Pet care experience
Broke grad student missing her pets
I’ve had dogs my whole life but now I only get to see them on holidays because my parents moved to Iowa. I’ve sat for dogs as small as a dachshund to as big as a bull mastiff. I also had a dog of my own with diabetes and epilepsy so I know how to administer insulin and other meds. I also helped train my parents two current dogs when they were puppies by bell training and rewarding with small treats when they go to the bathroom outside.
Qualifications
Safety, trust & environment
I let my dogs sleep in the bed with me and up on the couch with me, but when they were puppies we crate trained them. I love a cuddly dog or cat. When my dogs get crazy I play with them on the floor or out in the yard. As long as you leave clear instructions, I can train/interact with them however you see fit.
Ratings and reviews
Haley has watched our pets a few times!

Every time we plan a vacation, we make sure to check whether Haley will be available to take care of our shepherd during those dates of our absence. She is very caring and reliable. We told our closest friends about our experience, and they asked us to give them a way to get in touch with Haley. We have only positive emotions from our side—and from our beloved dog as well.

Hayley is such a kind, caring, and overall loving walker. Our go-to when we need someone. Highly recommend!

Every time we leave our house, we don’t ask who will stay with our German Shepherd — we just hope that Haley has a spot in her schedule! She is incredibly responsible, flexible, and reliable — and our dog is always happy in her care. Thank you, Haley, for your dedication, your love for animals, and the attention you give to their needs. We truly appreciate you!

Haley was great with our pets!

Schedule
I’m doing my thesis in a lab in Boston this semester so from July-March I’ll be busy during the normal business day (Monday-Friday 8-5ish). I also go into the city using public transportation so I’m most likely out of the house for almost 10 hours a day.
