“Maeve greets Leo like he is her family member! He happily runs in and is at home immediately. She texts me photos every day and is accomodating when my drop off and pick up times are in flux. Great dog sitter!”

“We absolutely trust Kira and her family with our pup! She is wonderful, providing great communication and regular photo updates. We feel completely comfortable leaving her with Kira, and she comes back tired and happy.”
“Bridget was fabulous. Blue had some digestive issues. We communicated with Bridget ahead of time and she was extremely supportive and helpful. She administered new food and medicine while Blue was there. She is an absolute pro and awesome to work with!”

“Julie just watched my shihpoo Jasmine for the first visit. Jasmine and I recently relocated from Virginia to Massachusetts and she is experiencing severe separation anxiety. I had to make a trip out of town and Julie's expertise showed brilliantly. She was like a second mom to my precious pup and fulfilled my every hope and dream. A blessing indeed. Who can put a price on peace of mind?”

“Liliya and her family were great with Sophie. This was Sophie’s first experience staying with a sitter so I was a bit nervous how she would do. During Sophie’s stay Liliya sent many pics and updates about Sophie’s routine. This really put my mind at ease and Sophie seemed very content. I also love that Liliya, her husband and two young kids played a role in the sitting which means Sophie got lots of attention. I highly recommend Liliya! I will be using her again next time I travel.”

“If you are anywhere close to Sarah and Luis do not hesitate - JUST BOOK! Here is why; amazing communication from start to finish, meticulous home, exceptional understanding of dogs and their needs, kind and loving children, listened and respected to our care instructions, went above and beyond with our pup Riley's needs......THANK YOU Sarah we will be back!”

“It was awesome. She sent pictures and seems happy. He had never seen a cat up close and was napping with one! He seemed to have a great time. Can't thank her enough. I am typically nervous because he is almost 15 it was all good.”

“Nancy is very kind, loving and caring. My dog is old and timid and Nancy handled her care with exactly what my dog needed. Nancy is very gentle. I would highly recommend Nancy.”

“Ana took such good care of our pup Rosie! She was so easy to communicate with and sent daily updates, with pictures and videos! Rosie loved playing with her dog, Lola, and came home exhausted in the best way!”

“Sarah made sure Watson enjoyed his stay and even made new friends. He was happy to see me at the end but not frantic--a sign that he felt comfortable there. I was grateful to be able to relax on my trip knowing he was in good hands with a caring family. Would definitely leave him there again!”

“Laurie took great care of our dog for 10 days. We always hate leaving him but Laurie made sure to send us many photos and we knew he was in good hands. We’d definitely book with Laurie again.”

“We highly recommend Bo & Xiaosong. They took good care of our Dachshund Coco during our vacation and provided video updates from time to time. They were also very flexible with the drop off and pick up. Overall, it was a great experience.”

“Cathy and her family took wonderful care of our two golden retrievers. We appreciated the updates and pictures, throughout each day, during our travels. Both Archie and Maggie always looked happy, having lots of fun and well loved each day while we were gone. Thank you Cathy for taking such good care of our dogs!”

“This was the second time we had Lu care for Tashi. She sends daily photos and updates, asked thorough questions regarding care throughout stay, walks and plays with Tashi, provides a safe and clean home. You really can't ask for more. Thanks again Lu!”

“Erin was fantastic! My labradoodle stayed for a few days and got to go on walks with her doggies and play in her yard! I appreciate that she sent me pictures and that my pup had a comfortable and loving place to stay! :)”

She sent wonderful pictures and updates daily. I can tell Winnie got lots of attention, love & affection and we felt so at ease knowing she was in wonderful hands.”

I rent out my guest room and my roommate does have a chocolate lab part-time that he splits with his ex so there could be 2 dogs depending on dates. “Brittany was wonderful with our 5-month-old Ragdoll kitten. It was our first time leaving her for a weekend, and Brittany made the experience stress-free. She took great care of feeding and playing with her, kept her happy, and sent thoughtful photo updates that gave us real peace of mind. We wouldn’t hesitate to have her again.”

“It was great to have Sally visiting our little old lady cat while we were away. Getting photo texts of Willow every day chilling in all her favorite spots let us know that she was on vacation too! We also really appreciated Sally’s willingness to water the potato patch. Willow is looking forward to another vacation with Sally soon!”

“Wow what can I say, Auntie Tricia took after my little girl like she was her own! I cannot thank you enough for looking after my precious little fur baby Violet. I will be sure to book with you any time I need a sitter for my little kitty!”

