“Took Great care of my dog while providing constant updates. She also made him homemade treats from scratch. Definitely will leave my dog with her family again he enjoyed his stay and made friends.”

“Melanie is amazing! Not only does she provide photos throughout the day, but she is genuinely interested in your pet’s health and happiness. She made a great recommendation to help get our pup back to eating, after struggling for months to eat regularly. I highly recommend!”

“Danielle was incredibly accommodating and worked with me with a last second boarding request. She was very loving towards my dog and I wouldn't hesitate to book another appointment with her!”

“David was amazing and truly understanding. Our children had a track meet 4hrs away that went over in time by 3-4hrs. David’s flexibility to still provide loving care for our furbaby meant a lot to us.”

“Mrs. Rhonda was amazing with our dog bella. We went on vacation for 7 days and she always made sure to send me pics of bella and keep me updated. This was our first time using rover and leaving bella with anyone that long and im so glad we picked Mrs. Rhonda to watch bella for us, I would def recommend her!!🤗”

“Reiniza was so sweet with Gus and gave tons of updates. He absolutely loved his time with her and her family while we were on a trip and was utterly spoiled. It was so nice knowing he was in good hands”

“Amber and Dane were great hosts for our pup! He felt very welcomed in their home and had a great time playing with their dogs and kids! We’ll definitely book with them again.”
“Meagan was awesome! Especially with a last minute booking, she was available for meet and greet prior and asked and answered any questions with ease. Throughout the stay her communications were excellent and she sent great pictures. We didn’t worry on our trip because we knew Lyra was in great hands! We knew Lyra was treated as family while in her stay! Would 100 percent book her again!”

“I had a wonderful experience with Jordan. She worked with me on drop off/pick up times and she worked with my stand-offish, senior chihuahua. I really appreciate the time and care she took with my pup.”

“Lisa was the most accommodating and embracing of Ziggy as an additional member of her family. She went over and above to ensure both Ziggy and me were comfortable and provided pictures during his stay.”

“First two practice days were great! Disconcerting how quickly Leto seemed as excited about going there as he was at seeing me. As I was taking him early AM before we caught our plane for our 9 day trip he was up looking out the window in Jessica's neighborhood. Ran right up to the their door and ran in once opened. I checked in a few times while I was gone and Jessica was quick to respond and also sent me a few photos. He was certainly happy to see me when I picked him up but he was visibly comfortable in his "vacation" home. He was healthy and happy and I do not have any more concerns about leaving him. I know exactly who will take care of him. Thanks Jessica”

“MaryAnn and Franklin loved on our babies like they were their own. Our babies week initially unsure and quickly adjusted during theor stay. We received daily updates which was wonderful since it was our first time boarding our babies. We will definitely be asking MaryAnn and Franklin to watch our babies again and recommend them for you doggy day care or boarding.”

“Wendy was so great!!! I felt 100% comfy leaving my Ellie boo with her. She sent me sweet cuddling pictures while we were away and took the best care of our girl. She was loved on like family, no doubt about that. EXTRA thankful for her help getting in/out at pickup while I was SOLO in the weather🤣 the sweetest human. We will def be using Wendy in the future. 10/10 recommend!!”

“Bridgett and her family took excellent care of Bella. We felt very reassured that our puppy was in a loving family with the pictures and videos Bridgett sent, and with the the constant communication between us. We will definitely use Bridgett again. It’s so nice to know that we have a family we can trust with our puppy!”

“Cherry was wonderful! She provided tons of videos and photos of my two pups! Even with crazy travel issues, she was able to keep my dogs for longer than originally planned and gave me peace of mind as I navigated travel delays! Highly recommend her for watching your pets!”

“We had the absolute best experience with MaryKathryn and Sebastian. They treated our babies as if they were their own and were so understanding about our puppy doing puppy things. We got many photos and updates during our 8 day trip. We can’t thank them enough and we’re also excited because we will always ask them to watch our pups in the future!”

“From the first time meeting Rebecca and her family, I knew my lovely dog gibby, would be in amazing hands. I got updates all the time on how he's doing, and got pictures as well. Her kids are amazing, and played great with gibby. If you're looking for a dog sitter, I would highly recommend Rebecca.”

