About: I recently got married and moved to the area. I’m a Virginia tech animal science grad. I have worked in a boarding and daycare facility the past 2 years. I also have some dog training experience from college and in the kennel facility. Upon request I can offer training sessions for your pups. About: I’ve sat for my friends dogs over the years and they have relied on me when they go on vacation . My house is dog friendly very spacious with lots of room to roam . We also have a big patio your pup can run around and do they’re necessities . I’m a stay at home mom who will occasionally work some nights which my husband and young adults are here and they too will watch over your pup . My two boys are 18 and 24 and they are dog lovers aswell. My dog graham is pet friendly but is very chill . He’s 8 years old plays catch and fetch and loves to just roam around the house and nap ! I stay home during the day and work an occasional weekend 7-11pm . My husband and adult children will be here as well to watch over your pup .i do have a crate if needed for running errands . With that being said i would prefer a dog that can stay alone and be house trained for a few hours . I have a schedule when dogs come over . We play ,go on walks take nap brakes all depending on your dogs schedule . My dog is house trained . I will cater to your dogs needs and it won’t interfere with graham since he’s very self sufficient. He’s an older pup and very trained . He lets me know when he needs to go potty and obeys my every command .with that being said I would prefer a pup with some training . I cannot take dogs that mount . (Jump on other dogs ) the pup has to get along with other dogs . I can definitely separately small dogs from large ones if needed . I also prefer to have a meet and greet before we can sit for your fur baby . My home is very spacious and dog friendly . My yard is huge and fenced in . My yard also has a huge pool and it is not gated . Dogs have to able to play around the pool without jumping in . Also I prefer a potty trained pup and they have to get along well with other dogs as I will sometimes host up to 4 dogs at a time . 4 is my limit.I don’t have any small children everyone here is an adult and can handle your dog with much love and care .i do require a meet & greet before caring for your pup to assure he’s the right fit for you and our family .

I am currently working part-time, so I am home frequently. Your pet won't be left alone for long periods of time. My schedule is pretty flexible, so I'm available 24/7 unless I am going out of town. I usually work Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 5pm-10pm. I prefer to do a meet and greet before boarding. I cant always accommodate last minute bookings, but don't hesitate to reach out. I have a large fenced in yard, one very playful 5 year old lab, and a friendly toddler. My dog has free rein of the house and yard. When I am home, I leave the back door open so she can come and go as she pleases. When I leave, I can separate the dogs and crate as needed.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 5 years old. My grandmother ran a rescue shelter for about 12 years. I’ve owned 4 dogs in my lifetime. I am currently self employed. About: I've loved dogs and cats my whole life and I have a good reproir with them. As a Rover sitter, I think it is important to give them lots of love and attention, and to keep them safe. A good sitter always keeps in mind how important people's pets are to them, and should make them feel at ease while they are away, and confident that thier babies are in good hands by communicating with them regularly and meeting all of thier needs. I have many repeating clients, and thier pets have become like family members to me over the years. We are always happy to see each other, but also sad when it's time to leave. My most cherished achievement was when I trained my friend's Dotson (Titus) with a fun snack-training system and prepared him for the dog Olympics tournament in Ohio, in which he came first place. I taught Titus to jump and spin, dance and roll-over and etc by directing his motions with the snack and repeating the commands until the snacks were no longer necessary. I used three brands of treats: Bronze treats (hard food); silver treats (soft dog snacks); and gold treats (a piece of white meat. It took a lot of repetition and patience, but after a couple of months, he became the most clever and talented dog i've ever trained. I also taught him to sing "Walk Like A Man" by The 4 Seasons. I work part-time in the early evening at Bach To Rock, which makes it easy to feed the dogs in the morning and at night. I also get gaps in my teaching schedule which allows me to drop in and take them for a walk or let them out if necessary. I also substitute teach which allows me to make my own schedule and that makes it easier for me to spend plenty of time taking care of people's pets when I have bookings. My other job is very close by so commuting is convenient as well. The safety and well-being of the pets is my top priority. Their emotional well-being is important too. Dogs get anxious and even depressed when their owners leave so it's my job to keep them comfortable and entertained. When I'm staying at a client's house, I make sure to keep doors shut and stay mindful when going in and out so they don't run out or get into anything they're not supposed to. I always make sure to ask about the layout of the house and the backyard, so they cant run off. When I'm walking them, I avoid stopping and talking with other people who are walking their pets, and I always make sure I know how their leash or harness goes on so they don't slip out of it. And then if they take meds, I set an alarm on my phone with a reminder note.
About: I have trained both of my corgis myself and volunteered at animal shelters for a few years in Texas and Florida, I love animals and being around them. I am in the Navy and am currently in a holding period so I only work an hour every day leaving me plenty of time to care for your babies and my own! Linda took special care to include cooking our dog an egg to get her to start eating after our dog refused to eat in our absence. Linda kept in touch with personal updates and pics. Linda is highly attuned to animals and innately knows how to handle pets. Upon pick-up time, our Samoyed was fresh, clean and had a very happy disposition!”

“We were traveling between Florida and Connecticut, as we do four times a year, and for the first time stayed with family in the Virginia Beach area. Our two dogs could not stay with us so we contacted Rover and found Jordan. Without hesitation she agreed to watch Izzy and Nelly. Jordan took care of our 15 year old senior Izzy, with health issues, and lovingly cared for her. Our ten year old Nelly was happy and well looked after. We very much appreciate the contacts and photos Jordan sent us and felt very relieved that our pets were well taken care of. Our expectations for the future is to pass through Virginia Beach every October and May and we will cetainly contact Jordan for these trips. She surpassed our expectations.”
