“Jennifer took such good care of Archie and his special medical needs. He did not seem stressed at all. She sent me updates multiple times daily. I would highly recommend her.”

“I was a little nervous getting a dog sitter through Rover, especially because my dog is not very social. Elaine showed us her kindness and confident with my dog when we met. I felt comfortable leaving my baby with her. I really appreciated her being flexible to accommodate my family’s last-minute schedule. Also, she made communication easy. She responded to my questions at a timely manner and sent me update regularly.”

“My dog Simba spent his Thanksgiving with Gabriel. He is a male Golden Retriever, two and half years old. He needs a lot of exercise. He never lived anywhere before. I was very worried before leaving Simba with Gabriel. But he had a wonderful experience. He played a lot with other dogs, came home calm and relaxed. Gabriel has a good understanding of dogs and very confident. I am definitely coming back again.”

“Aline was amazing! She was very easy to communicate with and kept us updated throughout the entire time. We really appreciated all the photos she sent—they showed how happy and comfortable Coco was. She paid attention to every detail and made sure our baby was safe and happy the whole time. Coco had such a great time with her! I will definitely book Aline again in the future. Thank you so much, Aline!”

Bridget was a prompt and clear communicator, and her attentiveness to our dog’s needs was genuinely appreciated. We would be delighted to work with her again!”

“Liliya and her family continue to take great care of our girl Luna so we can be confident when we travel! She is very communicative, accommodating, and sends lots of photos. Thank you Liliya!”

“Nancy provided excellent care to our 9 year old labradoodle. She was professional and accommodating when we needed to extend care unexpectedly by an extra day. We highly recommend Nancy and are grateful to have found her through Rover.”

“Briana was absolutely amazing with my puppy, Ace. This was our first time boarding him and I was nervous. He is also young so I was worried about him with bigger dogs. Once we met, I knew Briana and her dogs were going to be a great fit for him. He had an absolute blast and he is exhausted from all the love. She sends pic throughput the day so I know he was having so much fun! I would highly recommend her and I will book with her again in the future! Thanks again Briana for making my first time away from my pup a relaxing and non stressful experience!”

“Our active springer spaniel had a great time at Kira's especially with the other dogs who were there at the same time. Kira is very responsive and sent wonderful photos every day we were gone. Highly recommend!”

“Sarah was absolutely fantastic with our older aged GSD. Her retriever got along great with our dog and we were very pleased with the level of care provided for our pup when it came to food accommodations (our pup gets anxious when we leave and struggles to eat sometimes). Needless to say, Sarah went above and beyond and we couldn’t be more appreciative of the extraordinary care for our dog as well as all of the communication and photos she provided during the stay. Lastly, Sarah was quite flexible and accommodating with meet and greets, drop off times and pickup times. 10/10 and highly recommend! Thank you Sarah!”

“Great experience leaving our senior pup with Sandra. She was super responsive and asked detailed questions to ensure our pup was well cared for. She also sent a note each day with pics. She really made us feel comfortable leaving him with her and we will board with her again!”

“Mary took such good care of my miniature schnauzer who is cautious and shy. She was a great communicator. She sent pictures showing me he was happy and doing well and when I picked him he was as contentedly curled up asleep. I am so thrilled to be able to have Mary sit for him again in the future.”

“Tracee was very friendly and responsive. She took great care of my little dog and kept me up to date with pictures. My dog doesn’t always eat when I’m away, but she ate regularly with Tracee so I know she was comfortable. I would recommend her services and plan to use her again!”

“Maeve greets Leo like he is her family member! He happily runs in and is at home immediately. She texts me photos every day and is accomodating when my drop off and pick up times are in flux. Great dog sitter!”

“Sara is my new go-to sitter! She could handle my large, older German Shepherd with ease, confidence and playfulness. I highly recommend Sara and would use her again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Sara, for taking such great care of Mickey!”

