About: I have a 5-year-old border collie. He’s very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I live in a town house so I don’t have a yard per say. I typically take my dog to parks/fields in Ashland to hike or run around. I typically walk my border collie about 4 miles a day as well. I work remote so I am usually home. Available 7 days a week. I usually go to the gym for a few hours each day but try to be home for my dog to keep him active as a herding dog (border collie) I will do 2 long walks per day typically (2 miles each). I will also take my dog and yours hiking or to a field/park but not a dog park. I can go to a fenced in field if needed for your dog. Mine doesn’t need a fence.

I have also owned and cared for large-breed dogs throughout my life, including Dobermans, Rottweilers and pit bulls, so I am genuinely comfortable with big dogs. I understand that a 90-pound dog who is excited to see you is a very different experience from walking a 15-pound dog! I have experience administering subcutaneous medications to my own pets and am comfortable giving oral medications as directed. I am also happy to follow specific feeding, walking and care routines. Most importantly, I treat each pet as an individual. I want to know their routine, quirks, favorite things and what makes them comfortable so I can care for them the way you would. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to accommodate weekday walks and drop-in visits throughout the day, including the popular midday hours. I’m also available for morning and evening visits and can often accommodate weekends with advance notice. I’m happy to work with recurring weekly schedules as well as occasional care when you’re traveling or have a long day away from home. I care for pets in their own home with the same attention and respect I would expect for my own. I carefully follow each pet’s feeding, walking and medication instructions, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure pets are safely settled before I leave. I'm so happy that we found Cathy! Cathy took such great care of Rosie & Emmy while we were away for 10 days. She sent us photos of our pups each day and gave us regular updates. She administered their meds and even let them cuddle up on her furniture as if they were at home. I would highly recommend Cathy as a sitter and plan to work with her again when we go away.
Our two dogs had a wonderful time with Sara. She has a fantastic backyard for playing and is in a great area for walks.. Our dogs had so much fun and they are really tired out! We are very appreciative to have met Sara and are thankful to be able to count on her for future trips!

We felt very comfortable and secure leaving our senior dog with Bridget for a long weekend. Bridget was highly communicative and kind. Marbles has a couple specialized needs that she easily accommodated (i.e., twice daily pill administration and avoidance of other dogs). Marbles tends to be anxious when without us but I could tell she felt at ease with Bridget from the pictures that she shared with us. We will rebook for sure!
We couldn't have asked for a better experience boarding our lab with Jennifer! It's clear she genuinely loves dogs — she's experienced, knows exactly what she's doing, and her home is wonderfully set up for pups, including a fenced-in yard Libby loved exploring. From day one, she put us completely at ease. Communication was terrific: the regular photos and updates were so reassuring, and it was obvious Libby was happy, comfortable, and in great hands. She had so much fun playing and hanging out with Leo and came home content after her stay with her new friend. We're truly grateful for the love and attention Jennifer gave her, and we hope to book again soon. Highly recommend!
