Outside of my morning classes, I am a full-time Rover sitter and absolutely love my job. My schedule is very open because I just moved back here! A few things to note if you are booking with me: For walks and drop-ins, a $5 compensation fee will be applied if you book me for that day. For walks and drop ins, a $3 compensation fee will be applied if you live over 5 miles away from me. For house sits the compensation fee is $9 per day. Animals are my therapy, so I will try to help in any way I can!

I try to be very prompt about feeding times and walk times because I know how important schedules can be for our pets. I make sure to play and cuddle with my pets every day, but know how to give them their space if they are not in the mood. I will aim to care for your pet(s) as close as how you would treat them if you were there, and will be responsible for them as if they are my own.

Please let me know if there are any needs or behaviors unique to your animals(s) that I should be aware of. If your pet is strict about any sort of care (eating times, medications, exercising every # of minutes, etc) I'll need to know. Also, inform me about what your cat or dog's favorite things are! I want them to have a great time with me. Lastly, if you are booking a house sitting, please let me know if you need me there full time! Otherwise I will be out doing a few drop-ins or walks for other animals in need of care.

The first thing I will do once booked is ask you how to best take care of your furry friend and what their routines are like. If your dog is active, I am more than happy to add sprints into our walks or chase each other around at the park. I'm usually unable to resist giving the animal I'm watching a deluxe pet-down while we hang out with each other and love to give treats (if they are allowed) before I say goodbye. Care for cats will include play time and snuggles, times for each varying based on your kitty's energy.

Our cat, Rubyn, has diabetes that requires an insulin shot twice a day so finding a reliable sitter that we can trust to provide those shots while spending quality time with him has been challenging. Luckily we found Lucy! She was fantastic. She clearly made Rubyn very comfortable based off of the numerous picture and videos she sent along with the detailed report cards. We were extremely nervous to go away on this trip but each update put me and my wife more and more at ease. She showed so much love and affection to our little guy. We can’t recommend Lucy enough! We’ll definitely be using her again

Lucy took excellent care of our dog Lincoln, taking her time to let him warm up to her and sharing thorough updates with us. She even snagged some great photos of our un-photogenic boy. Happy to have her keep taking care of our pup! Highly recommend.
