“Kira and Steve are the best- Winston always has a great time and comes home happy and sleepy! They are true dog lovers and take great care to make sure you always know how your dog is doing. Thank you!”

“Bridget was fabulous. Blue had some digestive issues. We communicated with Bridget ahead of time and she was extremely supportive and helpful. She administered new food and medicine while Blue was there. She is an absolute pro and awesome to work with!”

“Francois was extremely communicative and took great care of our pup while we were traveling. He made me feel confident that she was well cared for and loved while we were gone. She returned home happy and healthy.”

“Julie watched our dog Winnie for a week while we were in Ohio, and she was absolutely great. She was very personable, kept us updated the whole time on how Winnie was doing, and sent plenty of pictures, which we really appreciated. I was a little worried because Winnie can be a lot to handle sometimes, but Julie did amazing with her and Winnie clearly loved her. We would definitely use her again and highly recommend her!”

“Bodhi was well taken care of at Sarah’s house and got to spend time with another pup as well as be showered with affection from the family. Was nervous leaving him for first time but Sarah gave good updates and sent lots of photos which helped. Will def be using again in the future!”

“Lilith and her family are so nice and sent so many great pics of Snooki. I could tell she was well cared for and loved while we were gone. The home is pristine and in a great neighborhood for pups. Will definitely leave Snooki with Liliya again!”

“My pup Lyla had a fantastic stay with Yick-Hong and his wife for a week! All the pictures they sent me she looked so happy and relaxed. She even was sleeping on her back because she was so comfortable (vulnerable position for dogs). They took her on walks to new areas which she loves and even ran with her because they could tell she enjoyed it. They also provided detailed daily updates and were responsive to any messages I sent. I will definitely have Lyla stay with them again!”

“We left our cat Billie at Jessie and her family’s house. She did a meet and greet before boarding and took the time to get to know Billie before we went ahead! She was knowledgeable and very caring! Billie loved it there and we got so many videos/pics/updates. I had specific directions for feeding and they followed directions very well. Also really loved Jessie’s Parents as they were always there so Billie always had someone taking care of him if Jessie had to go out. Definitely will book again and so happy to have finally found a reliable sitter ❤️”

“This is our second time leaving our dog with Robert and his family. Once again we could not have asked for better sitters for our Snowy. So nice and responsive, send daily updates, love our dog. What more could you ask for?”

“We are so fortunate to have found Aga! Our two dogs stayed with Aga for nearly three weeks while we were traveling, and they were so well cared for. One of our dogs has a special diet, and the other is on medications, and Aga was happy to accommodate both of them. They went for many walks (even while it was snowing) and played a lot of fetch--in fact, we think our dogs may be bored now that they're home and not with Aga! She truly treated them as if they were her own. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional dog sitter.”

“Sarah is the best and so great with our Piper! Piper always loves to visit Sarah's family and we are completely confident that Piper's in safe, loving hands at Sarah's place. Thank you, Sarah!”

“This is the second time Jennifer has watched our pup Tashi. She was also able to watch his buddy Murphy, a 13 year old Wheaten Terrier. Murphy is an older pup and needed additional care with more frequent potty outings, 3 different daily hand fed medication, and extra belly rubs! Jennifer did it all and more. She is great with the pups and reached out frequently with questions to ensure things were done correctly. She sends photos and updates through the day. It is so nice and relaxing to know your pup will be well taken care of when you have to be away from them.”

“Thank you for looking after our dogs! Ling and Ye sent lots of photos of our two midsize labradoodles on walks and getting cuddles during their stay. And they came home calm and relaxed afterwards - a sign that they were happy while during their stay. Our dogs can get nervous around large male dogs, but their dog Brody (large labradoodle) is a gentle giant who immediately got on with our dogs, but also gave them their own space. We appreciate Ling and Ye's kindness towards our dogs!”

“Whitney was great with Jellybean! I received daily updates and pictures. Whitney was a great communicator and took the time to do a virtual meet and greet before I dropped bean off for the first time, which I greatly appreciated!”

“Rebecca is absolutely wonderful and we are so lucky we found her to help take care of our dog Winnie when we were out of town. She went out of her way making sure Winnie felt loved and took great care of her for us. She kept in touch with us and we did not worry for a second knowing Winnie was in great hands. I cannot recommend Rebecca enough!”

“Ryan did a great job boarding my dog, Stella. He took the time to understand her needs and preferences, and she came back from her stay happy and exhausted. Ryan was very responsive and sent daily pictures and updates.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Wayland
Katherine and Sean were great with our dog Evie. Their house and yard are set up well for dogs and they're very comfortable with helping them get adjusted to a new setting. Our Evie can be quite shy but they welcomed her with open arms, picked a great time of day for her walks, and were great with her diet and hygiene needs. She clearly received great care from them!

Paige was great!!! This was our first time using this service and we could not be happier. She checked in with us daily with pictures and updates. Our dogs are older so we did not know how they would do. She was so good with them. It was very comforting to know they were in such good care while we were away. We would definitely book with her again!

Sarah is INCREDIBLE. She gave us the peace of mind we needed on our vacation. She gave us regular updates on how our pup was doing. She sent pics throughout the day. She took our pup on regular long walks and gave her TLC at night. Her kids also loved on our girl which was the most beautiful perk. I'm trying to plan another vacation already so that our pup can get more time with Sarah.

Sneha was wonderful with my pup. He loves being with other dogs and having a new friend for a couple of days made him super happy. She made sure all his needs were met, even his special diet as he is allergic to some food, she made sure that he didnt "accidentally" end up eating the other dog's food as he is often known to do. I would definitely come back!

Jennifer and her family were great! Our dog Rosie had a wonderful time playing with her dogs, running around the fenced yard, and snuggling on the couch. She came home happy and tired. Communication and drop off/pickup were easy. We’d definitely book with Jennifer again!

As first time Rover customers we were a bit nervous about leaving our dog. We took our dog to meet with Ryan a few weeks before our trip, which made us feel comfortable about leaving him. Ryan took wonderful care of our wheaten terrier for the week we were away. He sent daily photos/videos of Finn and told us how things went that day. We really appreciate that he took him out for walks. If we need a dog sitter again we will definitely ask Ryan!

This is the second time our dog, James, has stayed with Iana, his favorite sitter. She sent us a video and many pictures daily, keeping us updated on how he was doing. James looked so happy and relaxed, clearly enjoying himself in a familiar and loving environment. We will definitely ask her to take care of him again!

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