“We had a great experience with Danya. She was always on time, sent us lots of photos and told us how they felt. The cats were calm and happy when we came back. I could see they were both brushed often and happy. She was easy to communicate with and just really a perfect cat sitter for our cats!”

“100/10, Lucy is incredibly trustworthy and nurturing, it is very clear to me how much she loves and cares for animals. She took care of my 2 kitties while I had to be away for work, I do not have a dog - I just want to be clear about that, because I’ve had no less than 5 other sitters watch my cats, and all of them have struggled. I think people think that cats are “easier”, but as a result they don’t end up getting all of the love and care they need. Anywho, that was not the case here at all, she did everything I asked her to do, even going above and beyond… and she sent me SO many pictures and videos… this was probably my easiest trip away, because I was getting so many updates from Lucy. It was also very clear to me that the kitties were excited to see her, they can be a little skeptical of new people but it was obvious to me that they connected with her. I could not be happier with Lucy, she’s a great sitter and I will hire her again on my future trips!! She’s very communicative as well, even keeping the schedule up to date with her arrival times. Thank you so much Lucy!! Your diligent care for Kelso and Kali brought me so much comfort!!”

“Linh was absolutely amazing. She kept us updated the entire time we were away and provided thoughtful, consistent communication. When our flights were delayed due to THE blizzard, she showed up without hesitation to make sure Sienna was taken care of. I would honestly recommend her to anyone using Rover who wants great service, excellent communication, and someone who will truly care for your fur babies like they’re her own.”

“Wendy is kind and trustworthy. She took the time to get to know my dog and made sure she was comfortable at the first visit. My dog is a unique breed so I really appreciated the patience. She was very professional!”

“Very efficient and on top of things! And Deirdre was very accommodating to changes in my schedule. Most surprising of all, she managed to make friends with both my cats on day one (they can be wary of new people). A++ would recommend”

“Nikkita was communicative and easy to work with! She helped out with a last minute request and was attentive, which made our dog’s first Rover visits very easy and enjoyable. Would book again!”

About: Hi! I’m Yasmin, and if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I’ve never met an animal I didn’t love. I grew up on a farm, so being around animals has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From furry to feathery to scaly, they’ve always had a special place in my heart. Over the years I’ve had all kinds of pets, from hermit crabs and fish to cats and dogs, and I can’t wait to have even more when the time is right! Because I genuinely love animals, I’ve spent a lot of time learning about their care, behavior, and what helps them feel happy and safe. I know every pet is different, and I love getting to know their unique personalities. When I’m not spending time with my own pets, I work as a realtor, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for yours. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just having someone nearby, I’m happy to match their pace and make them feel comfortable while you’re away. I’d love the chance to meet you and your best friend! My goal is to make sure you can leave knowing they’re in loving, reliable hands and maybe make a new furry (or scaly!) friend along the way. 🐾 My schedule is pretty flexible! During the week, I’m typically available after 2:00 PM unless I have a work appointment scheduled. Since I’m a realtor, my schedule can vary from day to day, but I do my best to keep my calendar up to date and communicate any changes. Fridays and weekends are a little less predictable. Some weekends I’m completely available, while others I may be booked with work or personal plans. When I am available on weekends, it’s usually between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. If you have a specific date or time in mind, feel free to reach out! I’m always happy to see if I can make it work for you and your pet. 🐾 While I won’t be caring for pets in my own home, I’d be more than happy to care for them in yours! I know every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I always appreciate detailed instructions. The more information you can share, the better I can make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being will always be my top priorities. I’ll treat them with the same love, patience, and attention I’d give my own pets, and I’ll always keep you updated for extra peace of mind. When it comes to walks, I’m especially mindful during the summer months. I prefer walking dogs on grassy or shaded paths whenever possible, and if it’s too hot outside, I’ll adjust our plans to keep them safe. Hot pavement can burn paw pads, and dogs can overheat quickly, so I always prioritize their comfort and safety over sticking to a schedule.
“Nat was pretty great in taking care of my babies. She was also very accommodating when my flight got canceled, so I needed her for an extra day. I will use her again.”

