About: I love all furry friends - I have a lovely cat, and I enjoy taking care of my friends’ puppies short or long terms. Taking them to long walks is my favorite part! I work on a flexible schedule, so I’m available on most weekday mornings or afternoons. I’d be ou-of-town on some weekends so pls let me know what’s your schedule like if pup needs walks on weekends! I have leashes (non-retractable) for small and medium dogs. I’m confident keeping pups of these sizes safe from traffic / other animals all the time. It’ll definitely be a plus if your pup know some commands!
“Just the sweetest! Our very shy doggies loved Lucy. She went at a speed that was comfortable for them. Reliable and sent lots of updates and kept great notes!”

“Wendy was wonderful! She was dependable and very caring for our 13 + year old dog. It was obvious when Wendy arrived one day b-4 we got out the door how happy Lady was to see her. Highly recommend! John and Di”

“Ari is fantastic and took such good care of our kitties while we were away! Especially our senior kitty that needed a lot of daily pills. I really appreciated Ari’s thorough communication and picture updates. It was a great relief knowing our babies were well cared for!”

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. Growing up around dogs and other animals, I developed a deep appreciation for understanding each pet’s unique personality, needs, and quirks. Today, our home is a safe, loving environment where every dog is treated like family. I work from home with a flexible schedule, ensuring that dogs in my care receive frequent supervision, companionship, exercise, and affection throughout the day. Whether your pup enjoys active walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, or simply relaxing with people nearby, I tailor their experience to match their individual needs and comfort level. Our family plays a big role in making every dog feel welcome. Our teenagers absolutely love dogs and enjoy spending time with them, whether it’s playing fetch, giving belly rubs, going on walks, or simply showering them with attention and affection. Dogs staying with us quickly become part of the family and receive plenty of love, companionship, and one-on-one interaction throughout their stay. We are fortunate to have a large backyard and direct access to a beautiful conservation area, providing endless opportunities for exercise, exploration, and outdoor enrichment. From leisurely walks and nature adventures to active play sessions, dogs have plenty of space to stretch their legs, burn energy, and enjoy the outdoors in a safe and supervised environment. What I Offer * Large backyard with direct access to a conservation area * Daily walks, outdoor adventures, and enrichment activities * Consistent supervision and companionship * Personalized care based on your dog’s personality and routine * A calm, family-oriented environment * Lots of love and attention from our dog-loving teens * Regular updates and communication for peace of mind Please Note * Boarding pick-ups and drop-offs are preferred between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. * Additional fees may apply for dogs requiring significantly more care than average. * New Dog Trial Stay: For new dogs, I recommend starting with a one-night stay so we can get to know each other, understand their routine and needs, and make sure they’re comfortable before booking a longer stay in the future. Additional Care Fees Because some dogs require substantially more time, supervision, and individualized attention, the following surcharges may apply: * Puppies under 1 year old: +$10–$20 per day (depending on age, training level, and care requirements) * Dogs with separation anxiety, generalized anxiety, or those requiring constant supervision: +$10–$20 per day * Large dogs (50+ lbs.) requiring additional handling, exercise, or supervision: Fee determined during the meet-and-greet * Untrained dogs or dogs not fully housebroken: Fee determined during the meet-and-greet I will discuss all pricing transparently during the meet-and-greet to ensure the best fit for both your dog and our home. I have experience caring for dogs of various breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments. I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to learn about their routines, commands, preferences, and behaviors before their stay. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, playful, or enjoys a quieter environment, we adapt our care to help them feel right at home. My goal is to create an stress-free experience for both pets and their owners by providing dependable, attentive, and personalized care. Plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles (when welcomed), and individualized attention are all part of the experience. I have a 9 years old, friendly doodle to keep your furry family member company while you are away. I can crate or provide a calm private space, if needed.
“This is the second time Danya say for me, and she was again terrific - great communication, food everything she was asked, wonderful updates. My 3 cats have a bit of a complicated routine, so I really appreciated her diligence.”

“Aga came and did a meet and greet a few days before we went out of town. She was on-time, kind, and communicative. She sent photos of all our animals when she came for a drop-in. Will definitely hire Aga again!”

“Linh was absolutely amazing. She kept us updated the entire time we were away and provided thoughtful, consistent communication. When our flights were delayed due to THE blizzard, she showed up without hesitation to make sure Sienna was taken care of. I would honestly recommend her to anyone using Rover who wants great service, excellent communication, and someone who will truly care for your fur babies like they’re her own.”

“Stephanie was wonderful! Very responsive, friendly, and took a lot of great photos and videos of my cats while I was missing them on my trip. I would definitely book with her again!”

About: I have worked for the WAG! app for over a year now. I've always enjoyed caring for friends and neighbors pets when they were away from home. I've also always had at least 2 pets of my own. I'm currently taking the year off to go back to school. Since all of my courses are online, I am able to remain home each day to care for the animals in my care. I have a large yard that is partially fenced in with a very long run setup across the yard. I also live extremely close to walking trails and have private beach access.
“Such good care for our cats! Even when one cat developed an allergy and unexpectedly needed some meds while we were away, Michelle took excellent care of her. Will be happy to use again.”

“Phoebe watched our dog for the first time this past weekend. She managed to win her over pretty quickly. She did drop in visits. She was prompt and kept us informed the whole time. She used the Rover app to let us know when she came and how long she stayed, so no worry on our part. She also set lots of photos. We will definitely have her back!”

“Brenda is great. Very responsible, reliable and flexible. And she has a great manner with the dogs. I like things done a certain way, and she totally gets that which I really appreciate!”

About: We can provide a fun structured space for your dog. We both have experience with younger hyper dogs as well as the slower older dogs and we love walks just as much as they do. I drive a truck that is very used to having dogs in it and Daisy comes with us most everywhere if she has any say! Sasha is a 45lb rescue brindle hound mix that is very friendly and loves playing with other dogs. Daisy is the newest addition and just turned 1yr old in July! She's very friendly and loves making new friends. My fiancé and I both have experience dealing with a wide array of dogs. We have a large clean crate and large collapsible pen. We are very adaptable to most needs for our furry friends! We do work full time (9-5) but assuming they can wait the work day we will have a great time! Otherwise weekends are usually wide open for doggytime! We Do prefer to use crates for the dogs during the workday, but plenty of walks and playtime after 5pm and all weekend! We use our crate and large pen when needed but we also have a spare room and basement area for the dogs when we have multiple visitors. Daisy is friendly and doesn't mind sharing her space/toys etc.

Lucy took great care of my cat Nami while I was away for 8 days. She had tried best to accompany her given the limited time, and made various attempts to play with her. She also sent many videos and long stories. She had been very prompt with our appointments. Thank you for the patience with Nami!

Isabella was an excellent pet sitter! She took wonderful care of my cats and gave them plenty of attention while I was away. She sent lots of photos and updates and spent quality time playing with them and making sure they were happy and comfortable. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
