We’re Jaycee and James, a dog-loving couple who are excited to welcome your pup into our home! 🐾 We have two dogs of our own — Bentley, our playful and energetic 2-year-old Golden Retriever, and Bailey, our sweet and cuddly 4-year-old mini Bernedoodle. They both love having a furry friend around, so we’re only able to care for dogs who are friendly and comfortable around other dogs. We’re an active household and love spending time outdoors. Our apartment community has two private dog parks, and we have plenty of walking and hiking trails nearby. Whether your dog loves a long walk and playtime or would rather relax and cuddle at home, we’re happy to match their routine and energy level. James works from home, so there is almost always someone home with the dogs throughout the day. We also only care for one guest dog at a time, which allows us to give your pup plenty of individual attention and make them feel like part of the family. About: I don’t know life without furry friends! I was born into a family with two cats and a dog. Growing up, I took care of my own hamsters, fish, and hermit crabs. Since I was 12, I have taken care of my community members’ dogs of all sizes, cats of all temperaments, and small critters. The last 11 years, I’ve been primarily busy with grad school and taking care of my own 3 cats but recently my eldest crossed the rainbow bridge and I now work fully remotely, so have extra love and time to pour into your animals! I have experience with all ages and sizes of dogs. I can also administer medication. I work fully remotely, so have more flexibility to check in on your pets and walk your dogs! My weekends are generally free and I plan to be available over Thanksgiving and New Years. If I were to stay in your home to care for your dog, I would treat your home with the utmost respect and be able to keep the dog to his/her usual routine. I am comfortable with having your pup in my car if they like rides, need to go to the vet, or driven to a park. The same applies for kitty cats!

About: I've been looking after dogs, cats, and exotic pets for about 10 years now. I have a dog, 2 cats, and a leopard gecko of my own, so I know how to take care of all types of animals! I originally started my pet care journey with family pets, and slowly began gaining clients through family friends and being recommended to other people. I have handled all age ranges from kittens to seniors, so I'm able to do a wide array of services (administering medicine, being extra observant, correcting behavior, training, etc.) I'm able to be outside in all kinds of weather, and I can walk or play with your animals for as long as you prefer! I currently work full-time, but I still have plenty of time to care for your animals! My work is very flexible and I am often able to step away to visit your animals. I am completely free on Saturday afternoons, all day Sunday, and all day Monday. Depending on what environment your animal has at your home, I cater to your every preference. On leash, off leash, crated, no pets on furniture, etc. I always make sure to respect my clients homes and most importantly their wishes!

About: Hey There! I'm Becky. I'm a mother, small business owner, and life-long dog lover. For my entire life I've always had dogs, but a few years my sweet dog crossed the rainbow bridge to doggy heaven. When that happened, my children started asking for a new dog, but I wasn’t quite ready. As an alternative we started helping others with theirs. It’s become an incredible journey for our family, and brings us so much joy! We’re happy to have dogs here for boarding. I only take ONE dog at a time, unless there are multiple dogs coming from the same home that already live together. I have two children (11 & 15) who both love dogs as well. However, my son is nervous around bigger dogs and certain breeds. For this reason, a trial visit is required. Dog sitting has brought an unexpected amount of happiness into our home and family. We get very excited with each new furry friend that we get to love while you’re away. ​ I have a fenced yard and a cozy home. I allowed my dog on the furniture when I had him. I don’t have a crate. Whatever rules apply in your house are what we try to do here. Dogs can run free in my fenced yard or walk on a leash around my neighborhood and in the nearby nature trails. I run a small part-time preschool enrichment program out of my basement, in a separate area where dogs would not have access. During work hours I am generally able let dogs out as needed in a separate fenced area. ​ If you are interested in having your dog stay with us, please feel free to contact me. We try our best to make our routines look like yours, creating a safe, happy home away from home. I live in a cute neighborhood abutting conservation land. It is beautiful! We use an organic pest company to keep ticks out of our yard and I keep my home tidy.
