About: I'm a proud cat mom. My baby of 10 years (I adopted him as an adult), just passed after a long, happy life with a well-managed chronic illness and I am ready to show your special pal the love and deference they require. From experience with my own cat I have provided special food, daily medication, and for a time, subcutaneous fluids. As a pet parent, I have had both a more reserved friend and a lap-lover. I have taken care of shy friends and care for a diabetic cat multiple times and am comfortable providing injections. I have cat-sat for single cat households and multi-cat households. I really understand that cats like their places and their people and am ready to take your guidance, feel out the cat, and meet them where they are while you are away.

“Jessica was great and seemed to bond with my shy guy right away. In fact, my father is jealous that she got more interactions with the cat in a week then he's gotten in the past 10 years.”

About: Hi! I’m Yasmin, and if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I’ve never met an animal I didn’t love. I grew up on a farm, so being around animals has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From furry to feathery to scaly, they’ve always had a special place in my heart. Over the years I’ve had all kinds of pets, from hermit crabs and fish to cats and dogs, and I can’t wait to have even more when the time is right! Because I genuinely love animals, I’ve spent a lot of time learning about their care, behavior, and what helps them feel happy and safe. I know every pet is different, and I love getting to know their unique personalities. When I’m not spending time with my own pets, I work as a realtor, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for yours. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just having someone nearby, I’m happy to match their pace and make them feel comfortable while you’re away. I’d love the chance to meet you and your best friend! My goal is to make sure you can leave knowing they’re in loving, reliable hands and maybe make a new furry (or scaly!) friend along the way. 🐾 My schedule is pretty flexible! During the week, I’m typically available after 2:00 PM unless I have a work appointment scheduled. Since I’m a realtor, my schedule can vary from day to day, but I do my best to keep my calendar up to date and communicate any changes. Fridays and weekends are a little less predictable. Some weekends I’m completely available, while others I may be booked with work or personal plans. When I am available on weekends, it’s usually between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. If you have a specific date or time in mind, feel free to reach out! I’m always happy to see if I can make it work for you and your pet. 🐾 While I won’t be caring for pets in my own home, I’d be more than happy to care for them in yours! I know every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I always appreciate detailed instructions. The more information you can share, the better I can make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being will always be my top priorities. I’ll treat them with the same love, patience, and attention I’d give my own pets, and I’ll always keep you updated for extra peace of mind. When it comes to walks, I’m especially mindful during the summer months. I prefer walking dogs on grassy or shaded paths whenever possible, and if it’s too hot outside, I’ll adjust our plans to keep them safe. Hot pavement can burn paw pads, and dogs can overheat quickly, so I always prioritize their comfort and safety over sticking to a schedule.
“Nat was pretty great in taking care of my babies. She was also very accommodating when my flight got canceled, so I needed her for an extra day. I will use her again.”

About: I have over four years of experience in the dog care industry, including working in dog daycares and as a professional dog walker. I have developed a strong connection with dogs, as well as a solid understanding of their behavior, body language, and needs. My experience has allowed me to confidently manage groups of dogs and ensure a safe, enriching environment for each one. Taking care of my pet is a natural and important part of my daily and weekly routine. I've always had a strong love for animals, especially dogs, so making sure they’re happy, healthy, and well cared for is something I take seriously. From feeding and walking to playtime and naps, these tasks are part of my everyday life. My pet is more than just an animal—they’re family, and their well-being is always a priority for me. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. I have a very friendly female dog who gets along well with others, which helps new dogs feel at ease. My apartment is cozy and has enough space for them to relax, and we’re lucky to have green areas and a dog park nearby where they can walk, play, and burn off energy. I always follow each pet's routine and needs, whether it's feeding, walks, playtime, or just quiet time. Their comfort and happiness come first.
About: I have been fostering dogs in my home for the past 2 years and have cared for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. Through fostering, I've gained experience helping dogs adjust to new environments, routines, and people. I also volunteer monthly by taking foster dogs on field trips around town, to parks, and on neighborhood walks to help with socialization and exercise. I understand that every pet has unique needs, and I always focus on providing a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where they can feel at home. I am available anytime and have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide care whenever needed. Whether your pet needs early morning walks, daytime check-ins, evening care, overnight stays, or weekend attention, I can accommodate their routine. I understand the importance of consistency and will make sure your pet receives plenty of care, exercise, companionship, and attention while you're away. In my home, pets will stay in a safe and welcoming apartment environment. While I don't have a yard, I regularly take dogs on walks around my apartment complex and to a large nearby field where they can enjoy exercise, fresh air, and enrichment. I closely supervise all pets and make sure they have access to water, comfortable resting areas, and plenty of attention. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow all instructions carefully to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. I can provide feeding, walks, playtime, medication administration if needed, litter box cleaning, and companionship. If crate training or crating is part of the pet's routine, I can safely crate dogs when supplies and instructions are provided. For cats, I ensure litter boxes stay clean, fresh water is always available, and they receive the appropriate amount of interaction based on their personality and preferences. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away.

