About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up with multiple family dogs taught me early on that every dog has their own unique personality, needs, and quirks—and I love getting to know them all. In addition to being a lifelong dog lover, I spent four years working as a professional dog bather at PetSmart, where I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. That experience helped me become comfortable handling everything from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra patience and care. I also have experience administering medications, including oral medications and insulin injections, so you can feel confident that your pet's health needs will be carefully managed while they're in my care. Whether your dog is looking for a walking buddy, a cuddle companion, or someone to stick to their routine while you're away, I'll treat them with the same love, attention, and respect that I would give my own pets. Currently open to boarding throughout the year, for dogs able to stay indoors for 8 hours. Weekday Dog walking and dog day care available through beginning of August. I have no other pets in the home! I have a single family ranch style home with a yard. I am also within walking distance from a rail trail. I do also enjoy hiking and would be able to take your pets on wooded adventures!
About: I love all furry friends - I have a lovely cat, and I enjoy taking care of my friends’ puppies short or long terms. Taking them to long walks is my favorite part! I work on a flexible schedule, so I’m available on most weekday mornings or afternoons. I’d be ou-of-town on some weekends so pls let me know what’s your schedule like if pup needs walks on weekends! I have leashes (non-retractable) for small and medium dogs. I’m confident keeping pups of these sizes safe from traffic / other animals all the time. It’ll definitely be a plus if your pup know some commands!

About: I took care of my own dog since I was 4 years old, and taken care of my sisters’ dogs for the past three years. I also watched my boyfriend’s 4 cats while they were on vacation for a week. I’m currently working part time at the mall and find myself having a lot of free time that I would love to spend looking after animals. I provide feeding, walks, and play time. I will also of course be respectful of your home and any rules or guidelines that you may have.
“We were very happy to find Wendy to walk our dog when we traveled. She was reliable and very communicative. I would highly recommend her and we will definitely use her again.”

“We can’t speak highly enough about Linh as she was very caring, punctual and responsible with our dog. She’s extremely kind and pleasant to work with as well. We highly recommend her and look forward to her future walks!”

About: Hi! I’m Phoebe and I’m so excited to be on Rover. I’m going into my freshman year at Clemson University starting in August. I’ve had many pets growing up (both dogs and cats) and have loved taking care of them and watching them grow up! I have done many pet sitting / dog walking jobs in the past (5+ years of experience) and absolutely love spending time outside. I offer reliable drop-in visits for dogs, tailored to your pet’s routine. Services include taking dogs outside for potty breaks and walks 2–3 times a day, feeding and refreshing water, cleaning any messes, playtime and companionship, and administering oral medications if needed. My goal is to make sure your pets stay happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away! I’m a college student working part-time so I have plenty of availability to walk your dogs and help take care of them to ensure they are safe and happy! With every walk or visit, I ensure that pets are safe and happy whenever I see them. I will respect your house and rules around your pets as I want to make this a positive experience for everyone!
“Brenda is fantastic. Brenda came to meet my dogs before starting. It was important to Brenda (and to me) that Lulu and Charlie were comfortable with her. Brenda is very communicative, friendly, careful/responsible, and wonderful with my pups. She has provided excellent advice and treats my pets as if they were her own. I highly recommend Brenda.”

“Heidi took care of my dogs while we were on vacation. Informative updates and pictures of my dogs having a great time allowed us to fully enjoy our time away. It was a big comfort to know that our little ones were in good hands. Highly recommended.”
About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and grown up taking care of them. I’ve cared for small and large dogs, enjoy spending time with them, and giving them the best possible care. I am currently a student and work part time, but I only have class in the morning and work from home a majority of the time I enjoy spending quality time with the pets and make sure their safety comes first. Easily reachable on my cell if there’s any issues or concerns. I have a small fenced backyard area to let the dogs roam and enjoy time outside. No children, other pets, or other cautionary exposures for the animals.

