“Tammy looked after our Border Terrier, Moose, for a couple of nights. We wanted to have a 'trial run' for longer stays to give Tammy the opportunity to get to know Moose and familiarise herself with our house. We thought our trial run was a roaring success. Tammy was a delight to have in our home and Moose clearly adored her. We felt confident that Tammy would respect our home, and care for Moose as we would ourselves - no mean feat as he is a bit neurotic and epileptic. We have now booked another, longer, stay with Tammy and we will be able to go away knowing that Moose is in very safe and kind hands.”

“Vishu did a great job looking after Sonny my Samoyed. When I got home he was very happy and relaxed. Vishu kept me updated regularly and was always polite and reliable. I would not hesitate to use Vishu again”

About: I have grown up with dogs my whole life, they have mostly been rescues and larger to middle dog breeds. I am confident and calm around dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I also have a little experience with cats and small dog breeds which have mostly been family pets. I have some experience in basic training and I can connect well with dogs who need that little bit of extra time, attention and patience. I have this experience because my family dog who's 13 has Cushing's disease and has issues with her back legs. I have a lot of experience with German Shepard's (my old girl is a German Shepard cross) and Collie's, but I would love to expand my experience with other dog breeds and also cats ☺️ I am currently on summer break for university so my schedule if currently very open and flexible. I spend most of my time reading, walking, or going to the gym which means that I will be able to give your fur baby/babies plenty of time and attention they need. I'm available for walks and/or pop-ins most weekdays and weekends, including short notice bookings. However, my schedule will change a bit once university starts back up but it won't change drastically. I'm happy to follow your pet's usual routine, do a bit of training with them if needed, use crates if needed/requested. I will also provide you with regular updates and pictures so that you can feel relaxed, confident and connected while you are away. I hold a full, clean driving license just in case of any emergencies or vet visits.

“Fernanda looked after Rumi for the day and was perfect! She came over prior to the booked day to meet us and get familiar with Rumi's routine and he took to her instantly. Fernanda wasn't afraid to ask questions and kept me updated whilst she was here with photos and messages which was really appreciated. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Fernanda and also, book her again to sit Rumi.”

About: I have cared for many different animals growing up, from dogs, cats, and bunnies, to hamsters, rats, birds, and currently tortoises. I have also helped my Grandfather hand-rear calf's when separated from their mothers, as well as helping birth them when necessary. I have lots of knowledge about caring for many different animals, as well as being trusted to care for housemates' pets, neighbours' pets, and family pets. I adopted my very own kitten in 2018 and he is thriving, and have had 7 pet rats of my own across the course of 5 years. I am also no stranger to cleaning up after animals, as this is something I have been doing ever since owning them. Furthermore, I was an active member on BorrowMyDoggy, and walked plenty of dogs whilst being on the site. I have recently finished a college diploma in social science and I am due to begin University in September to study Forensic Psychology. Until then, I am doing my best to fill my summer with paid work that fits me and my passions. I am available 24/7, excluding the odd day for anomaly appointments and such. As summer is creeping up on us, I am sure many of you will require sitters for your pets whilst you are on your beautiful holidays, which I would be grateful to do for you. I cannot reside pets in my current home due to house sharing; however, should you choose me to care for your animals in your own homes, I will follow strict regimes if necessary (such as gates, crates, no pets on sofa's or in certain rooms). For animals such as tortoises, I understand fresh water and roughly 2 hours of heat lamp per day is needed (unless otherwise is specified).

“Max was a great sitter for my dogs and he sent me frequent updates & pictures. Max and Scout looked like they enjoyed their time him and he made sure they were secure when it was time for him to leave. Would definitely recommend Max.”

About: I've had 2 cats now for the last 3-4 years and working from home have looked after them. Additionally I have looked after a small puppy when it's owners were away in the past and my parents have a dog that I have looked after/taken for walks etc. With 2 cats I have to make sure they are fed daily, along with ensuring they are well groomed, are up to date on their treatments and they litter is clean. Ensuring they have everything they need e.g. food/water/clean litter. Making sure they get play time and rubs if they want them and ensuring their eating/litter areas are clean.

“We are so happy and very impressed with Reece when he recently looked after our Cocker Spaniel, Boris, at our home. Reece is such a genuine, kind and calm person who loves dogs. Boris who suffers with separation anxiety, after one day was climbing on Reece’s knee for a cuddle, as he felt safe, secure and loved. Boris enjoyed all his long walks and Reece was able to deal with his problem of pulling towards cars and barking in a calm and reassuring way. We were in touch every day by Whatsapp and received videos and photos which was very reassuring as we had never left him with anyone before, other than our sons. Our cottage on our return was immaculate, we would thoroughly recommend Reece and will 100% definitely use him again and I think Boris will be very happy to see him, his new best friend. Thank you Reece! 🐶🙏”

About: I’ve lived with terriers since the age of 5, and have had a significant hand in their care since I was 11. When I was younger, I would often be in charge of smaller jobs in the care of our terrier Dave e.g walks, teaching tricks, feeding with occasional times where I would be left with Dave to take care of him for the day if my parents were busy. Since around the age of 16, I got more involved in leading the care of Dave, mainly monitoring and taking care of him as he was struggling with liver cancer, providing regular updates and checks on his physical health to my parents until he passed in 2020. When we got two terrier puppies - Tucker and Ruby, I was a very significant part of their care, taking the lead in their behavioural and social training, as well as helping with toilet training. Since getting my driving licence, I have also had a significant hand in their medical care, taking them to their vet appointments when I’m home. I have pet sit for friends occasionally for a range of animals; from cats, to horses, to fish and even to bearded dragons! I most recently did a 3 week stint of pet sitting for a uni lecturer and their lovely rescue collie Tiny, who suffers from quite bad anxiety, but became quite comfortable with me quite quickly! (see profile pic!) Taking care of Tiny was so fulfilling, so I’d love to carry on meeting and taking care of people’s gorgeous furry (or scaly!) friends. I’m currently on Summer break from uni, so I have quite a bit of free time. However, I also work part time/ad hoc jobs performing (I will be performing at Thorpe Park fright nights this Autumn!) so my schedule tends to differ from week to week. My calendar will most likely be up to date, so please refer to that! As I said above, I have terriers. Terriers can also be described as stubborn little humans with a keen interest in escaping and running as fast as possible if they sense for the slightest second that it’s an option. This means that I’m well versed in finding escape routes and either closing them off, or watching like a hawk. This also means that I know how important engaging with animals and keeping them interested in staying safe with you through various methods can be. I always want to make animals feel safe with me, so I try to make a calm and welcoming environment when I meet new animals, and alter my behaviour based on how they respond to me.