“Hi. Hello. It’s me. Kona. Baby dog. CEO of this house while my humans are gone. I would like to speak about Loren. Because WOW. First of all: Loren showed up for me. Suspicious. Heroes do that. Loren knew my name immediately. I never told them. (Okay maybe my humans did, but still. Magic.) She understood my language. I signaled: *snout budging* She asked: “You need to go outside.” Correct. Genius. Scholar. She fed me EXACTLY when I was starving to death (which happens every 9 hours). She gave me food AND didn’t steal it AND didn’t rush me even when I dropped it on the floor on purpose to test her loyalty. Passed. She took me on a walk. Not a “quick” walk. A **sniff-every-tree-branch-like-it’s-a-mystery-novel** walk. She waited while I investigated the same bush for 4 straight minutes because something smelled like *crime*. She played with me. Not “throw ball once” play. Real play. The kind where I bring the toy back and she act surprised EVERY TIME. Excellent acting. Five stars. When I got tired, she noticed. I didn’t even have to dramatically collapse. She said, “Aww, nap time.” YES. FINALLY. SOMEONE WHO GETS ME. She respected my boundaries. Except when I needed exactly 17 belly rubs and then ONE MORE or I would simply pass away. She stayed. She protected the house with me. We heard a noise once. Probably the wind. But still. We were brave together. In conclusion: The Dog Sitter is ✨ The Best Human ✨ ✨ A Treat Giver ✨ ✨ A Walk Bringer ✨ ✨ My New Best Friend ✨ I will miss her. Unless she comes back. Which she should. Immediately. 10/10 Would allow to dog sit me again and share my toys (which is a BIG deal). End of report. BORK. - Kona 🐾”

“Mark and his wife did an excellent job caring for my cat while I was away. They provided detailed updates, were incredibly flexible and my princess was happy when I returned.”

“Cannot recommend Sara enough! She was incredibly thorough and sent so many pictures and videos. We were out of town for about a month so she even offered to help with the plants and bringing in the mail, etc. She is incredibly kind, professional, and very obviously LOVES animals. It was such a relief to know my little buddy was in such capable hands. Thanks again Sara!!”

“Nicole is nice and really knows cat stuff. My cat just trusts and loves her, always rubs her shoes and sniffs them and shows her belly immediately when Nicole visits her. I appreciate your wonderful care and you followed our care instructions closely.”

“I'm so glad I found Chelsea! She's awesome and very reliable. My cats came right out to see her and get pets. She's a gem. Will definitely continue to use her for my cats and my dog in the future as well.”

“Miriam took excellent care of my two cats while my boyfriend and I were away. She is an excellent communicator, sending us photos and updates multiple times a day. One of our cats is diabetic, and she was comfortable administering insulin to him twice a day. Miriam went above and beyond to play with our cats, bring in our mail, and even cared for one of our wilting plants. :) I would recommend Miriam to anyone looking for a thoughtful and dedicated pet sitter.”

About: I am a thoughtful person who has taken care of cats for about twenty years. I can cuddle, play with and feed your cat and have plenty of experience cleaning litter boxes. I am gentle, caring and dependable.

“I'm so grateful I found Lori! We had some bad experiences with a pet sitter in the past (not on Rover) and were really nervous about leaving our cat Max alone for a few days. Lori took the time to listen to us, stayed in constant communication, and sent tons of pictures and videos. She is very caring and took excellent care of Max while we were out of town, which really helped us relax and not worry. If you are looking for a sitter to drop in and visit your furbaby, I highly recommend Lori - she's professional, reliable and really cares about the animals she's taking care of! We will definitely be working with Lori again!!!”

About: I have taken care of my own cat for almost 10 years. I've had cats my entire life and have watched my friends cats as well. I have a deaf kitty so my patience is exceptional and very dedicated. My connection with animals in general are simply pure and unconditionally loved.

“Caitlyn took such good care of my elderly cat for a week while I was away. Her daily detailed updates made me feel so much better being away from my little guy. I will definitely call Caitlyn again in the future, and highly recommend her!”

“Briana is so wonderful!!! As a 1st time customer We never felt so comfortable leaving our cats in her competent and capable hands. Will definitely book with her again❤️”

“Jennifer was a great sitter for my two cats! She is clearly an animal lover and they both took to her immediately. It was so nice getting updates from her each day - she really went above and beyond. I plan to book with her again!”

“My cat is high maintenance and a bit of a pain. Cam was incredibly patient and clever in terms of getting my cat his medicine. After a few days the cat finally trusted him to deliver the meds orally. Cam was great throughout the process. 5/5 Would recommend!”

“Juliet did a great job watching our cat for two weeks. She stopped by four times while we were away. She left great photos/videos and reports on Tilly every visit. Tilly can be shy but she seemed comfortable and happy with Juliet. We will hire her again!”

“Thanks to Danya, we came home to happy, well fed cats. I have extremely high-maintenance cats. They both take two medications in their food, both are on separate prescription diets and both have food insecurity due to early deprivation. As a result of their anxiety about being fed, they also have some minor behavioral issues, requiring separate eating areas. It's enough to make anyone's head spin but Danya was clearheaded and confident with all of the instructions. On her first visit, Danya texted with a request for clarification ( she figured it out before I got back to her), but I give her so much credit for reaching out to ask. I'm hoping that if I ask nicely she would care for "the kids" again.”

