We are from out of town and had a hiccup just days before the start of our Virginia Beach vacation when our local sitter became unavailable to watch our two pups. I was in a bit of a panic, with only a few days left to secure arrangements. I was so fortunate to find and connect with Cynthia! Because we live several hours away, we could not do a prior meet-and-greet, which initially made me a bit nervous. However, we were able to chat on the phone before confirming the reservation, and any worries I had quickly disappeared as Cynthia had a lot of knowledge and experience with dog care, routines, and special quirks. At drop-off, we met Cynthia's husband, who was also very welcoming. He reassured us that our pups would be in good hands. As I write this review, I can confidently say that they absolutely were in the best of hands! From the photos and updates we received, we could see our pups were happy, relaxed, and quickly bonding with the family. About: I’ve had indoor-outdoor cats most of my life. I’ve also had my fair share of indoor cats as well. I have my own cat now. I’ve had her for about two years now. Very comfortable with cutting cats' claws. I’m very comfortable with cats that are kind of not about people. I also had a diabetic cat growing up. I feel comfortable with that.

My schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm available 24/7 unless I am going out of town. I usually work Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 5pm-10pm. I prefer drop offs no earlier than 8am, but I can accommodate if needed. I prefer to do a meet and greet before overnight boarding. About: I’ve taken care of dogs ever since I was a child. Not only did my family own dogs growing up, I volunteered at a shelter in college. Friends, family, and neighbors alike have trusted me to care for their pets. My company allows be to work remote; therefore, pet care fits naturally into my routine. The last 4 years I have cat-sat from January-April for a kitty who just this year moved south, so I have been missing the animal love. “Hannah took great care of our dog while we were away. She sent us so many pictures and updates, took him on long “sniffaris,” and even took care of a little wound near his ear. Hannah is an experienced, caring, and dedicated sitter who clearly puts a lot of time and attention into the dogs she looks after. We felt very comfortable knowing he was in such good hands!”
“Stacy was great and made sure my little dude was comfortable at her house; as he can be very anxious in a new place. She had homemade treats and did a doggy painting for the 4th of July (so the dog(s) can be distracted during fireworks). I will definitely be booking with her again!”
“My girl had a great experience. We had a great meet and greet and communication leading up to the stay was excellent. I was very nervous leaving Aly partly because she’s a year old and “mostly a good puppy” and I didn’t want her to be a problem. Also have never left any of my dogs with someone I didn’t know. Mikaelan was wonderful about responding to all of my “How is she?” texts with updates and photos which gave me so much peace of mind. By day 2 I was able to relax and I still received daily reports about Aly’s adventures with her temporary humans and new BFFs. Aly came home happy and tired. I really appreciated the care and communication”

It was clear from the pictures she sent and the little guy's waggy tail when I picked him up that he enjoyed hanging out with Kari and her bf - he even got a picnic day at the park and fun at the dog park. Kari is responsive and easy to communicate with and was able to add another day when I needed it. Really a great place for a dog to hang on doggie vacay.”
