“Adonis was with Julie for a 2 week stay and had a blast! He quickly settled into her house and almost immediately took ownership of protecting her from all squirrels and other animals outside the house. He loves to play and Julie was awesome about sending us pictures of his stay with her. She was great with his food and even went the extra mile to feed him alternate food when he was not eating one day. Adonis bonded with Julie and we would love to have him stay with her again!”

“Liliya and her family took great care of our dog Luna while we were out of town, and we felt very comfortable that Luna was in great hands with them. We also loved getting lots of updates and photos. We will definitely be calling them again the next time we’re away. :) Thank you Liliya!”

“When I leave my dog with Kira and her family I am confident she will get good care and lots of attention. Plus the fun of playing with other dogs. Cindy has been there three times and I will bring her back next time I am traveling.”

“We felt very comfortable and secure leaving our senior dog with Bridget for a long weekend. Bridget was highly communicative and kind. Marbles has a couple specialized needs that she easily accommodated (i.e., twice daily pill administration and avoidance of other dogs). Marbles tends to be anxious when without us but I could tell she felt at ease with Bridget from the pictures that she shared with us. We will rebook for sure!”

“Ana took such good care of our pup Rosie! She was so easy to communicate with and sent daily updates, with pictures and videos! Rosie loved playing with her dog, Lola, and came home exhausted in the best way!”

“My dogs loved Sara from the first visit a couple of months before their stay. We came back on drop off day and they couldn’t wait to go inside. The occasional photos of the dogs playing were perfect. And the dogs looked great when we came home! Thanks for taking good care of our kids and we will see you next time!”
“Nancy was great with our dog. She has two dogs of her on and we set up a time before to meet her dogs where to make sure they got along. Nancy had a great set up at the house with a fenced in back yard and allowed our dog to sleep anywhere her wanted even in the bed with the other dogs. She sent daily pictures and updates which were nice to see. I would recommend her to take care of your dog.”

“Mliss was amazing! The pre-stay meeting went great. Throughout the stay, Mliss sent many updates and pictures. Looks like Bella had a great time. Would highly recommend.”

“This was the second time we had Lu care for Tashi. She sends daily photos and updates, asked thorough questions regarding care throughout stay, walks and plays with Tashi, provides a safe and clean home. You really can't ask for more. Thanks again Lu!”

“Buddy received lots of attention, had a great time, and was well taken care of. I got pictures everyday. He was boarded for a week and a half and I would recommend.”

“I had such a wonderful experience with Sarah and her family watching my dog while I was traveling out of the country. They were caring, communicative, and made me feel completely at ease knowing my dog was in good hands. I appreciated the updates and could tell she was well loved and cared for. Would absolutely book with them again!”

About: I have a 5-year-old border collie. He’s very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I live in a town house so I don’t have a yard per say. I typically take my dog to parks/fields in Ashland to hike or run around. I typically walk my border collie about 4 miles a day as well. I work remote so I am usually home. Available 7 days a week. I usually go to the gym for a few hours each day but try to be home for my dog to keep him active as a herding dog (border collie) I will do 2 long walks per day typically (2 miles each). I will also take my dog and yours hiking or to a field/park but not a dog park. I can go to a fenced in field if needed for your dog. Mine doesn’t need a fence.
“Erin took great care of our dog and was quick with communication. Receiving daily photos was so helpful. Erin also took the extra step to help our dog when something came up during his stay, we appreciate the care and attention. Thank you, Erin!”

“Our 10 month old golden retriever had a great time staying with Dina. She was able to accommodate us last minute. She was wonderful with him! Her communication was much appreciated during our time away. We will 100% be using Dina in the near future.”

“Milo enjoyed his stay. I got photos of Milo reassuring me that Milo is in good care. She gave Milo his meds without pause (which was an unexpected last minute thing). I would definitely have Laurie watch Milo again.”

“Tomoe and her entire family were amazing, and my dog quickly adopted them as his second family! Tomoe loves dogs and totally understands how important a caring dog sitter needs to be. She kept me aprised of my dog Muskies daily routine, with daily written descriptions and photos and videos. She cared for my dog for 10 days and treated him as her own, following all my instructions to the letter. I have used two other sitters(not from Rover but though recommendations) and neither even came close to the care and bond that my dog received with Tomoe. She played with him, took him for walks and to the dog park where my dog could meet and play with other dogs . In addition to her care, the rest of her family were also fantastic and played with my dog until he was played out! She is highly educated in the ways of dogdom, and truly has a passion for her work as a dog sitter. If I could give her 10 stars I would....I only hope she has availability the next time I need her services since once you have experienced the best there is no going anywhere else!”

