About: I love all furry friends - I have a lovely cat, and I enjoy taking care of my friends’ puppies short or long terms. Taking them to long walks is my favorite part! I work on a flexible schedule, so I’m available on most weekday mornings or afternoons. I’d be ou-of-town on some weekends so pls let me know what’s your schedule like if pup needs walks on weekends! I have leashes (non-retractable) for small and medium dogs. I’m confident keeping pups of these sizes safe from traffic / other animals all the time. It’ll definitely be a plus if your pup know some commands!

My dog, Declan is so much happier when I come home now that he gets a walk while I'm gone. Kenzie is so good with him and he is always so excited when Kenzie comes in. Kenzie sends regular updates and pictures of how my pup is doing and is very responsive. Highly recommend Kenzie if you need a wonderful dog walker!

About: Along with growing up with two dogs and helping to raise a puppy as a teenager, family friends and neighbors have relied on me to take care of their dogs and cats since I was ten. I've worked with all types of dogs, from Shih Tzus to Pit Bull mixes. I'm the one in my family who takes the dogs out on long hikes (or for short walks around the block once they get older), brushes their teeth and fur, gives them baths, and trims their nails. I'm a regular volunteer at cat shelters in cat care, and as a student on the pre-veterinary track, I have shadowed and volunteered at vet clinics to better understand the care that goes into your pets' health. Besides dogs and cats, I also have experience with a myriad of animals, such as hamsters, rabbits, chinchillas, guinea pigs, mice, fish, hermit crabs, geckos, snakes, tortoises, and turtles. I have experience in preparing special diets for pets and other animals with specific health needs, and in senior dog care. Over the summer, I work at my internships in animal care for much of the work day, but that leaves afternoons, evenings, and early mornings for me to check in on your pets and give any care they need (breakfast/dinner, walks, baths, etc.). Over the school year, I will have more hours available to fit in more time with your pets (i.e. walking and bathing/grooming, more playtime, etc.). As a lover of all creatures, I take the safety of both pets and wildlife seriously. As such, I will always supervise pets that are outside in yards and keep them on leashes outside fenced-off areas so they are not a danger to others or themselves. If transporting pets in my car, I will keep them safe and secure in a carrier/crate. As a college student who has shared living spaces with new people before, I understand the importance of respecting others' belongings and boundaries. During drop-in visits, I will be sure to respect your home and any rules you may have for your comfort (i.e. no shoes in the house, specific dishes/silverware for pets only, general cleanliness, etc.).

About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. Growing up around dogs and other animals, I developed a deep appreciation for understanding each pet’s unique personality, needs, and quirks. Today, our home is a safe, loving environment where every dog is treated like family. I work from home with a flexible schedule, ensuring that dogs in my care receive frequent supervision, companionship, exercise, and affection throughout the day. Whether your pup enjoys active walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, or simply relaxing with people nearby, I tailor their experience to match their individual needs and comfort level. Our family plays a big role in making every dog feel welcome. Our teenagers absolutely love dogs and enjoy spending time with them, whether it’s playing fetch, giving belly rubs, going on walks, or simply showering them with attention and affection. Dogs staying with us quickly become part of the family and receive plenty of love, companionship, and one-on-one interaction throughout their stay. We are fortunate to have a large backyard and direct access to a beautiful conservation area, providing endless opportunities for exercise, exploration, and outdoor enrichment. From leisurely walks and nature adventures to active play sessions, dogs have plenty of space to stretch their legs, burn energy, and enjoy the outdoors in a safe and supervised environment. What I Offer * Large backyard with direct access to a conservation area * Daily walks, outdoor adventures, and enrichment activities * Consistent supervision and companionship * Personalized care based on your dog’s personality and routine * A calm, family-oriented environment * Lots of love and attention from our dog-loving teens * Regular updates and communication for peace of mind Please Note * Boarding pick-ups and drop-offs are preferred between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. * Additional fees may apply for dogs requiring significantly more care than average. * New Dog Trial Stay: For new dogs, I recommend starting with a one-night stay so we can get to know each other, understand their routine and needs, and make sure they’re comfortable before booking a longer stay in the future. Additional Care Fees Because some dogs require substantially more time, supervision, and individualized attention, the following surcharges may apply: * Puppies under 1 year old: +$10–$20 per day (depending on age, training level, and care requirements) * Dogs with separation anxiety, generalized anxiety, or those requiring constant supervision: +$10–$20 per day * Large dogs (50+ lbs.) requiring additional handling, exercise, or supervision: Fee determined during the meet-and-greet * Untrained dogs or dogs not fully housebroken: Fee determined during the meet-and-greet I will discuss all pricing transparently during the meet-and-greet to ensure the best fit for both your dog and our home. I have experience caring for dogs of various breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments. I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to learn about their routines, commands, preferences, and behaviors before their stay. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, playful, or enjoys a quieter environment, we adapt our care to help them feel right at home. My goal is to create an stress-free experience for both pets and their owners by providing dependable, attentive, and personalized care. Plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles (when welcomed), and individualized attention are all part of the experience. I have a 9 years old, friendly doodle to keep your furry family member company while you are away. I can crate or provide a calm private space, if needed.

About: Hello! My name is Yana, and I've had the pleasure of sharing my home with furry friends for more than ten years. This has nurtured in me a deep bond and understanding with animals. When you're away, I'll dedicate my undivided attention to your precious pets, ensuring they stick to their routine of proper care and love! I'm at ease caring for dogs of all sizes, and I'm experienced in handling those with special dietary needs or food-related sensitivities. Playing fetch, cozy snuggles, and gentle petting are some of the ways I ensure they feel cherished and attended to. Your trust in me to keep your beloved animals safe and content is sincerely appreciated. Whether it's dog walking or pet sitting, I’m here to be a friend to your furry baby! My work schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide pet care throughout the day. I schedule my dog walks and drop-in visits around my client appointments, so I can offer dependable care during mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends depending on availability. Whether your pet needs a midday walk while you're at work or care while you're away, I'll always communicate clearly and make sure they receive attentive, reliable care. I believe every pet is happiest when their routine is respected. In my client's home, I follow each pet's normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, medications (if needed and instructed), and plenty of affection. I take the time to learn each pet's personality, energy level, and preferences so they feel comfortable and secure while you're away. During walks, I prioritize safety, positive reinforcement, and making sure your dog gets the exercise and enrichment they need. For cats and other pets, I provide attentive care, companionship, litter box or habitat maintenance, and ensure they have a clean, comfortable environment. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision, so I communicate clearly, send regular photo updates, and treat every home with the same respect and care I would my own. My goal is for you to have peace of mind knowing your pet is safe, happy, and genuinely cared for.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
