“Francois took great care of Walter while I was on vacation. I particularly enjoyed the daily photos of their walks in the woods, it put my mind at ease that he was receiving the best care. He seemed very happy upon his return!”

About: I treat every dog like family-with love, patience, and attetion. I make sure each pyp feels safe, happy, loved and cared for while you're away. Pet care is part of my daily routine. I set aside time every day for walks, feeding and playtime. i enjoy spending time with animals and always make sure they are well cared for. During walks, I focus on the dog's safety and wellbeing. I choose quiet routes when possible, bring water if it's hot, and make sure they get exercise and simulation. I always treat them withcare and respect
“Emily was so kind, patient, and welcoming to our puppy who spent his first nights away from us with her. She was not phased at all by his initial excitement and nervousness, was happy to help with some minor medical issues, and kept us updated with pictures and notes. It was clear our pup had a great time with Emily and we are so glad he will get to stay with her again soon!”

“Yagmur was fantastic with our pup. She really gave her such a fun overnight - long walks, hang time, and play time in her fenced in back yard. Plus Yagmur is so warm and friendly so it was a pleasure to communicate with her!”

“Meli is a fantastic sitter! She took awesome care of my pup, Chunk. I really enjoyed the pictures that she sent me throughout the day. It was a comfort knowing that he was in good hands. You can tell that she is very passionate about animals!”

“Our experience with Rebecca was amazing! She provided daily updates that put our minds at ease while away from Scout. I would highly recommend her to all and will definitely be using her again!”

“Jacqueline and her daughter took wonderful care of my dog Molly. Molly is older and gets anxiety about being in new places. She was given lots of attention while I was away and treated like family. I received lots of pictures while I was gone. Molly even got a bath and Jacqueline did some minor grooming, which I was extremely thankful for. I highly recommend Jacqueline and plan on using her again in the future, if needed.”

“Jennifer took such good care of Archie and his special medical needs. He did not seem stressed at all. She sent me updates multiple times daily. I would highly recommend her.”

“Recently we lost one of our two dogs. We had a trip planned for only a couple weeks later and had to board our second dog alone for the first time. Gabe was an excellent choice and probably the most knowledgeable in training that we have had so far! He was communicative, responsible, and made us feel completely confident while we were gone! Definitely will be giving him a call again for our trips.”

“I’m so grateful to have found Elaine—she’s truly wonderful with Zoe! It’s clear how much love and care Elaine gives, and it shows every time Zoe doesn’t want to leave after her stay. Zoe is always excited to spend time with her, and I have complete peace of mind knowing she’s in such good hands. Thank you, Elaine—we truly appreciate you!”

“This was our first booking with Alex and it was an outstanding experience. Our mini poodle had the time of her life playing with the other 2 dogs. Alex is a great communicator and takes his responsibility of dog care very seriously. Lovely big fenced back yard that provided lot of safe room to run about. We all look forward to booking with Alex again in the near future.”

About: I have a 5-year-old border collie. He’s very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I rent out my guest room and my roommate does have a chocolate lab part-time that he splits with his ex so there could be 2 dogs depending on dates. I live in a town house so I don’t have a yard per say. I typically take my dog to parks/fields in Ashland to hike or run around. I typically walk my border collie about 4 miles a day as well. I work remote so I am usually home. Available 7 days a week. I usually go to the gym for a few hours each day but try to be home for my dog to keep him active as a herding dog (border collie) I will do 2 long walks per day typically (2 miles each). I will also take my dog and yours hiking or to a field/park but not a dog park. I can go to a fenced in field if needed for your dog. Mine doesn’t need a fence.
“Nicole does such a great job with my dog zoey! She sends pictures, takes her on walks, and I always know zoey is in good hands at Nicole’s home while I am away. Nicole has watched zoey a couple times now and I will continue to book with her in the future!”

“Our pup has had several overnight stays including last one for 10 days. He is very happy to be there! (Also, Alex was very accommodating with a schedule change which was awesome!)”

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life and had one of my own until recently. Having dogs in my lives has brought me immense joy! I will treat and care for your dog as if they were a part of my family. I am very reliable and responsible, and I have transportation available for pick-up and drop-off if needed. I would be delighted to take care of your pet! I work from home most of the times and have a pretty flexible schedule! I usually walk my in the morning and before sunset every day, each around 30 minutes, but could increase the frequency if your dog needed! I have a fenced yard, and there are 2 dog parks near my house, I usually let my dog plays there. The dogs in the park I meet are all super friendly! Besides, I have plenty of toys and treats in the house.
“Our pup, Monty, had a great stay with Souvik and Meghan. I would highly recommend to anyone, especially those who might be nervous about boarding their fur babies. It was Monty's first stay with non-family and from the first meeting I felt very comfortable! They answered all of my questions and gave us daily updates with pictures so we knew that he was settling in okay! They treated our pup like their own and we are so grateful!”

“Keith has such a great home for a dog - a nice fenced in yard, a great home to run around in, and close to plenty of parks to take dogs for great walks. He also send a ton of really great high quality pictures and some videos as well, so I always knew what my dog was up to.”

“Here’s a smoother version that keeps your meaning but sounds a bit more polished: Dina was wonderful with my dog! It was the first time I had ever left him with a sitter, so I was very anxious. She checked in regularly and sent multiple pictures of him happy, belly up, and cuddling with them, which really put my mind at ease. My dog has allergies and follows a strict prescription diet, and Dina was very attentive to all of his needs. I would definitely recommend her and would happily use her services again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Framingham
Maeve was amazing!! She took such good care of our dog while we were on vacation. She sent daily updates, lots of pictures, and was always quick to respond. This was our first time boarding our dog, and she made the experience so easy and stress free. We highly recommend her!!

Michael and Susan provided a wonderful home away from home for my older special needs pup. My Buddy is a sweetheart but he is 12 years old, blind and has diabetes. So he requires twice daily insulin injections. My usual Rover sitter cancelled a week before Buddy's 4th of July stay because of an urgent family matter, so I was a bit panicked about finding last minute holiday care for my special needs fur baby! Thankfully, even tho Michael had other pups booked, he came to the rescue! He scheduled a meet and greet, and Buddy made himself right at home in his lovely spacious back yard! Mike and his wife, Susan, were very hospitable, and Mike shared his experience giving dogs their medication by injection, so I felt confident leaving Buddy in his care. He sent me lots of smiling photos of Buddy 😂 (and his adorable canine housemates!) and a couple of fun videos which reassured me Buddy was in good hands and receiving lots of TLC!! Many thanks Mike and Susan and looking forward to booking another visit for Buddy soon❣️

Cora had the best experience staying with Dina and her dog, Skylar! We felt so comfortable having her stay for two nights, and Cora was very happy and relaxed at Dina’s home. We highly recommend Dina to anyone looking for a highly competent, kind, and loving dog sitter!

Liliya is wonderful! She has a very clean house, takes only one dog at a time and sends wonderful photos of our dog so we can stay connected! This is our third stay with her and our dog seems very happy at her house. I highly recommend Liliya and we will be going back to her for our next trip!

Cathy and her family took wonderful care of our two golden retrievers. We appreciated the updates and pictures, throughout each day, during our travels. Both Archie and Maggie always looked happy, having lots of fun and well loved each day while we were gone. Thank you Cathy for taking such good care of our dogs!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