“We found our new Dog Sitter!! She was so good with our pups while visiting family out of town for 10 days. She let me know how they were doing frequently. You can tell she loves animals of any kind! Thank you Linda, we so appreciate your time and talents. Until next time.”

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with pets and have owned three wonderful dogs over the years—a Shetland Sheepdog, a Chocolate Labrador Retriever, and my current Terrier mix, Bandit. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I've volunteered with a local dog rescue and fostered dogs, giving me experience with a variety of breeds, ages, personalities, and temperaments. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with company, I'll make sure they receive the individualized care and attention they deserve. I'm also comfortable administering medications and following detailed care instructions to help keep your pet healthy, happy, and comfortable. I work full-time during the week. Because I want every pet in my care to receive plenty of attention, I offer boarding in my home on weekends, when I can dedicate my time to walks, playtime, cuddles, and maintaining your dog's normal routine. During the week, I offer drop-in visits for pets who need potty breaks, meals, walks, medication, or companionship while their owners are at work or away. This schedule allows me to provide dependable, attentive care while ensuring every pet gets the time and attention they deserve. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I'll carefully follow your pet's routine and keep you updated with daily photos and videos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. Because my dog, Bandit, will also be in the home during boarding stays, I require a meet-and-greet before accepting new boarding clients to ensure our dogs are comfortable together and are a good fit. My goal is to provide a safe, low-stress, loving environment where every dog feels welcome, secure, and cared for like family.

“Tayauna provided extraordinary services when caring for my cat, Lily Rose, while I was away on a trip. As many of us understand, it is not easy to be away from our beloved pets. Taya helped give me peace of mind through the daily updates and photos. She went above and beyond to provide the best care for Lily, and she blessed my heart as well. When returning, Lily was so happy and I believe the quality of attention and care that was given to her made all the difference. Thank you so much Taya! Lily is looking forward to spending time with again in the future, and I am beyond grateful to have a cat sitter who I can trust to do an excellent job. God bless you!”

“Rhiannon is our go to cat sitter! Our grumpy old man definitely takes some getting used to but she is always patient and takes time to be with him. Hope Rhiannon is always available when we are out of town!”

“Jordan was absolutely fantastic! She sent sooooo many pictures and videos of my chatty little old lady while my partner and I were traveling! Truly, I was so appreciative of the care she gave to my cat and how communicative she wad with me! She even took the litter out on trash days which was such a nice (and not required/ requested) gesture! I would 100% recommend Jordan and would re-book with her! Thank you so much!”

“Kaylie was absolutely wonderful with our cat Mischa. She took her time to give her extra love during her drop in visits. She gave very detailed reports and a collection of adorable pictures. Will definitely reach out to Kaylie when away next time!”

I recently moved to the area and still looking for a job that’s a good fit for me. In the meantime your pups will have all my free time! For dog sitting, I can guarantee multiple walks a day, all the love, attention and play time your pup needs. About: My home can offer you the level of care and attention you want for your pet. I’ve always believed dogs shouldn’t just be “checked on”—they deserve attention, interaction, and a sense of comfort while their owners are away. Your pet will be loved on as if he/she were my own. I’ve had dogs my whole life and have raised several from puppies through their senior years, including a rescue, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs and personalities. My home is very pet-friendly, with a large backyard for play and space to relax. I also have a 5-year-old lab and a young child, so safety is a top priority. I only accept dogs that are gentle and a good fit for a family environment. My goal is simple: to give your pet a safe, calm, and genuinely cared-for place that feels as close to home as possible. I am currently working part-time, so I am home frequently. Your pet won't be left alone for long periods of time. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm available 24/7 unless I am going out of town. I usually work Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 5pm-10pm. I prefer to do a meet and greet before boarding. I cant always accommodate last minute bookings, but don't hesitate to reach out. I have a large fenced in yard, one very playful 5 year old lab, and a friendly toddler. My dog has free rein of the house and yard. When I am home, I leave the back door open so she can come and go as she pleases. When I leave, I can separate the dogs and crate as needed.