About: I have a yorkie that I have taken care of for 7 years. I also volunteered at a dog shelter for two years which got me accustomed to all sorts of dogs! I currently work as a host at cheesecake and am a full time student at northeastern, I currently am taking summer courses and have more time to myself. I walk, feed and play with my dog! About: Hello! My husband and I are relatively new to being on the care taker end of Rover. But better late than never! A little about us: We live in a spacious house with a yard with 2 cats and 1 dog (and no kids). We also work from home so we are able to pay lots of attention to our pets and yours! I, myself, am an animal lover with years of volunteer work experience in shelters and zoos. I have grown up in a household with many types of pets from dogs and cats to turtles and chickens and peacocks! We fall in love with every animal we meet, and would love to host your pet when they need us! Both me and my husband work from home and always spend tons of time with our pets including pets and walks and play time and cuddles! We have a large tard with a 6-foot fence. We have two cats and a dog but we can dedicate an entire floor to your pets and spend time with them if separation is necessary from other animals. In the case that the animals don’t get along, we also tend to put our pets in different rooms and spend time with your pet in the main living area. But our pets are very friendly!
“Sara was wonderful with my puppy and young adult dogs, and very accommodating of my lazy Saturday schedule. The pups were happy and relaxed, and Sara had only nice things to say about them, when I came to get them from a day of doggie daycare and slept like rocks—clearly exhausted from a day of nonstop play in Sara’s yard. Would definitely recommend!”

“Adriana took care of my fur baby on very short notice while my husband and I moved out of our old home. My pup had such a great time that she whined when it was time to leave. Highly recommend!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for geriatric, diabetic, and epileptic dogs and cats, making me comfortable with special needs pets who require extra attention. I’m skilled at administering oral medications, giving insulin injections, and monitoring pets for any changes in their health or behavior. I also have plenty of experience walking dogs of all sizes—from tiny lap pups to large, energetic breeds—always focusing on their safety, comfort, and happiness. I currently work part-time as a Veterinary Assistant, which gives me hands-on experience with animal care and handling in a clinical setting. I’m also a student enrolled in an online Veterinary Technology program, so I’m always learning and expanding my knowledge about animal health and behavior. Because of my flexible schedule, I have availability on some weekdays and weekends for pet sitting, dog walking, and drop-in visits. This allows me to combine my passion for animals with my professional training while giving pets the love and attention they deserve when their families can’t be there. Whenever I’m in a home with pets, I make it a priority to tune into their needs, read their body language, and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy. Every pet has their own personality—some love long walks and playtime, while others just want cuddles and belly rubs. If your pet is the snuggly type, I’m always happy to curl up with them and give all the love, scratches, and attention they need!
“Thanks so much Nikkita for taking Winnie out while I was gone! Nikkita came to meet Winnie the night before which was awesome to put my mind at ease as a new dog owner! She has great communication and was so sweet with Winnie 💕”

“Dee saved my bacon. After being left with necessary dog care for a last minute need, she kindly fit in a meet and greet with my precious pup. This is my child. My dog means very much to me. And it was plainly evident that my pup was extremely comfortable when she first met Dee…my dog brought one of her favorite toys to her. By all intents, Dee’s visit with my pup went very well and I did not worry about my dog the entire time I was away from home. She communicated with me to let me know that she was running a little bit late and would be there five minutes after the agreed-upon time which I thought was far above and beyond what I would expect. I trust my dogs assessment of people better than I trust my own. Anybody’s fuzzy children are in good hands with Dee.”

“Georgina is wonderful! Our 1 year old pup absolutely adored her, and she provided great updates and photos after each walk while we were away. We hope to work with Georgina again soon!”

“Malikai was on time and very communicative. Our dog, Lola, was very excited to meet him and came back happy and tired from her walk. Lola is a 50 lb pit mix and Malikai did a great job handling her. We will definitely be hiring him again for future walks!”