About: I’ve had cats and dogs since I was born. Caring for my furry family has been a part of my life ever since. I helped care for my dogs when they got up there in age. I’m familiar with medicating my own pets and can surely learn your routine too. I’m currently home for school for the summer so I have most days completely free. I’m also one of the main carers for my two furry siblings while I’m home. I’m used to giving pills even if the pet won’t take a pill pocket (my cat won’t either). Rain or shine I’ll take your pet on a walk. Just let me know where the leashes are!
“Christie is super reliable and friendly. She walks my elderly mom’s dog (Buddy) twice a day. Buddy gets excited when he sees her arrive. She takes pictures and uses all the features in the Rover app to report out. We are very happy with the service she is providing.”

“Lauren walked my dog in our neighborhood, and it was my first time hiring a walker. She was fantastic! She sent me adorable pictures of my pup during their walk, which put my mind at ease. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I care for dogs like no other. They are there for for you when your down and are the best. I want to be sure they are taken care of. Right now I have a flexible schedule. Any day of the week works pretty much for me right now. Early morning to afternoon is good. Make sure I have what I need to keep them safe. Make sure they have a crate or fence in their home. Or if the dog is okay off leash.
About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. Growing up around dogs and other animals, I developed a deep appreciation for understanding each pet’s unique personality, needs, and quirks. Today, our home is a safe, loving environment where every dog is treated like family. I work from home with a flexible schedule, ensuring that dogs in my care receive frequent supervision, companionship, exercise, and affection throughout the day. Whether your pup enjoys active walks, outdoor adventures, playtime, or simply relaxing with people nearby, I tailor their experience to match their individual needs and comfort level. Our family plays a big role in making every dog feel welcome. Our teenagers absolutely love dogs and enjoy spending time with them, whether it’s playing fetch, giving belly rubs, going on walks, or simply showering them with attention and affection. Dogs staying with us quickly become part of the family and receive plenty of love, companionship, and one-on-one interaction throughout their stay. We are fortunate to have a large backyard and direct access to a beautiful conservation area, providing endless opportunities for exercise, exploration, and outdoor enrichment. From leisurely walks and nature adventures to active play sessions, dogs have plenty of space to stretch their legs, burn energy, and enjoy the outdoors in a safe and supervised environment. What I Offer * Large backyard with direct access to a conservation area * Daily walks, outdoor adventures, and enrichment activities * Consistent supervision and companionship * Personalized care based on your dog’s personality and routine * A calm, family-oriented environment * Lots of love and attention from our dog-loving teens * Regular updates and communication for peace of mind Please Note * Boarding pick-ups and drop-offs are preferred between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. * Additional fees may apply for dogs requiring significantly more care than average. Additional Care Fees Because some dogs require substantially more time, supervision, and individualized attention, the following surcharges may apply: * Puppies under 1 year old: +$10–$20 per day (depending on age, training level, and care requirements) * Dogs with separation anxiety, generalized anxiety, or those requiring constant supervision: +$10–$20 per day * Large dogs (50+ lbs.) requiring additional handling, exercise, or supervision: Fee determined during the meet-and-greet * Untrained dogs or dogs not fully housebroken: Fee determined during the meet-and-greet I will discuss all pricing transparently during the meet-and-greet to ensure the best fit for both your dog and our home. I have experience caring for dogs of various breeds, ages, sizes, and temperaments. I understand that every dog is different, and I take the time to learn about their routines, commands, preferences, and behaviors before their stay. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, playful, or enjoys a quieter environment, we adapt our care to help them feel right at home. My goal is to create an stress-free experience for both pets and their owners by providing dependable, attentive, and personalized care. Plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles (when welcomed), and individualized attention are all part of the experience. I have a 9 years old, friendly doodle to keep your furry family member company while you are away. I can crate or provide a calm private space, if needed.

Sally is beyond incredible. She went above and beyond her call of duty to make sure our Sawyer was beautifully taken care of. She is an angel with invisible wings taking care of all the worry we had...leaving Sawyer while we away. I highly highly highly recommend Sally for your fur baby's needs.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