I received photos and messages throughout both days and could tell my pup was having a good time (without me :( lol)”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I’ve cared for both dogs and cats alike for many years. Even though I’m new to professional pet sitting, I have plenty of experience caring for my own beloved pets and ensuring they are happy, healthy, and well-loved. I’m reliable, patient, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I would treat every pet with the utmost care and attention they deserve while you are away. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I love spending time with them and I am accustom to caring for them through my years of growing up with them. Including feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved. I have a flexible schedule and can dedicate time throughout the day to give pets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need while their owners are away. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. With my knack for attention to detail, I pay close attention to each pet’s routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special instructions provided by the owner. In a client’s home, I make sure pets stay in a familiar and stress-free environment while keeping the space clean and tidy. I’m patient, attentive, and understand the importance of respecting and building trust with both pets and their owners. My goal is to make every pet feel loved, safe, and well cared for.
“Marta and Conor were wonderful with Rosie. I really appreciated that they took her on shorter walks due to the hot weather but stayed the full time to play with her indoors and get her energy out! Their updates from each walk were so sweet to read. Thank you Marta and Conor!”

“Antonio was absolutely wonderful! He was dependable and flexible when my schedule changed which included a last minute weekend walk. He was really great with my dog, even bringing his own puppy so she would have a friend to walk with! Will definitely book again!!”

About: I have pet sat many times through my life, including puppies. I am very familiar with the puppy stage and how little sleep you get 🫣😴🥵 I have owned cats for the last ten years, including fosters. One of them was a geriatric cat, so I am familiar with administering meds to the most difficult of cats. I currently have an ex feral, so I am familiar with the patience needed to care for pets of all types. I currently work full time, so I am really only available for last minute trips or work on the weekends. I would love to be your regular day trip/weekend trip sitter! I will make sure your pet receives the type of love that they are used to receiving. I am a lover of all animals and I HATE leaving mine home alone, so I will make sure that even though they miss you, they will still know they are loved, cared for, fed, watered, and cleaned 🙂↔️💖
About: I have owned dogs my whole life and been dog sitting for 10 years. I work in a Vet hospital as well and love to care for animals of any age or size. I have been a Veterinary Assistant for 9 years but have now taken some time off so i am home everyday to ensure your pets get pleanty of love and affection and potty breaks!! I have the occasional errands to run but 90% of the time i am home! Pets are aloud on my furniture and bed! I have a fenced in backyard that your dog can play in with my crazy Boxer. Kennel trained is a must in my house as i don’t leave pets out while i am away!
About: I have experience with senior dogs, so I am comfortable with slow walks and can recognize signs of discomfort. I am extremely patient and understanding when it comes to senior dogs and their specific routines, whether they need extra breaks or gentle guidance. Puppies are absolutely no problem either! I truly love spending time with dogs of all ages and will treat yours with the same care and attention I give my own. Since I am on summer break from UMW, my schedule is very flexible. I can accommodate mid-day walks, early morning check-ins, or overnight house sitting to ensure your pet never feels lonely Every pet's safety is my top priority. Because I care for a senior dog myself, I am naturally observant of heavy panting and signs of discomfort, especially in the summer heat. I am just as vigilant with puppies, ensuring they don't pick up anything harmful on our walks and staying consistent on their routines as well. I know how much peace of mind matters, so I make sure to follow instructions perfectly and send plenty of updates so you know your pet is safe and having a good time.
About: I had previously stated in my profile, that I was called to animals since I was a little girl. I remember walking home from school and would gain the trust of a stray cat that followed me home. Animals of all species have been a staple in my childhood and adult home until this day. I am also a registered nurse whose specialty landed in senior care. I have a natural ability to connect with the elderly and understand the stage of life they are in and the psychology that comes with it. Through this, I have also been able to be a good advocate for my patients and their families. My husband and I currently have a senior cat that has cognitive decline that I was able to pick up on, as well as my suspicion of kidney disease. Through this knowledge, and with our vet, she is thriving now through patience and dedication.to her needs. This is not easy for us. But, she is our little girl. My nursing has also been an huge benefit to better serve and care for all of my little guys. Hamsters in my home have suffered all diseases from a stroke, cancer, kidney failure and heart failure etc. All of which received the best medical attention and best dedicated care until they crossed the rainbow bridge. I am grateful to see how my nursing has also enhanced my ability to better serve animals as well as humans. My heart is full of unconditional love and kindness. I am grateful to be of service to any walk of life. I have currently obtained a new nursing position within my expertise in senior care, allowing me the flexibility to work remote, since my journey moving forward needs to stay dedicated to serving animals, including my own. Our motto in this house is "these are our children, regardless of the size, they will be given the best life they deserve". We do have a fully fenced yard, though we currently do not have a dog. Any animal that comes in our care, will be treated the same as we treat our own. The cats, the chinchillas, and the hamsters can mingle amongst each other in our house. They actually each have a food bowl for each species side by side in the kitchen. The house is clean, the cages are clean and the environment is safe for any animal that enters. Time, dedication, discipline, love and patience exists in this house.
About: I’ve had a cat as part of my family since I was a child, so I am very comfortable with them. I volunteered at a cat cafe and cat club where I socialised with the cats and took care of them. While I have never personally owned a dog, my sister has two, so I have some experience with handling dogs. I am focusing on bettering myself and am out of school, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pets! During the week is preferable, but any time works. I will change my approach depending on the personality of your specific pet. For example, my cat is very shy and afraid of other people, but she likes having company, so I will sit by her while she hides.

