I have cared for dogs and all animals my entire life. I know how important it is to create and maintain lasting and true relationships with each of my clients. I have five years experience working at a veterinary clinic. I have helped care for brand new newborn puppies all the way up to senior pups, including medication Administration which includes diabetic pups. I have also helped care for wheelchair, bound pups, and pups that need help going to the bathroom. I have a 5 1/2 year-old mix who was rescued from the shelter at six months old. Her name is Maya and she is best friends with my 15 year old rescue cat Soffe. I always provide extensive notes and pictures after each one of my visits and absolutely love creating and maintaining Relationships with not only my clients, but their fur babies as well!

Safety, trust & environment
With my open schedule, I am selective about caring for pets in my home. This is just because I am out and about throughout the day and I always like to make sure that everyone is comfortable especially my own pets. I am fortunate enough that I can take my pup with me to most of my clients houses if I need to spend the night there, which Offers bigger flexibility, and me being able to provide in your home care or occasionally bringing pups to my house! I do have numerous trails around me to walk on, the beach is very close and I do have a gated back deck. I do not do any off leash walks with clients pups while I’m out in order to make sure that everybody is safe at all times. I typically also do not allow dogs to say hi to other dogs as well as people. There are very few extenuating circumstances where I know that dogs are familiar with other people in their neighborhoods, but to ensure safety first and foremost, I am always very careful! For me, making sure that everybody feels safe, calm, and happy. I have just found these practices to be extremely effective and have never had issues with clients!

Kelly did a wonderful job house sitting and watching my 10 year old dog! She was great with sending pictures and updates so that I never had to worry about anything! Would definitely book with her again in the future!!

Schedule
I work completely full-time, helping to care for peoples animals during the day and also housesit! I am so fortunate to have been able to move into the style of a job that really allows me flexibility and control of my life while meeting every single baby I possibly can! I take pride in knowing that I can be out during the day and run into many clients as well as getting numerous referrals, which is always such a testament to how my client feel about the care that they receive while they’re away!