About: Hello! I am 25 years old with a ton of animal experience. I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, and for the most part have trained my families dogs. I went to High school at Norfolk Agricultural High School and was a Veterinary Major there. My High School gave me the opportunity to meet, handle, groom, and train dogs that were not my own. I was also in a 4H club at Natick Organic Farm in which I took care of the live stock that lived there. I have always been the go to dog sitter for my extended family. Due to this I also had to handle dogs of all different sizes and temperaments. I am currently working on becoming an Airline pilot so my days are very wide open and can be manipulated to better suit the care for your pets. I am familiar with most dog training tools. Depending on what is best for your dog I am comfortable using and have been trained to use. I also understand that every dog has different needs.

About: I am a proud dog aunt and cat mom. Over the past decade I have taken care of many dogs and cats, from hosting them in my home while their people were away, house/pet sitting, to providing home visits and walking. Dog-wise, I have taken care of a wide variety of pals, both size and personality-wise: small dogs, mediums dogs, all the way up to a large mastiffs and Shepards. Couch potatoes, protectors, playful & energetic buds, and snugglers. I have taken care of a dog with a chronic illness requiring particular food preparation. I've taken care of multiple dogs with protective personalities and approach with a mixture of confidence and willingness to meet them where they are. As a cat mom and ongoing cat sitter, I've taken care of my late cat with a chronic illness for many years, requiring a special diet and daily medication; friends' cats shy to new people; and a diabetic cat, requiring regular insulin shots. Cats hold my heart (don't tell the above paragraph.) I am a part-time non-profit consultant. I primarily work from home with occasional meetings out of the house. I am active in community theater, but am working on the administrative end for the foreseeable future, which means I am generally home during evenings. I have a lot of flexibility to build my schedule as needed based on pet care bookings with a few key, short responsibilities each week. You are the expert on your pet. My starting point is your information and guidance. After that, I use my experience meeting and caring for many different animals and personalities. I am an intuitive and patient person. I'm aware that pets may feel differently away from their people and potential away from their environment. I stay attuned to them and meet them where they are. They are aware, intelligent beings with reactions, routines, expectations, and feelings and I don't take that like likely.
“Marina is great, she arrives on time and is able to take Hensley out on walks in the woods. Our pup is a little on the shy side and she has been kind enough to gently introduce her to another dog to help with that. Thank you, Marina!”

“Lauren walked my dog in our neighborhood, and it was my first time hiring a walker. She was fantastic! She sent me adorable pictures of my pup during their walk, which put my mind at ease. Would definitely recommend!”

“Kira and her husband sent wonderful updates on Obi while he stayed with them! I got photos and little summaries of his daily activities. Obi is a repeat client and when I drop him off he happily runs to the gate to get let in to play with friends. Thank you for always taking such good care of my big baby🩷”

“Bridget was fabulous. Blue had some digestive issues. We communicated with Bridget ahead of time and she was extremely supportive and helpful. She administered new food and medicine while Blue was there. She is an absolute pro and awesome to work with!”

“Gabriel was great!! He was able to accommodate our two dogs very last minute (since our return flights were cancelled and we needed a new sitter) and then again he was very flexible to continue looking after our dogs when our flights were rescheduled multiple days later by the airlines. We appreciated the great communication and our boys were tired when we picked them up which is not an easy feat for our Australian Cattle Dog puppy! he definitely gave them lots of exercise and attention. Would definitely recommend and will be keeping his contact handy!”

About: I have a 5-year-old border collie. He’s very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I rent out my guest room and my roommate does have a chocolate lab part-time that he splits with his ex so there could be 2 dogs depending on dates. I live in a town house so I don’t have a yard per say. I typically take my dog to parks/fields in Ashland to hike or run around. I typically walk my border collie about 4 miles a day as well. I work remote so I am usually home. Available 7 days a week. I usually go to the gym for a few hours each day but try to be home for my dog to keep him active as a herding dog (border collie) I will do 2 long walks per day typically (2 miles each). I will also take my dog and yours hiking or to a field/park but not a dog park. I can go to a fenced in field if needed for your dog. Mine doesn’t need a fence.
“We knew Olive was safe and happy with Dina and Skylar. Dina was very prompt in answering questions and sending pics, updates. Very organized too. She went above and beyond with washing olive's towel and bowels , keeping everything neat and ready for pick up. We could tell Olive had lots of fun with Dina and Skylar. Highky recommend and will definitely board Olive again with Dina and Skylar.”
