“Alexandra took wonderful care of our cats for 3 days. Her love of animals is so apparent. Both cats loved hanging out with her, even our sometimes surly cat Mr. Mox. She stayed for longer than the 40 minutes, playing with them and making sure everything was clean and that they were set for the rest of the day. The pictures she sent proved how happy and relaxed the cats were with her We will definitely rebook the next time we need help!”

“Took really good care of my fur babies and was conscientious and tidy in my apartment. Loved the updates and photos! I will definitely re-book and it made me very comfortable in a stressful work event that I knew my cats were taken care of, especially my newly diabetic cat!”

About: I have been a pet lover and caretaker my entire life, growing up with dogs, cats, and reptiles, and helping out with my neighbor's farm animals. I have three years experience dog-walking, and another two years experience volunteering at a local animal shelter. I have cared for animals of all stripes (and spots), with various temperaments, activity levels, ages, and medical needs. I work from home Tuesday-Thursday with plenty of time for walks, cuddles, and attention! My weekends are also open. I take pet care very seriously, and will devote the time and attention your fuzzy baby needs to feel comfortable and cared for. I have a car and can do pick ups before 11:00 AM and drop off after 7:00 PM. I live in a safe, walkable neighborhood with lots of parks and sidewalks for outdoor time. My kitten grew up with other animals before adoption and will welcome all creatures big and small.
“Daniel was an excellent drop-in visitor and playmate for our cat Georgie. We really appreciated his friendliness, prompt communication, and genuine affection for our cat. Bonus points for his availability short notice during holiday season as well! We’d definitely recommend Daniel.”

About: Hi My name is Julie & I’ve been an animal lover all my life. I’ve always had dogs since childhood and now am a proud dog mom to an adorable 10 year old rescue mix. He happily stays with family while I pamper and care for your pet in the comfort of their home environment. I recently decided to turn my passion for animals into a career and would be honored to be trusted to care for your fur baby as if they were my own. Dogs and cats seem to gravitate naturally towards me, I’m able to win over even the shyest pets and love doing so. I am currently working part-time with a highly flexible schedule, allowing me ample time to give your furry friend the love and attention they deserve. As a massage therapist, I bring a gentle touch to my pet care, ensuring your pup receives plenty of petting, belly rubs, and ear scratches—if they enjoy that kind of affection. I prioritize their comfort and well-being, adjusting my daily routine to meet the specific needs of your pet. Whether it's taking them for long, leisurely walks or adhering to a strict feeding schedule, I am dedicated to providing the best care. Additionally, I am experienced in administering medications, ensuring that your pet’s health is always in good hands. Your pup will feel pampered and loved while you are away!
About: I've lived with animals since I was 11—including 3 cats and a dog—and my mom has always adopted senior pets with medical needs, so I’m used to gentle care, giving medications, and adapting routines for older or anxious animals. I'm calm, quiet, and patient, which makes me a great match for pets that are shy, reactive, or need a soft presence. I respect animals’ boundaries, take their comfort seriously, and genuinely enjoy being around them—whether that means walks, playtime, or just existing together in peace. I'm especially good with cats and have experience with dogs who need space or structure. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I have a flexible schedule and prefer part-time work, so I can prioritize animals without feeling rushed. I take my time, move at the pet’s pace, and always make space for their needs. I prioritize calm, quiet, and consistency when coming to clients homes. I respect each animal's space, follow all care instructions exactly, and check in often if something seems off. My goal is to make sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and understood at all times.
“Tricia was fantastic. She was able to help out last minute, and was very flexible with the timing of visits. Each visit she sent lots of pictures of our 3 kitties, which was great! She took great care of our cats while we were away, and I would not hesitate to recommend her.”

“I can’t say enough great things about Morgan. Tony and Maple love her. She is wonderful with them, and I feel completely at ease leaving them in her care. Tony is a quirky dog, and she tends to every need he has, paying close attention. Both dogs adore her, and it shows by how happy and relaxed they are when they see her. She’s extremely reliable and always shows up on time. On top of that, she’s completely focused on whatever the dogs need. I especially love that after every visit, she provides thoughtful updates, including bathroom breaks, activities, and how much they’ve eaten, which is very helpful.”

“Ashley took great care in looking after our cat while we were gone for the weekend. She has been super easy to connect with, reliable, and easy to talk to, keeping me updated frequently. She shared some photos of her time here as well, its always nice to see your pets being loved while you aren't there to do it. I would highly recommend Ashley to anyone looking for someone too care for their pets.”

About: I got my first dog when I was 10. She was a puppy when I got her and was the love of my life. She taught me responsibility, patience, love, gentleness, and kindness. In my adulthood I fostered a sweet dog for two years before I had my children. Now I’m a single mom who is looking to help care for your dog during the times my children are not with me. I’m a single mom on a parenting schedule. I would care for your pet on the weekends my children are with their dad. During that time I would be readily available and have a lot of flexibility. I can easily come to your home and care for your pet as requested. I live in a single family home with a walking trail across the street. No fenced yard.
“longfei and Luning are so helpful taking care my cat. Everything is done professionally and friendly. Most importantly, she seems to be happy. Will definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and grown up taking care of them. I’ve cared for small and large dogs, enjoy spending time with them, and giving them the best possible care. I am currently a student and work part time, but I only have class in the morning and work from home a majority of the time I enjoy spending quality time with the pets and make sure their safety comes first. Easily reachable on my cell if there’s any issues or concerns. I have a small fenced backyard area to let the dogs roam and enjoy time outside. No children, other pets, or other cautionary exposures for the animals.

About: I have always been that guy on the street asking to pet your dog. I love my 2 year old Doxin mutt, and I am ready to share a bit of that love with other dogs. I am available most week days and considering my dog has gone for 10 mile walks, I can handle a solid walk with yours! I have played sports all my life and love to be outdoors. I have worked as a manager for the last 4 years of my life and I am looking to do something that makes me happy and if dogs do not make you happy then I am really unsure of what possibly can. I will take all the photos you would like of your puppy when I am with them since I would love them to put a smile on your face as they do mine. I work mostly evenings but my young daughter and I are free and together most of the days while my wife is at work. So the two of us love to go on adventures to go walk pooches or just be outside. We are mostly free mornings and middays however, since I am off Sunday Monday those days we are free for anything. I want to make dogs feel welcome in my home so I will do whatever they need to be comfortable between walks and playing or relaxing. We have lots of beds and rugs and sunny spots and we all love getting out of the house to be active. Every single dog is different but most all them love some good scratches.
“Gianna was super communicative and attentive, she did a great job taking care of our nervous puppy and making sure he had the best experience for his first Rover visit. She was also so thoughtful about small details, like cleaning his Kong toy and bringing in packages, which goes such a long way :) will book again!”

“Danyel was great! She was very friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. She is obviously an animal lover and made me feel comfortable right away. I loved the pictures she sent. My cat loved her!”

Diana is a star! She was great with our 2 pups who can be reactive to new people and her calm, confident demeanor put them at ease almost immediately. Diana is warm, highly skilled at handling big dogs who need special behavioral attention, and even trained the pups during her stay! She’s professional, communicative, and brings lots of good energy. The pups were noticeable calmer and very happy when we returned. Can’t wait to hire Diana again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Sudbury with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