About: I have over four years of experience in the dog care industry, including working in dog daycares and as a professional dog walker. I have developed a strong connection with dogs, as well as a solid understanding of their behavior, body language, and needs. My experience has allowed me to confidently manage groups of dogs and ensure a safe, enriching environment for each one. Taking care of my pet is a natural and important part of my daily and weekly routine. I've always had a strong love for animals, especially dogs, so making sure they’re happy, healthy, and well cared for is something I take seriously. From feeding and walking to playtime and naps, these tasks are part of my everyday life. My pet is more than just an animal—they’re family, and their well-being is always a priority for me. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. I have a very friendly female dog who gets along well with others, which helps new dogs feel at ease. My apartment is cozy and has enough space for them to relax, and we’re lucky to have green areas and a dog park nearby where they can walk, play, and burn off energy. I always follow each pet's routine and needs, whether it's feeding, walks, playtime, or just quiet time. Their comfort and happiness come first.
About: Hello! My husband and I are relatively new to being on the care taker end of Rover. But better late than never! A little about us: We live in a spacious house with a yard with 2 cats and 1 dog (and no kids). We also work from home so we are able to pay lots of attention to our pets and yours! I, myself, am an animal lover with years of volunteer work experience in shelters and zoos. I have grown up in a household with many types of pets from dogs and cats to turtles and chickens and peacocks! We fall in love with every animal we meet, and would love to host your pet when they need us! Both me and my husband work from home and always spend tons of time with our pets including pets and walks and play time and cuddles! We have a large tard with a 6-foot fence. We have two cats and a dog but we can dedicate an entire floor to your pets and spend time with them if separation is necessary from other animals. In the case that the animals don’t get along, we also tend to put our pets in different rooms and spend time with your pet in the main living area. But our pets are very friendly!
“Onyx had a great day at daycare with Julie! I received pictures throughout the day and updates on how his day went. I will definitely use Julie again in the future! Thank you!”

About: I have been a Retriever mom (Golden & Labrador) all my life. I love them with all my heart, but I also understand they need discipline. I will make sure they will be well cared for. About: I’ve had dogs for a majority of my life. I specialize in dogs that pull, are reactive, or have trouble walking on a leash. I do pet care and dog walking full-time, so I am very dedicated to providing the best care to your animal. I am available whenever needed and love to go above and beyond for your animal. I tried to provide the same care for your animal that you would. Providing meals and walks at the same frequency and time as there usual routine.
About: I have been walking dogs and pet sitting in the Metrowest now for about two years. Prior to that , I raised two large, mixed-breed dogs in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. I have stellar references from many happy customers. I also enjoy photographing your pet and providing you with these pictures at no cost. As a former teacher, I am loving, patient and kind and utilize my teaching skills to help me communicate with animals as well as support basic training goals. The pet sitting fee covers a 24 hour period of which I am totally committed to your “baby.” I may leave the home for an hour or two to do one other dog walk, or pick up some groceries, but I would not be away from your dog for more than three hours max, or less as determined by a discussion with pet parents. If your dog needs less time, opening up my availability to add additional walks, I would consider lowering the fee. This would be determined on a case by case basis and after a discussion with the dog parents. Pet Sitting in the pet’s home provides animals with the comfort and security of following their daily routine and remaining in a secure and familiar environment, thus alleviating any anxiety they might suffer from your absence.
About: Hi! I’m Yasmin, and if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that I’ve never met an animal I didn’t love. I grew up on a farm, so being around animals has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. From furry to feathery to scaly, they’ve always had a special place in my heart. Over the years I’ve had all kinds of pets, from hermit crabs and fish to cats and dogs, and I can’t wait to have even more when the time is right! Because I genuinely love animals, I’ve spent a lot of time learning about their care, behavior, and what helps them feel happy and safe. I know every pet is different, and I love getting to know their unique personalities. When I’m not spending time with my own pets, I work as a realtor, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for yours. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just having someone nearby, I’m happy to match their pace and make them feel comfortable while you’re away. I’d love the chance to meet you and your best friend! My goal is to make sure you can leave knowing they’re in loving, reliable hands and maybe make a new furry (or scaly!) friend along the way. 🐾 My schedule is pretty flexible! During the week, I’m typically available after 2:00 PM unless I have a work appointment scheduled. Since I’m a realtor, my schedule can vary from day to day, but I do my best to keep my calendar up to date and communicate any changes. Fridays and weekends are a little less predictable. Some weekends I’m completely available, while others I may be booked with work or personal plans. When I am available on weekends, it’s usually between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. If you have a specific date or time in mind, feel free to reach out! I’m always happy to see if I can make it work for you and your pet. 🐾 While I won’t be caring for pets in my own home, I’d be more than happy to care for them in yours! I know every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I always appreciate detailed instructions. The more information you can share, the better I can make sure your pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being will always be my top priorities. I’ll treat them with the same love, patience, and attention I’d give my own pets, and I’ll always keep you updated for extra peace of mind. When it comes to walks, I’m especially mindful during the summer months. I prefer walking dogs on grassy or shaded paths whenever possible, and if it’s too hot outside, I’ll adjust our plans to keep them safe. Hot pavement can burn paw pads, and dogs can overheat quickly, so I always prioritize their comfort and safety over sticking to a schedule.