About: With over a decade of hands-on experience as a dedicated pet owner and caregiver, I bring a wealth of knowledge in pet care, particularly in the nurturing of dogs of all breeds and sizes, as well as cats. Currently, I share my home with a lively Chihuahua and two feline companions, while also extending my care to several clients' beloved canines. Additionally, I have undergone training in positive-reinforcement techniques and clicker training methods. Before commencing services, I typically offer a complimentary "Meet and Greet" session. This serves as an invaluable opportunity for us to meet face-to-face, allowing me to familiarize myself with your pets and home environment. Moreover, it's an ideal time to exchange pertinent information such as door codes, keys, and entry instructions. Please note, for services requiring travel to your location, such as dog walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, that rates may vary depending on the distance from my residence in Marlborough. My schedule is structured to accommodate pet care seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. With several regular pet clients whom I walk during the week, I may be away for 4-6 hours at a time, ensuring each pet receives the attention and exercise they require. In all services I provide, whether it's house sitting, walks, drop-ins, boarding, or daycare, I prioritize safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment for your beloved pets. Depending on the specific service offered, I tailor my care methods to suit the unique needs of each pet, ensuring they feel secure and well-cared for in both my home and yours.
“Normally, when we pick Yoda from a day care or boarding he will express his unhappiness by barking at us trying to tell us he didn’t like it there. But when we picked him up from your place he was all happy and no barks very calm, it tells us he had a good time with you. Thank you for taking good care of him.”

“Meli took such great care of my fur baby! From the moment I was in touch with Meli, I felt safe and excited about the opportunity to have Ollie spend the day with her and her pup Nina. She was warm and assuring, and very quick to respond to messages! When I met Meli in person to drop Ollie off, I was happy to find such a friendly and kind person in real life, too! She sent me photos and updates throughout the 6 hours that Ollie was with her for “day care” (without me even needing to ask!) and I could tell he was having fun and being taken care of so well! I would absolutely recommend Meli and would love to have Ollie stay with her again if we need a sitter in Bloomington. Thanks Meli! ?”
“Stephanie was incredible! This was my first time leaving my pup with a sitter I didn’t know, and Stephanie helped me to feel so comfortable! She sent so many updates throughout the day and answered any questions I had. I knew Beanie was in good hands! I will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Joanne is so nice, extremely accommodating and takes great care of the dogs! I just started bringing my 1.5yr puppy to her and she is amazing with him, sends me pics and videos of all the fun he is having while he’s there …he truly LOVES going to Joanne for Doggy daycare! I HIGHLY highly recommend her!!!”

“We are once again repeat customers with Anastasia, and she took great care of my pup while I was away for the day. He always comes home tired and happy after a day with Anastasia.”

“Alexandra was awesome. I appreciate the time she spent with my dog and the attention she paid attention to him. For the standpoint of someone who cares about their pet and is weary about who watches after them; Alexandra's care will resolve all concerns. I received constant updates with photos attached. And she was OK with me visiting mid day. Overall the experience was exactly what a worrisome pet owner would be ideally looking for in a caretaker.”

“Kathy was great with Comet. She sent lots of pictures and gave him lots of treats and love. And Franklin was an excellent host too. Kathy was very communicative and asked lots of questions before we met, making us feel safe leaving Comet there. We would absolutely use her again!”

“Ivan is an excellent dog sitter. He obviously loves dogs and he was attentive, calm, and thoughtful in his care. This was my first time using a dog sitter for taking my dog for walks, and I couldn't have gotten luckier in choosing Ivan to take my dog to the park and care obout my pet. Ivan takes the responsibility seriously and understands my dog behavior rather than treating it as a checklist. My dog usually has the anxieties. Ivan found the way to calm my dog and communicate with wonderful care. After couple walks withIvan my dog is very excited, waiting for Ivan to come and go to the park. Ivan isd professional, reliable, and easy to communicate with throughout. I felt confident leaving my dog in his care and would not hesitate to book Ivan again. I am highly recommend Ivan service.”

“Sydney took such great care of our dog. She was understanding of the dog’s needs and ours to make our vacation easy. She made sure there was harmony for everyone in her home, pampered our dog more than we do at home, sent us pup updates (“pupdates”, lol) so we could see her experience. Would recommend Sydney’s pup sitting. We will again.”
“Melissa was great ! My two Golden Retrievers had such a great time and loved being around the kids. They came home calm, happy, and clearly well cared for. It’s such a relief knowing they were in great hands. I would absolutely book with her again!”
