“Juliana is hands down AMAZING. I am so thankful that shes able to check on my girl mid day when we have longer work days. Athena is in great hands and id recommend Juliana to anyone !!!!!”

About: I grew up with dogs, cats and horses. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to check in with, feed and play with their pets. I work full time during the week. I am available for those who enjoy going out on Friday nights or on the weekends! I’m available after 2pm on Friday's and all day Saturday & Sunday. I am very active and enjoy going for long walks and runs. I have a fenced in yard and one friendly small dog that loves to play and run around. I have an indoor porch where my animals and yours can stay separate if need be. I am able to comfortably crate your dog if needed.
About: I've had pets since I was a little girl and even worked at a dog grooming salon for three years, which I loved. Over the past 3 summers, I’ve been on Rover and love my experience with animals and clients. I am still recovering from surgery, and we can discuss that when booking with me. I want to create a place where owners feel like they can reach out me and trust me when needed Hello, I’m currently a college student home for the summer. Back in April, I had hip replacement surgery. Over the past few weeks, I've been able to get back on my feet and move around a little more. I was looking to help any furry friends around the area that need to be fed or let outside. Unfortunately, I can't handle large, high-energy dogs. Please reach out, and we can discuss. If anyone needs help with small dogs or cats, I'm your girl. During drop-ins, I typically follow the owners' requests, which include feeding the animals, playing with them, spending time together, letting them outside, and refilling their water, etc.
“Sara was an outstanding sitter. She took such care with our geriatric cat, spending quality time with him and making sure he had plenty of attention while we were away. She was incredibly communicative and thorough and sent such beautiful photos of our cat! I cannot recommend her highly enough!!”

“My cat absolutely LOVED Chelsea. She's my go to for any trips out of town and has been so responsive and professional throughout the whole process. She's been able to make my last minute requests work, and I knew my cat Bug would be cared for :)”

About: I have had cats and have taken care of them since I was eight years old, and have spent time with dogs, but don't have any of my own. But I am looking forward to meeting yours. I work part time, usually at night and usually on weekends, I am pretty flexible on weekdays and can take care of your pet in the mornings or afternoons. I feed and clean up after my cat at home. If I am walking a dog then I am comfortable running or going at any pace.
“She took great care of our 2 large breed dogs while we were away on vacation. Would not hesitate to have her watch our boys again! The Rover card updates were great to read while we were away ?”

“Lucy was amazing!!! She sent us the cutest and funnies pics and left us the most amazing summary of her visit with our girl! Her communication is amazing and I had peace of mind knowing she was watching Juno! Lucy goes above and beyond and I can’t recommend her more to watch your fur babies!”

“Nicole is amazing! She took such good care of my furbaby while we were away. I highly recommend Nicole if you need someone to care for your pet. I will definitely use her every time I have to be away from my baby!! 😻”

“Daniel was an excellent drop-in visitor and playmate for our cat Georgie. We really appreciated his friendliness, prompt communication, and genuine affection for our cat. Bonus points for his availability short notice during holiday season as well! We’d definitely recommend Daniel.”

“Miriam is so sweet and great with my cat! I needed a sitter at the last minute and she came for a meet and greet the very next day! She did everything I asked her to do (including giving meds) and more. I hate leaving my little dude home alone, but Miriam was super responsible, communicative, and gave lots of detailed updates. She also took tons of cute pics and even some videos too :) I’m already planning to rebook her!”
“It was comforting to me to have Jacquie take care of my cat Fiona while I was out of state and so far away. She did an excellent job of keeping me up to date with notes and pics and my cat just loved her. She wasn't shy to meet Jacquie and was very calm and relaxed when I got home. I am very pleased with my first experience with Jacquie and Rover.”
“Sam was an excellent cat sitter for us. His updates were timely, helpful, and fun. We could tell he spent time with her when we got home. He was friendly, personable, and experienced. We’d definitely go with Sam again in the future!”

“Caitlyn took such good care of my elderly cat for a week while I was away. Her daily detailed updates made me feel so much better being away from my little guy. I will definitely call Caitlyn again in the future, and highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve taken care of 7 dogs growing up and have worked with small dogs like pugs and beagle mixes all the way up to black labs and a 130lb boxer mix. I'm a full time gym teacher in Worcester with a very flexible availability, especially on the weekends. I can easily travel around central MA with some of my dog walking clients being in Berlin, Wayland, and Hudson MA. I make my pets feel at home in my place and would do the same for yours. I make sure to have everything clean and ready for any pet or pet owner to come home too.

Sarah is truly amazing super attentive listens to directions goes above and beyond. She is an amazing pet sitter and I will recommend her to all my friends and family. I will for sure be rebooking with her anytime I need some assistance when I’m out of town.

We are brand new to having Sam do drop ins at lunchtime for our guy, Gus, and he is awesome! He is extremely communicative and sends a constant stream of pictures and videos while he’s here. We also absolutely love his quirky sense of humor and his different greetings for our Gussy boy. Huge fans of Sam :)

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
