About: I have trained both of my corgis myself and volunteered at animal shelters for a few years in Texas and Florida, I love animals and being around them. I am in the Navy and am currently in a holding period so I only work an hour every day leaving me plenty of time to care for your babies and my own! I have a huge free open field behind my apartment perfect for long walks or playing! My two corgis are also very friendly and love other dogs! I can also crate them if that’s needed!

About: Hi, I’m Autumn! I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. Friends and family have always used me as their go to person that they trust with their animals. I also have a cat of my own, so I’m very comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and understand their different personalities. I know every pet has their own personality and I love getting to know what makes each one unique. I work at a local bakery full time from 7am to 3pm, so I’m regularly available in the afternoons, evenings, and all day Mondays and Tuesdays. With a little advance notice I can often be flexible outside of those hours as well. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can be stressful so my goal is to make the experience as comfortable as possible for the both of you. When you trust me with your pet you can expect lots of photo updates and someone who will truly love and care for them as if they were my own. I also understand the importance of treating every home with the same respect and care that I would expect for mine.

About: I've been a lover of animals all my life and have worked with service dogs in training. I will treat animals as if they are my own! I am an architecture college student staying in Va Beach for the summer! I have total availability to give any and all pets the love and time that they need. I will not be able to care for pups in my home. I have spent the spring semester training a pup to eventually become a service dog!

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I do currently have 2 chiweenies who I adopted 8 years ago. They bring so much joy to my life. I am a elementary school teacher so I am available most of the time during summer snd spring break. While your dogs are at my house they will get to go on daily walks and even visit the dog park where we can play fetch and run in my apartment complex. Also while your dogs are enjoying their stay they are able to go on furniture. Overnight visits are for weekends and summer break when I dont have work. I can not wait to meet your fur baby! Ask me anything if you have questions, I will be happy to answer. I work Sept to June till 3pm. In the summers I am home all day! So I am able to pay attention to your pet all day I have a crate for those dogs who need separating. Dogs are allowed to roam the whole apartment. And if dos need seperating I can put in different rooms

About: Hello, my name is Deanna. I have had dogs and cats my entire life, and I have 4 years of professional animal handling experience. I’ve been managing a doggy daycare and boarding facility in Virginia Beach for 3 years, and worked as a kennel attendant at the same place for 1 year prior to stepping into management. I’ve handled dogs of all sizes, temperaments, ages, and medical needs. In addition to dog handling I have also had hands on experience with cats and birds/reptiles/and small mammals. I am familiar with dog and cat first aid, and comfortable+knowledgable on administering medications and injectables such as insulin. I am leaving my full time animal care job to start school, and that gives me the ability to set my own schedule and continue to work with animals. I have my own 3 pets, 2 of them being reactive rescues, one of which I have fully obedience trained myself. I am very comfortable going slow with nervous dogs, and handling big excited dogs! I love working with animals and I hope you consider me to care for your pets. I am starting school in the fall, but only have morning/evening classes so I am free early mornings/ mid afternoons/ and evenings. I will be very open in communications with you as far as scheduling and availability. I have managed a facility of over 100+ dogs for the last several years, so I would go into it with the experience I’ve gained from working within this field. Ensuring there is nothing unsafe within reach of the pets in your home when no one is there, following your directions to a T for your care preferences, and communicating with owners to ensure and safe and comfortable environment for your pets whether it’s in home sitting or just walks.

About: I have owned dogs since I was 14. I currently have 2 dogs of my own. I also volunteer with animals and have dog sat for several friends over the years. I love cats but have not babysat any, only loved them at others homes. I currently work full time but mostly from home. Some days I am out in the world but usually for no more than 6 hours at a time. Majority of work hours are Monday - Friday 8-5 Pets have free range at home unless they need to be crated. Have a fenced in backyard and can also walk dogs if preferred. Large neighborhood to walk them around. Also have a responsible teenage daughter who can help with feedings and bathroom breaks. Trash can is in the pantry for little to no access.

I currently have free full time availability as I am taking online college classes, I am available anyday anytime Monday-Sunday to help love and care for your pets. I follow all feeding instructions carefully, make sure they always have fresh water, give medications if needed, and keep their space clean. (I used to work in a veterinary office.) I spend quality time with them through walks, playtime, and gentle attention so they don’t feel lonely or stressed. I also watch closely for any changes in behavior or health and communicate updates to the owner so they feel at ease.

About: I've loved dogs and cats my whole life and I have a good reproir with them. As a Rover sitter, I think it is important to give them lots of love and attention, and to keep them safe. A good sitter always keeps in mind how important people's pets are to them, and should make them feel at ease while they are away, and confident that thier babies are in good hands by communicating with them regularly and meeting all of thier needs. I have many repeating clients, and thier pets have become like family members to me over the years. We are always happy to see each other, but also sad when it's time to leave. My most cherished achievement was when I trained my friend's Dotson (Titus) with a fun snack-training system and prepared him for the dog Olympics tournament in Ohio, in which he came first place. I taught Titus to jump and spin, dance and roll-over and etc by directing his motions with the snack and repeating the commands until the snacks were no longer necessary. I used three brands of treats: Bronze treats (hard food); silver treats (soft dog snacks); and gold treats (a piece of white meat. It took a lot of repetition and patience, but after a couple of months, he became the most clever and talented dog i've ever trained. I also taught him to sing "Walk Like A Man" by The 4 Seasons. I work part-time in the early evening at Bach To Rock, which makes it easy to feed the dogs in the morning and at night. I also get gaps in my teaching schedule which allows me to drop in and take them for a walk or let them out if necessary. I also substitute teach which allows me to make my own schedule and that makes it easier for me to spend plenty of time taking care of people's pets when I have bookings. My other job is very close by so commuting is convenient as well. The safety and well-being of the pets is my top priority. Their emotional well-being is important too. Dogs get anxious and even depressed when their owners leave so it's my job to keep them comfortable and entertained. When I'm staying at a client's house, I make sure to keep doors shut and stay mindful when going in and out so they don't run out or get into anything they're not supposed to. I always make sure to ask about the layout of the house and the backyard, so they cant run off. When I'm walking them, I avoid stopping and talking with other people who are walking their pets, and I always make sure I know how their leash or harness goes on so they don't slip out of it. And then if they take meds, I set an alarm on my phone with a reminder note.
