Karein is lovely! Finn and I feel lucky to have found her. I so appreciate that she’s up for taking Finn on trail walks, and I know Finn is getting lots of loves and fun when they’re together. Karein is super communicative and reliable, sharing lots of pics from their walks together - which I love! I’d definitely recommend her!

About: No matter what I do, I can't stop taking care of other creatures! In my profession I am a psychotherapist to humans, and in my downtime I am a playmate to animals. I love nature almost as much as your dog does, and I would be honored to take your pups to the nearby conservation land, body of water, or around your very own neighborhood. I have the perfect mix of enthusiastic readiness to play and the calmer energy required to wind everyone down when needed. I work at my desk job part-time over the summer (2x weekly) and create my own schedule. I am extremely flexible and happy to work with you to create a schedule that works for both of us! I am open to caring for pets in your home, neighborhood, and the surrounding area! I have a car with a large cabin, and am able to transport your pet for further away adventures if desired. At your home, I am happy to provide feeding, potty breaks, walks, medication administration, basic grooming / baths, and of course, lots of playtime!

About: As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to find someone you trust. I provide reliable, loving care tailored to each pet’s needs, from playful puppies to senior dogs. You’ll receive regular photo updates, and your pet will be treated like family while you’re away I currently work as a health care worker. I enjoy taking care of everyone and want to spend my free time taking care of and playing with furry friends . My hours are short I am available to pet sit on the weekends. Caring for pets, whether in my home or my client's home, involves a tailored approach to ensure their comfort, safety, and happiness. Here's how I manage each setting: ### In My Home: 1. **Home Environment:** - **Safe and Comfortable Space:** My home is pet-proofed with designated areas for sleeping, eating, and playing. I ensure there are no hazards, and pets have access to comfortable bedding and toys. - **Regular Cleaning:** I maintain a clean environment with regular cleaning routines to prevent the spread of germs and keep the space pleasant. 2. **Routine and Care:** - **Feeding Schedule:** I follow the pet's regular feeding schedule and dietary requirements, providing fresh water and high-quality food. - **Exercise and Play:** Pets get daily exercise through walks, playtime, and interactive toys. I ensure they have mental and physical stimulation. - **Training and Socialization:** If needed, I continue with any training routines and offer socialization opportunities with other friendly pets in a controlled setting. - **Health Monitoring:** I keep an eye on the pet's health, checking for any signs of discomfort or illness, and administering medications if necessary. ### In Client's Home: 1. **Familiar Environment:** - **Home Visits:** I make scheduled visits to the client's home, ensuring the pet remains in a familiar environment, which can reduce stress. - **Pet Comfort:** I follow the pet's usual routines and keep their familiar items (like toys, beds, and bowls) in place to maintain comfort. 2. **Routine and Care:** - **Customized Care:** I adhere to the pet's specific care instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, and medication administration. - **Exercise and Play:** I take the pet for walks, engage in playtime, and provide mental stimulation through games and activities. - **Household Duties:** I handle additional tasks like bringing in the mail, watering plants, and ensuring the home is secure. - **Regular Updates:** I provide the pet owner with updates, photos, and videos, ensuring they are informed about their pet's well-being. ### Common Practices: - **Emergency Preparedness:** In both settings, I am prepared for emergencies, with knowledge of nearby veterinary clinics and a well-stocked first aid kit. - **Communication:** I maintain clear and open communication with pet owners, addressing any concerns and keeping them informed about their pet's activities and health. By adapting my approach to the specific needs of each pet and the preferences of their owners, I ensure that pets receive consistent, high-quality care whether they are in my home or their own.

Emily is a fantastic, wonderfully caring dog walker / pet care taker. We use her services for daily weekday walks for both of our dogs which have very different needs ( a 14 yr old golden doodle with mobility issues and a 10 yr old lab that still thinks she's 3 yr old spring chicken). She has also house sat over a navigation for us so that they didn't have to go into a kennel. She is trustworthy, communicative and extremely kind. You'd be fortunate to have her services.

About: What sets me apart is how naturally I connect with dogs. I’ve cared for my own rescue dog for the past five years, and that experience taught me patience, trust, and unconditional love. I treat every dog like family — giving them attention, playtime, and comfort just like I do with my own. Whether it’s a playful pup or a shy senior, I make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. Right now, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to spend with pets since I’m not currently working. I enjoy daily walks and playtime with my own dog, and I’d love to include your pup in our routine! I’m available on weekdays and weekends, and I can adjust my schedule to fit your needs. I just ask that the dogs I walk or care for get along well with my friendly dog at home. At my home, pets are always cared for like family. We have a large yard that’s great for fresh air and playtime, but since it’s not fenced, all outdoor time is always supervised. I also use a long leash in the yard so dogs can enjoy some freedom safely. We love going on walks by the nearby farm — it’s peaceful and perfect for dogs to stretch their legs and explore. Inside, pets get plenty of attention, comfort, and care throughout the day.

About: Since I was a kid I was surrounded by animals! At 7 years old I was given then responsibility to take care of my own life long best friend I named Sandy, who grew up with me for 15 years until 2021. Throughout the time and especially after I have always jumped at the opportunity to take care of my friends and family’s pets! Some of my favorites are my older sister’s three energetic pups: Benjamin, Buttons and Bleu who love to run in the yard and play ALL day! I also love taking care of my other sister’s two cats: Lulu and Phoebe who enjoy a quiet night in full of cuddles and head scratches! I also spend a lot of time dog sitting my best friend’s 1 year old Boxer who is full of energy and loves treats! In the summer of 2023 we went on daily walks around the neighborhood and on special occasions we would go on Starbucks Pup-cup runs which she loved! Overall, I’ve been around dogs and cats of all ages and have had a lot of fun throughout it! Pet care fits into my schedule since I work remotely the majority of the week! I am also a senior at the University of Massachusetts Amherst which allows me to have a lot of flexibility with my class schedule! I have my own apartment which is quiet and pet friendly! I especially have tons of time on the weekend to take care of pets for a longer duration of time! I live at an apartment which is 100% pet friendly. It is surrounded by many side streets which are great for going on long walks and exploring the area. My apartment is quiet and has space for a crate if needed. I own pet bowls, dog and cat toys, and can be easily puppy or kitty proofed if need be!!

About: My family loves animals, especially dogs. We are dedicated to making your dog feel at home while you’re busy. We will always treat your dog with love, compassion and respect. I love puppies but they must be house trained. My wife and I both work from home. I am self employed so I make my own hours and that allows me to provide exceptional care to your dog. We have a 2 year old French bull dog who is very friendly and gets along well with other dogs.Because I am an animal lover and giving back is so important to me I WILL DONATE 5% of my earnings to The MSPCA! I have a fenced in yard and we live on a quiet dead end street. The park is 2 minutes from our home and we go there often to allow our dog to play.I never have more than 3 dogs in my house at once which allows me to give your dog my undivided attention and love. Your dog will always be safe, happy and very well cared for.

About: Dogs and cats have always been a part of my family. My husband and I currently have three rescue dogs. I am patient & kind, but firm—qualities I developed over 24 years as a first-grade teacher. I respect that everyone (people and animals) has unique qualities and needs. When friends and family go away, I always care for their dogs. I work part-time, so I have a lot of availability to care for your pets. Whether your pets need walks, playtime, feedings, or overnight care, I'm here for you. My three dogs have the run of the house, but they don't like to share, so I will come to your home to care for your fur baby.
