently in a holding period so I only work an hour every day leaving me plenty of time to care for your babies and my own! I have a huge free open field behind my apartment perfect for long walks or playing! My two corgis are also very friendly and love other dogs! I can also crate them if that’s needed!
