I take frequent breaks during the day to take pets out for playtime or leashed walks, often at the nearby state park. These walks typically last about an hour, depending on the weather. I have a very friendly Australian Labradoodle and three sons, ages 16, 15, and 11, who love having new dogs to play with. When caring for pets in my home, I ensure they feel welcomed and comfortable in a family-friendly environment. About: My husband Lonnie, and I will be the care team for your dog, whether they are staying for a few hours or a few days. We are a pup-loving family looking into fostering or adopting a dog in the long-term. We've had pet hamsters, a hedgehog and bunny but our kids (10, 12 and 15) have wanted a dog for years. In our last neighborhood we signed up as puppysitters and hosted a few different dogs, started walking others, and generally tried to give our kids as much experience with them as possible to test the waters! Now that we live in a big house with a large fenced yard and quiet neighborhood, we would love to welcome your pup into our home for a day, a weekend or a longer stay full of love, hugs, play and walkies. We are still fairly new to the dog-sitting game but we are eager to hear from you and learn how to care for your dog the way you do at home. I work two days a week as a supply teacher, and my husband works remotely from home, so most days there will be 2 adults around to play with your pup! We have three kids between the ages of 10-15; two boys and a girl. They are all eager to spend time with your dog, and help us out with walks, potty breaks, playtime and quiet cuddles. We have a large, fenced yard and plenty of room in the house for your dog's crate and favourite nap mats. If your dog is used to being allowed on furniture or beds, we will allow it in our home too. There will always be somebody home to walk your dog in the mornings, during the day, after school or in the evening. On weekends we will clear our schedules so that we are all available as a family, and during the week there will be 1-2 parents home until school finishes, and then 3 kids home to play after that!

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was little, my own pets and my family/ friends pets as well. I love dogs and I consider myself as a good, responsible and caring dog sitter. I have pet care as part of my regular routine. I make sure any of the pets I stay with are fed on time, have fresh water, get enough exercise, and receive attention throughout the day. I also keep up with grooming, cleaning, and any appointments they may need. I’m also available for boarding Monday - Friday anytime I take care of pets by making sure they are fed, have fresh water, and get plenty of attention and exercise. I follow their owner’s instructions and routine, including walks, playtime, medication if needed, and keeping their space clean. I also make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away.

Bentley seemed happy to see us but reluctant to leave when we picked him up! And we got a lot of feedback and pictures during both days of his one-night stay.