About: I'm a proud cat mom. My baby of 10 years (I adopted him as an adult), just passed after a long, happy life with a well-managed chronic illness and I am ready to show your special pal the love and deference they require. From experience with my own cat I have provided special food, daily medication, and for a time, subcutaneous fluids. As a pet parent, I have had both a more reserved friend and a lap-lover. I have taken care of shy friends and care for a diabetic cat multiple times and am comfortable providing injections. I have cat-sat for single cat households and multi-cat households. I really understand that cats like their places and their people and am ready to take your guidance, feel out the cat, and meet them where they are while you are away.
“Sarah was really great with our two cats! She was able to give our one cat the meds she needs and sent many updates throughout the week! She was very attentive and always answered right away. Definitely will book with Sarah again in the future!”

“First time using Conaire and I’m so pleased. She is always so responsive. She shared great photos from every visit, I could tell she was spending some quality time with my cats. I will definitely use her again.”

“Lindsey was great! Our cat is a little spicy, but she warmed up to Lindsey quickly, which is a true testament to her calming a sweet nature. She truly cares for the animals she looks after. We will definitely rebook Lindsey in the future!”

About: When I lived in Brazil, there was such a surplus of dogs in the area I was located and my family and I were the family on the block to rescue everyone we could. I drive special needs kids to/from school and at the moment I am blessed to have spots in my schedule between driving., therefore I free on hours where a lot of people are usually working. My apartment has a wash room special for dogs only. And dogs don’t pay rent at all. I’m around dogs and kids all day long!

“Nancy has been a fantastic caregiver for my dog! Her communication is thorough, she sends me pictures throughout the day, and she has been really wonderful about all of my pet’s medical needs. She feels like a real partner! A+ for Nancy!”

About: I have over four years of experience in the dog care industry, including working in dog daycares and as a professional dog walker. I have developed a strong connection with dogs, as well as a solid understanding of their behavior, body language, and needs. My experience has allowed me to confidently manage groups of dogs and ensure a safe, enriching environment for each one. Taking care of my pet is a natural and important part of my daily and weekly routine. I've always had a strong love for animals, especially dogs, so making sure they’re happy, healthy, and well cared for is something I take seriously. From feeding and walking to playtime and naps, these tasks are part of my everyday life. My pet is more than just an animal—they’re family, and their well-being is always a priority for me. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. I have a very friendly female dog who gets along well with others, which helps new dogs feel at ease. My apartment is cozy and has enough space for them to relax, and we’re lucky to have green areas and a dog park nearby where they can walk, play, and burn off energy. I always follow each pet's routine and needs, whether it's feeding, walks, playtime, or just quiet time. Their comfort and happiness come first.
“Sara was wonderful with my puppy and young adult dogs, and very accommodating of my lazy Saturday schedule. The pups were happy and relaxed, and Sara had only nice things to say about them, when I came to get them from a day of doggie daycare and slept like rocks—clearly exhausted from a day of nonstop play in Sara’s yard. Would definitely recommend!”

About: Hello! My husband and I are relatively new to being on the care taker end of Rover. But better late than never! A little about us: We live in a spacious house with a yard with 2 cats and 1 dog (and no kids). We also work from home so we are able to pay lots of attention to our pets and yours! I, myself, am an animal lover with years of volunteer work experience in shelters and zoos. I have grown up in a household with many types of pets from dogs and cats to turtles and chickens and peacocks! We fall in love with every animal we meet, and would love to host your pet when they need us! Both me and my husband work from home and always spend tons of time with our pets including pets and walks and play time and cuddles! We have a large tard with a 6-foot fence. We have two cats and a dog but we can dedicate an entire floor to your pets and spend time with them if separation is necessary from other animals. In the case that the animals don’t get along, we also tend to put our pets in different rooms and spend time with your pet in the main living area. But our pets are very friendly!
“Onyx had a great day at daycare with Julie! I received pictures throughout the day and updates on how his day went. I will definitely use Julie again in the future! Thank you!”

“Strudel had a great time with tons of space to run and play and two other friendly dogs to play with. Souvik and Meghan were attentive, answered all of our questions immediately, and sent periodic updates of Strudel's adventures playing with the other pups and on walks.”

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life and had one of my own until recently. Having dogs in my lives has brought me immense joy! I will treat and care for your dog as if they were a part of my family. I am very reliable and responsible, and I have transportation available for pick-up and drop-off if needed. I would be delighted to take care of your pet! I work from home most of the times and have a pretty flexible schedule! I usually walk my in the morning and before sunset every day, each around 30 minutes, but could increase the frequency if your dog needed! I have a fenced yard, and there are 2 dog parks near my house, I usually let my dog plays there. The dogs in the park I meet are all super friendly! Besides, I have plenty of toys and treats in the house.
“She was by far the best dog sitter I’ve had in 13 years. She’s clearly doing it for the love of dogs! She was so kind and loving to my Maltese. My dog takes along time warming up to people and has a severe separation anxiety but she hit it off with Juyeon right away! 🫶🏻💕💕 I absolutely recommend her!”

