About: I’ve taught middle school for 10 years, so if I can handle that, your lovely pet(s) will not be a problem at all. I absolutely adore dogs, cats, and animals in general. I’m a quick learner, I always have safety in mind, and I have an incredible amount of patience and energy! It would be a pleasure to hang out with your pet! As a former teacher who’s decided to make a shift into a slower lifestyle, I am 100% dedicated to Rover at this time. I am organized and responsible, and I have excellent time management skills. I will be prompt and attentive to the needs of your pet(s). I look forward to spending time with your dog(s) and/or cat(s). I’ve been caring for pets through Rover for 5 years now, and I’m always attentive and loving, essentially how I would want people to be with my pets. I have two perfect cats that I love and spoil. My boys, Milo and Murphy, are getting up in age, but I’m proud to say I’ve been a consistent and caring cat mom throughout their lives and will continue to do so. I’ll be sure to treat your pet(s) as I do my own. I aim to be patient and kind in everything I do, so the well-being and safety of your pet(s) will be no exception.
“Ashley did a great job. She was on time twice a day for a whole week and walked Bruce at least one mile during each visit. Will definitely ask her to walk our pup again.”

“She enjoys dogs and was caring for Holly! She was interested in getting the dog to know her, I would definitely call her to care for my precious dog again!”

About: Since middle school I have dog walked, house/pet sat, and cared for animals. it is my FAVORITE gig. The last 4 years I have cat-sat from January-April for a kitty who just this year moved south, so I have been missing the animal love. My family has always had cats and dogs, and I’ve cared for deaf dogs, dogs of every size, and cats for years. I have been told that when I leave a house sitting gig, the animals are very calm and relaxed when their parents arrive home. I am currently a full-time student doing an internship locally. I will have various availability but look forward to making sure I meet your scheduling needs! I travel occasionally on weekends as well. Nights and early mornings are my most accessible time. However you care for your animals at home I will do my best to do the same! Whatever they need and are allowed I am willing to work with (:
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets and critter friends for over 10 years. Friends, family, neighbors, and neighbors' friends and families have relied on me to walk, sit, bathe, play, and provide love and compassion to their animals. It brings me much joy to be able to share the same love and energy from pets as their parents do :333 I’m currently working part time as a muay thai instructor with dreams and aspirations of becoming a professional fighter! I train and coach Muay Thai at East Side Muay Thai. My training and coaching schedule allows me to choose a work schedule that supplements my needs without sacrificing my training and coaching hours! I have caring experience in friends and families homes and check off all the tasks and routines they normally have implemented for their fur-children, while leaving their space and pet better off than I found it.

“Shannon was really lovely as a dog walker. She was flexible and communicative and my dog enjoyed his walks with her, he was always excited to see her come for pick up. She worked extra hard to overcome some of his quirks. Thanks, Shannon!”

About: I have experience with senior dogs, so I am comfortable with slow walks and can recognize signs of discomfort. I am extremely patient and understanding when it comes to senior dogs and their specific routines, whether they need extra breaks or gentle guidance. Puppies are absolutely no problem either! I truly love spending time with dogs of all ages and will treat yours with the same care and attention I give my own. Since I am on summer break from UMW, my schedule is very flexible. I can accommodate mid-day walks, early morning check-ins, or overnight house sitting to ensure your pet never feels lonely Every pet's safety is my top priority. Because I care for a senior dog myself, I am naturally observant of heavy panting and signs of discomfort, especially in the summer heat. I am just as vigilant with puppies, ensuring they don't pick up anything harmful on our walks and staying consistent on their routines as well. I know how much peace of mind matters, so I make sure to follow instructions perfectly and send plenty of updates so you know your pet is safe and having a good time.

I can pick up on behavior quickly and would love to take care of them in an environment they know and already love. I would love to meet them ahead of time to establish trust.
“Tamra is wonderful. As soon as she arrived my dog took right to her as if they were long lost friends. Due to his reaction to her, I felt completely safe having her take Mouse out for a walk. I am looking forward to continuing weekly (if not bi-weekly) walks with Tamra.”

About: I've had a family dog my whole life (German Shepard and Lab) and now have one of my own (lab puppy). She's great with other dogs and would love someone to hang out with on my days off. I live in an apt with no yard but in short walking distance to dog park and several grassy areas. I only work 3 days a week so have 4 days where I can be of use to the pets and make sure they have their needs met. I work at the hospital 3 days a week so I have 4 days free to use however I please. I have a puppy of my own so I am very accustomed to frequent potty breaks, play time and longer walks. 1 friendly puppy and nearby grassy areas and dog parks for off leash fun. Love taking longer walks to explore the city several times a day