About: I've loved dogs and cats my whole life and I have a good reproir with them. As a Rover sitter, I think it is important to give them lots of love and attention, and to keep them safe. A good sitter always keeps in mind how important people's pets are to them, and should make them feel at ease while they are away, and confident that thier babies are in good hands by communicating with them regularly and meeting all of thier needs. I have many repeating clients, and thier pets have become like family members to me over the years. We are always happy to see each other, but also sad when it's time to leave. My most cherished achievement was when I trained my friend's Dotson (Titus) with a fun snack-training system and prepared him for the dog Olympics tournament in Ohio, in which he came first place. I taught Titus to jump and spin, dance and roll-over and etc by directing his motions with the snack and repeating the commands until the snacks were no longer necessary. I used three brands of treats: Bronze treats (hard food); silver treats (soft dog snacks); and gold treats (a piece of white meat. It took a lot of repetition and patience, but after a couple of months, he became the most clever and talented dog i've ever trained. I also taught him to sing "Walk Like A Man" by The 4 Seasons. I work part-time in the early evening at Bach To Rock, which makes it easy to feed the dogs in the morning and at night. I also get gaps in my teaching schedule which allows me to drop in and take them for a walk or let them out if necessary. I also substitute teach which allows me to make my own schedule and that makes it easier for me to spend plenty of time taking care of people's pets when I have bookings. My other job is very close by so commuting is convenient as well. The safety and well-being of the pets is my top priority. Their emotional well-being is important too. Dogs get anxious and even depressed when their owners leave so it's my job to keep them comfortable and entertained. When I'm staying at a client's house, I make sure to keep doors shut and stay mindful when going in and out so they don't run out or get into anything they're not supposed to. I always make sure to ask about the layout of the house and the backyard, so they cant run off. When I'm walking them, I avoid stopping and talking with other people who are walking their pets, and I always make sure I know how their leash or harness goes on so they don't slip out of it. And then if they take meds, I set an alarm on my phone with a reminder note.

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Brittany! This was my first time ever leaving Ash overnight, and I was such a nervous Nelly about being away from him. Brittany immediately put all of my worries at ease. She sent me adorable photos and updates throughout his stay, and it was so clear that he was happy, comfortable, and being incredibly well cared for. She truly treated Ash like he was part of her own family, which meant the absolute world to me. Knowing he was receiving so much love and attention allowed me to relax and actually enjoy my time away. I would trust Brittany with Ash again in a heartbeat and cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“Esther was so great! She kept me updated with pictures and notes through the weekend and was flexible with pick up when my flight was delayed! Plus, her big back yard and her own, sweet pup made for a great stay!”
