“Daniel was an excellent drop-in visitor and playmate for our cat Georgie. We really appreciated his friendliness, prompt communication, and genuine affection for our cat. Bonus points for his availability short notice during holiday season as well! We’d definitely recommend Daniel.”

“Jacqueline was kind, communicative and thorough. She brought wet food to my cat upstairs when she was too nervous to come out to make sure she ate, and let me know the time she gave my cat her medicine so I knew the timing for the next dose (super helpful).”

“Amazing! We feel so comfortable leaving our dog with Lucy, we don’t have to worry and we enjoy ourselves on vacation. We have used Lucy numerous times and she always exceeds our expectations every time!”

“My cats were well cared for and came back to a clean home! My cats were well cared for and had fun playing with her. She provided a summary and pictures for every visit.”

About: I’ve always had a natural connection with animals, especially dogs. I’m patient, calm, and great at reading their behavior. Over time, I’ve helped train dogs with basic commands, leash manners, and socialization using positive reinforcement. I make sure every dog feels safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. What makes me stand out is how much attention and care I put into each pet. I treat every dog like my own and make sure they get the right balance of playtime, exercise, and rest. I also keep owners updated with pictures and messages so they always know their pet is happy and cared for. Your dog will be in loving, reliable hands with me.🐾 As a full-time college student, I have a structured but flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care. On Mondays and Wednesdays, I’m available from 8–11 AM and again from 3:30–11 PM, and on Fridays I’m available from 3:30–11 PM. I’m also able to stay overnight on weekends if needed. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, I’m very organized with my time and make it a priority to be fully present with the pets I’m caring for. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just companionship, I always make sure each pet gets my full attention and care. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, not just something I fit into my schedule. When I’m caring for pets in my home or my client’s home, my main focus is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I always stick to their normal routine as closely as possible, whether that means feeding times, walks, or bedtime habits, so they feel secure while their owners are away. I give plenty of playtime, attention, and cuddles, but I also make sure they have quiet time if they need space. If I’m in a client’s home, I treat it with the same respect as my own and always make sure everything stays neat and clean. I send regular updates and photos so owners can relax knowing their pets are being well taken care of. My goal is for every pet to feel happy and cared for, just like they would if their family were home.
“Very good experience with Rover. Leah was a wonderful cat visitor. She provided detailed summaries of each visit along with lots of photos. I highly recommend this service!”

“Eric was fantastic to work with. He was professional, personable, and prompt in providing pictures and videos after he visited Opal. He made us feel comfortable, and built a relationship with our pet. I would recommend Eric to anyone looking for a trustworthy and considerate sitter on Rover.”

“Xiaoxue was great with our two dogs. She came to meet them and was very thorough on learning what they needed. The pictures and rover card were great to get. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and love spending time with them. I’m comfortable with feeding, walks, playtime, and keeping a calm, safe environment. I’ll treat your pet with respect and care while you’re away. I work full-time during the week, so I’m available for pet care on weekends (Friday through Sunday). I keep a consistent schedule, so your dog will have predictable feeding, walks, and playtime. I enjoy spending time with dogs and make sure they get attention, exercise, and a calm environment while you’re away. I provide a safe, clean, and calm space for pets in my apartment. Dogs have a cozy area to rest, and I follow any routine or instructions you provide, including feeding, walks, and play. I supervise pets at all times, and I can send regular updates and photos so you know your dog is happy and comfortable. Your pet’s safety and well-being are my top priority.
About: I have taken care of many dogs and cats in my life. I also volunteered at an animal shelter, feeding and playing with cats, feeding and playing with dogs, and feeding and playing with rabbits! I am a full-time teacher, so I have availability in the summer, weekends, and on school breaks. I can do drop in visits and/or walks! When I am going in to other’s homes, I am respectful of their space. I will make sure it is as clean as it was when I arrived.
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and for the past 15+ years I’ve focused on caring for rescue dogs of all backgrounds, personalities, and needs. I’m currently a foster with Last Hope K9 Rescue, where I regularly work with dogs as they transition into new homes—this has given me hands-on experience with everything from shy, nervous pups to high-energy and still-learning dogs. In addition to fostering, I work with Hudson Pack Adventures, providing structured trail walks and in-home pet sitting. This means I’m not just a dog lover—I’m experienced in safely handling multiple dogs, reading behavior, and creating a calm, structured environment. I also have training experience and am continuing to build my skills as I work toward professional certifications. I’m especially mindful of safety, positive reinforcement, and making sure each dog feels secure and understood. At home, I’m a dedicated dog mom—my dogs are truly my world. I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own, with patience, attention, and lots of love. My goal is always to give you peace of mind and give your dog a safe, happy place while you’re away. Pet care is already a big part of my everyday life, so it fits really naturally into my routine. I have a flexible schedule during the week and can work with you to figure out what timing works best for you and your dog. I’m usually available for in-home sitting in the evenings (around 5 p.m., sometimes earlier depending on the day), and I’m happy to stay overnight so your dog can stick to their normal routine. I also check in throughout the day and make sure your dog is getting plenty of attention, care, and consistency. Since I spend so much of my time around dogs already, I’m able to be really present and make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and at home while you’re away. Right now, I focus on caring for pets in their own homes, where they’re most comfortable and able to stick to their usual routines. I may offer care in my home in the future for the right fit, but my priority is always making sure each dog feels safe, secure, and stress-free. I’m very comfortable being in clients’ homes and treat them with the same care and respect I would my own. I also prioritize regular communication, so you’ll always get updates and know how your dog is doing while you’re away. Through my experience with rescue dogs and fostering, I’ve worked with a wide range of personalities—including nervous, shy, high-energy dogs, and multi-dog households. I understand that every dog is different, and I approach each one with patience, structure, and compassion. I’m comfortable with crates and crate training, and I’m happy to reinforce any routines or training you’re working on to keep things consistent. Safety is always my top priority—I keep dogs leashed on walks, pay close attention to behavior and surroundings, and make thoughtful decisions to ensure every dog stays safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
“Great experience with this great sitter! Sam is conscientious, reliable, and fellow cat owners, take note: the first pet sitter I've ever had that actually cleaned up my cat's hairball instead of leaving it for me to come home to. Highly recommended!”

“Alexandria did a wonderful job of getting to know and care for a smart and sassy Chihuahua Amanda. She showed great affection for Amanda and I am certain she has that ability to get to do the same for most any dog out there. You will very happy with Alexandria. I almost think Amanda misses Alexandria ore than me, but that’s just fine. It demonstrates Alexandria commitment to Amanda.”

Marlborough dog parents share their Rover experiences
We are brand new to having Sam do drop ins at lunchtime for our guy, Gus, and he is awesome! He is extremely communicative and sends a constant stream of pictures and videos while he’s here. We also absolutely love his quirky sense of humor and his different greetings for our Gussy boy. Huge fans of Sam :)

Sara is an outstanding find! I almost didn’t want to leave this review because I didn’t want other people to take her away from my sweet babies! She is incredibly kind and goes above and beyond. She leaves detailed information about each visit and share so many excellent photos so that we know our dogs are being very well cared for. We are so lucky to have her take care of our two dogs.