She responded quickly to messages in the app and then suggested setting up a meet & greet where she asked great questions about our dog’s routine and habits. “Julianna was great, she took our black lab Sophie on several walks this week and played ball with her outside despite the cold/heavy snow. She is reliable, kind and clearly comfortable with dogs.”

“Flexible, professional, excellent communication is Kianna’s business side. Creative, adventurous, intuitive, loving and warm is how Kianna is with our painfully shy rescue pup. Our pup Sally adores her. Kianna takes many photos of their time together ( which brightens my busy workdays!) and just took a beautiful video of the two of them - as their relationship has blossomed over the months - that I will save and cherish forever. Kianna is special! Thank you Kianna!”

“We couldn't be happier with Nick's dog-walking services! Our energetic puppy absolutely loves his walks with Nick. After just two weeks of service, we can see a significant positive impact on our pup's behavior and overall happiness. Nick is just what we needed—reliable, friendly, and great with our furry friend. Highly recommended!”

“Ana is always prompt & really enjoys Clover. It’s obvious she has a great move of animals. And she always flexible with times & days to walk. Clover seems to really enjoy time with Ana.”

“Sally was absolutely wonderful! We had just moved to the area and our dog was still adjusting to the move. I was worried about finding someone to look in and walk our dog while I was on vacation (and my husband is gone most the day) until I found Sally. Sally met our dog before caring for him and he immediately felt comfortable around her and wanted her to play. Sally is friendly, reliable and a great communicator. She sent regular updates with pictures and took excellent care of our dog. I had an enjoyable vacation knowing our dog was happy and in great hands. I will definitely use Sally again and I highly recommend her!”

“Here’s a smoother version that keeps your meaning but sounds a bit more polished: Dina was wonderful with my dog! It was the first time I had ever left him with a sitter, so I was very anxious. She checked in regularly and sent multiple pictures of him happy, belly up, and cuddling with them, which really put my mind at ease. My dog has allergies and follows a strict prescription diet, and Dina was very attentive to all of his needs. I would definitely recommend her and would happily use her services again!”

“Francois is everything you could want in a pet sitter. He’s very obviously a true animal lover — kind and caring — and he’s very responsible. We left our 4 month old Airedale puppy with him for 4 nights while we went overseas, and it was such a comfort to have Francois send us regular updates and photos showing what a lovely time he and Biggles were having. If you are looking for a loving home-away-from-home for your pet, you have found it. Thank you, Francois!!”

“Aga was wonderful with taking care of our dog for almost a week! She sent anywhere between 5-10 pictures a day and kept us updated with how she was doing. Keira came home to us happy and exhausted after playing with the other dogs that Aga was watching. We would highly recommend!”

“Becky took such great care of our 2yr old mini-Aussie for two weeks so we could take an extended trip this summer. The day before we left, he licked a hot spot in his paw so we had to leave him with meds, a spray and a cone. Becky didn’t seem bothered by it at all and was gracious and caring and updated us with pics of our pup and his paw so we were at ease. Won’t hesitate to have Becky watch him again!”

“Elaine is tremendous and we are so thankful to have found her, and to have a relationship! She knows dogs well - the breeds and their temperments. Elaine has a wonderful way about her and how she engages with dogs that are subtle, and makes the dog feel so warm and loved. She does understand how to recognize what the needs of new puppies are and how to help them, help themsleves, appropriately. She was thoughtful in how she consistently communicated with us throughout the time that we were away. Elaine is just a lovely human being and our dog Ridley couldn't have been happier to have spent his vacation time with Elaine and her husband!!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Hugo and Julia. Both my dogs were very well taken care of. Hugo and Julia gave daily updates on their well being. They were very attentive and caring!!”

“Ryan and his family were excellent! Brady began feeling under the weather before a big trip and couldn’t attend his usual boarding. Ryan took him in on almost no notice and made Brady feel right at home. We got updates on Brady’s walks, daily activities, how he was feeling and nice pictures of him in their home. Appreciate you taking such good care of him!”
