About: I have had many pets while growing up including cats and dogs! My current fur baby is a corgi beagle who’s getting older so i do have experience with older dogs. I’m currently working part time at a gym so i have very flexible hours! I also love walking for my own personal exercise so getting to have a lil fur baby buddy to keep me company is amazing! My condo does not allow pets so i will only be able to watch your fur baby at your place. I’m hoping to take them on nice walks length of walk of course depending on the pets physical ability

About: I own a dog and two cats myself, and I've always adored animals. As a pet owner, I will care for your pets as if they were my own. It takes a lot of trust to place your pets in someone else's care, and I take the responsibility of making sure they are safe and well cared for seriously. I know what it feels like to take a trip or be at work and worry about whether your companions are comfortable and receiving enough attention and love. I hope to be able to put your mind at ease - our pets are a part of our families, and they deserve to be treated and cared for as such. I'm currently enrolled in an online graduate school program, so my schedule is flexible and I'm available most days and times! Let me know what works best for you. I can follow any guidelines you set regarding the care of your dogs or cats. I have no problem following a set schedule for walking and feeding, of course, with ample playtime included. If your dog or cat loves affection, I offer unlimited cuddle time and also have a great arm if they enjoy playing fetch or frisbee. For pets with specific dietary needs, I am happy to follow your instructions regarding mealtime.

About: I have pet sat many times through my life, including puppies. I am very familiar with the puppy stage and how little sleep you get 🫣😴🥵 I have owned cats for the last ten years, including fosters. One of them was a geriatric cat, so I am familiar with administering meds to the most difficult of cats. I currently have an ex feral, so I am familiar with the patience needed to care for pets of all types. I currently work full time, so I am really only available for last minute trips or work on the weekends. I would love to be your regular day trip/weekend trip sitter! About: I am my neighborhood's resident dog lover and have known every dog in the neighborhood by name since I can remember! In 2020, I finally got my own two dogs, Teddy and Lily, and started house sitting and dog walking for other dogs in the neighborhood. I have never loved anyone more than my dogs, and I feel the same way about all of the other dogs I care for. I would be delighted to give your dog my full love and attention when you are away! I have a very flexible work from home schedule, so your dog would be my first priority! I rarely leave the house when I am dog sitting. I am experienced with walking dogs both on leash and off leash, depending on the needs of the dog and the environment. I am used to spending virtually all day at my clients' homes and only leave for very short periods of time.

About: I recently got married and moved to the area. I’m a Virginia tech animal science grad. I have worked in a boarding and daycare facility the past 2 years. I also have some dog training experience from college and in the kennel facility. Upon request I can offer training sessions for your pups. I recently moved to the area and still looking for a job that’s a good fit for me. In the meantime your pups will have all my free time! I have plenty of experience working with all types of dogs, including ones that are nervous greeters, food aggressive, barrier reactivity, leash reactivity and more. I understand every dog is different and will always work to make your dog comfortable in any environment. Big advocate for always having treats on hand and reading their body language at every interaction.

About: I've loved dogs and cats my whole life and I have a good reproir with them. As a Rover sitter, I think it is important to give them lots of love and attention, and to keep them safe. A good sitter always keeps in mind how important people's pets are to them, and should make them feel at ease while they are away, and confident that thier babies are in good hands by communicating with them regularly and meeting all of thier needs. I have many repeating clients, and thier pets have become like family members to me over the years. We are always happy to see each other, but also sad when it's time to leave. My most cherished achievement was when I trained my friend's Dotson (Titus) with a fun snack-training system and prepared him for the dog Olympics tournament in Ohio, in which he came first place. I taught Titus to jump and spin, dance and roll-over and etc by directing his motions with the snack and repeating the commands until the snacks were no longer necessary. I used three brands of treats: Bronze treats (hard food); silver treats (soft dog snacks); and gold treats (a piece of white meat. It took a lot of repetition and patience, but after a couple of months, he became the most clever and talented dog i've ever trained. I also taught him to sing "Walk Like A Man" by The 4 Seasons. I work part-time in the early evening at Bach To Rock, which makes it easy to feed the dogs in the morning and at night. I also get gaps in my teaching schedule which allows me to drop in and take them for a walk or let them out if necessary. I also substitute teach which allows me to make my own schedule and that makes it easier for me to spend plenty of time taking care of people's pets when I have bookings. My other job is very close by so commuting is convenient as well. The safety and well-being of the pets is my top priority. Their emotional well-being is important too. Dogs get anxious and even depressed when their owners leave so it's my job to keep them comfortable and entertained. When I'm staying at a client's house, I make sure to keep doors shut and stay mindful when going in and out so they don't run out or get into anything they're not supposed to. I always make sure to ask about the layout of the house and the backyard, so they cant run off. When I'm walking them, I avoid stopping and talking with other people who are walking their pets, and I always make sure I know how their leash or harness goes on so they don't slip out of it. And then if they take meds, I set an alarm on my phone with a reminder note.

About: I am a very caring and compassionate person. I love animals of all kinds. I personally have a 14 year old cat named Chubb's and I have had him since I was 5. I also pet sit for family members on a regular basis. I am a college student just trying to earn a little extra money where I can so my schedule is pretty much open. I take weekend classes online so if needed I could also work on weekends with 2 days notice. My week days are pretty much free and my schedule is very flexible! I care for all pets as if they were my own making sure that they are comfortable and loved.I stick to their normal routines and give them plenty of playtime and cuddles.My goal is to make sure that your pup feels cared for and happy until you are back.

About: Hi, I’m Autumn! I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Friends and family have always used me as their go to person that they trust with their animals. I also have a cat of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and understand their different personalities. I know every pet has their own personality and I love getting to know what makes each one unique. I work at a local bakery full time from 7am to 3pm, so I’m regularly available in the afternoons, evenings, and all day Mondays and Tuesdays. With a little advance notice I can often be flexible outside of those hours as well. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can be stressful so my goal is to make the experience as comfortable as possible for the both of you. When you trust me with your pet you can expect lots of photo updates and someone who will truly love and care for them as if they were my own. I also understand the importance of treating every home with the same respect and care that I would expect for mine.

About: I have experience with senior dogs, so I am comfortable with slow walks and can recognize signs of discomfort. I am extremely patient and understanding when it comes to senior dogs and their specific routines, whether they need extra breaks or gentle guidance. Puppies are absolutely no problem either! I truly love spending time with dogs of all ages and will treat yours with the same care and attention I give my own. Since I am on summer break from UMW, my schedule is very flexible. I can accommodate mid-day walks, early morning check-ins, or overnight house sitting to ensure your pet never feels lonely Every pet's safety is my top priority. Because I care for a senior dog myself, I am naturally observant of heavy panting and signs of discomfort, especially in the summer heat. I am just as vigilant with puppies, ensuring they don't pick up anything harmful on our walks and staying consistent on their routines as well. I know how much peace of mind matters, so I make sure to follow instructions perfectly and send plenty of updates so you know your pet is safe and having a good time.
