“Jess was great with our dog, Appa! He seemed to take to her right away and I know he appreciated the mid afternoon walk breaks while we were at work! She shared plenty of updates and photos from their walks!”

“Great with communication! Lucy agreed to my last minute booking and was kind enough to make a meet and greet happen given tight schedules. My plans fell through last minute so I no longer needed her service, but I would absolutely try again!”

“I am always happy to hire Geoffrey for a walk around the neighborhood! He makes sure to give my dog some extra pats and check his water while I'm at work and I love getting the photo updates too.”

About: We typically take 1-2 dogs at a time and include them in our daily routine. We have a large house with a big yard and multiple acres of conservation land abutting our house. We watch dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. Our three boys (middle school and high school) manage the dogs, their walkign schedule, feedings and Rover communication (with mom and dad's oversight). While this means teenage style communication is possible, it also leads to a LOT of attention from each child because they use Rover money to pay for their car insurance, phones, etc. Dad works from home and typically walks 3miles in the woods each day rain or shine. Mom is an avid runner and any dog interested in runs typically joins her for 3-5 miles. So plenty opportunity for exercise! Dogs join us on adventures. Walks in the woods, soccer games, swimming in the lake. We work from home during the day and always with our dogs. When we run errands your dog can relax in the house or stay in a crate if they prefer. We typically take 1 long walk per day and 1-2 shorter walks after school with the kids. Dogs can join or stay home depending on ability. During the day I work from a furnished barn on our property and your dog will join me there. I have bedding and toys available for them. I often am moving between the house and the barn which offers many opportunities for bathroom breaks and playing. Some dogs prefer hanging out in the house by themselves. Some sleep in my lap. I require all dogs to have a good call response. This is for their safety in a fun, yet foreign, environment and is also a requirement in our town.
“Michelle was a wonderful and communicative walker. She made me feel comfortable by accepting a meet and greet beforehand. My dog warmed up to her easily and the walk went nicely.”
“Royce is a wonderful conscientious dog walker who genuinely cares about my Baz. He’s had medical issues lately and she’s been so flexible & observant with him, really helpful tending and adjusting to his needs.”

About: I have been surrounded by animals my whole life! In my household I currently have had a 6 year old Siberian Husky named Maya that my family and I work together to take care of. I have started my own small dog walking business in the past that I decided to part from to pursue my teaching career. I am also a former Wag employee. I am excellent at connecting with animals and find joy in spending time with them. I am respectful of any specific directions to accommodate your booking and extremely flexible in most situations. Excited to get connected soon! I work full time as a Lead Educator at Bright Horizons in Lexington Massachusetts. I am available on weekends and feel free to reach out about availability throughout weekdays as it varies. With my dog at my home I work towards making sure she always feels loved. Taking walks and playing with all her toys is the main way we spend our free days. A backyard with gates is always fun for fetch!

About: I have been surrounded by dogs my entire life. My family has a lot of foster dogs, so I have been able to take care of a variety of dogs (both my own and foster) throughout the years in addition to walking/taking care of neighbor’s dogs whenever necessary. I am working part time with a flexible schedule, so I have a lot of availability to work with in whatever capacity needed. I am new to the area and would love to explore through taking care of amazing pets in a context that is so enjoyable for me. I am a very caring animal owner who has a lot of experience with all different types of dogs as I have had foster dogs for most of my life. I am young and active, so I am able to handle high energy dogs as well.
About: I have a natural kinship with animals. I have a warm and happy relationship with them. Each dog or cat is individual and I am sensitive to that. Your dog will be excited to see me and will have a great time with brisk, healthy walks and cuddling. Your cat will have quality time, play and snuggles. I am responsible, punctual and communicative. My pet experience includes animals of all ages and energy level. I have owned my own pets. You can expect the very best care. I am available when you need! I do freelance work and can adjust my schedule to meet yours! My schedule allows me to take same day visits, so that unexpected day trips you wish to take without your pup in tow can be accommodated! I love to cuddle, take meandering or swift walks based on the needs of your pups and play with them, too!. I am very sensitive to shy animals since I have my own. I can read how an animal likes to have interactions and can provide that. I love animals and to encourage their happiness! Respecting your home is very important to me. I am careful to take the best care possible. Your animal’s safety is something I take very seriously. I take care to notice how your dog is doing and communicate if there is any question about their well-being.

Lincoln dog parents share their Rover experiences
Francois was wonderful! He arrived at our house punctually, and our Bernese Mountain Dog followed him out for his walk with a strut in his step. He was just as happy when he returned home and sat at Francois' feet while we chatted. It's clear that Francois is a dog person, and our dog senses that. We will definitely reach out to him again when the need arises!
