About: *Hanscom AFB Access* I've been an animal lover my whole life and genuinely enjoy spending time with pets of all ages and personalities. I understand that every pet has their own routine, needs, and quirks, and I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or just having a calm companion nearby, I'm happy to meet them where they are. I'm patient, dependable, and attentive to details, and I'll follow your care instructions closely to keep your pet's routine as consistent as possible. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I'll care for your pets as if they were my own while keeping you updated with plenty of photos and messages for peace of mind. As someone who works on Hanscom Air Force Base and has base access, I'm in a unique position to provide convenient, dependable pet care for military and civilian families on base. I can easily stop by for early morning, lunchtime, and afternoon visits during the week, and I'm also available for flexible check-ins throughout the weekend. Whether you're at work, traveling, or TDY, I'll make sure your pet receives attentive, reliable care. I work four days a week, which allows me to offer early morning, lunchtime, and afternoon check-ins throughout the week. I live nearby and have a flexible schedule, making it easy to provide reliable care and keep your pet's routine as consistent as possible. On weekends, I have even more availability for multiple visits and extra quality time with your pet. During every drop-in visit, my priority is making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own familiar environment. I'll follow your care instructions closely, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks or litter box cleaning, playtime, walks if requested, medications (if needed), and plenty of affection based on your pet's personality and preferences. I respect your home as if it were my own, making sure doors are securely locked, everything is left clean and tidy, and your pet's routine stays as consistent as possible. I'll also send updates and photos after each visit so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and in good hands.
“Angie did a fantastic job of taking care of my old kitty. She was very responsive and we really appreciate her alerting us to a potential issue for a pet that wasn’t her responsibility!”

“Karein was wonderful! Very responsive and timely. She spent extra time with our kitties since she was just getting to know them and the routine. Clearly an animal lover and very knowledgeable. Sent detailed reports and lots of pictures. Will definitely use again!”

“Danielle was fantastic with our dogs while we were out of town. She kept their area clean and sent plenty of picture updates. They looked so happy. We will definitely hire her again in the future.”

“Jupiter has been amazing! Often times, we would have to add or cancel day sitting sessions and Jupiter never had any problems with the change. Only reason we are leaving is because we were moving, otherwise we would keep Jupiter for our dogs entire life!”

“Booked super last minute due to unexpected emergency, and she was AMAZING! Went above and beyond to take care of my little babies, cannot recommend enough. So communicative and took such great care of them (even though they’re so shy)”

About: My family loves animals, especially dogs. We are dedicated to making your dog feel at home while you’re busy. We will always treat your dog with love, compassion and respect. I love puppies but they must be house trained. My wife and I both work from home. I am self employed so I make my own hours and that allows me to provide exceptional care to your dog. We have a 2 year old French bull dog who is very friendly and gets along well with other dogs.Because I am an animal lover and giving back is so important to me I WILL DONATE 5% of my earnings to The MSPCA! I have a fenced in yard and we live on a quiet dead end street. The park is 2 minutes from our home and we go there often to allow our dog to play.I never have more than 3 dogs in my house at once which allows me to give your dog my undivided attention and love. Your dog will always be safe, happy and very well cared for.
“Emily is the best! She’s very flexible with my schedule changes and her communication is always on point with any details or requests I may have. My pup loves her!! Highly recommend her to anyone ❤️”

About: I adopted my first dog in second grade. He was my responsibility and as I got older, I learned that I loved going for walks outside as much as my dog. Now that I'm older, I love taking friends' dogs for hikes in new locations. I have even managed to train one of my friend's reactive dog so she pulls on the leash less. I also briefly fostered animals when I was in graduate school. I am a teacher on summer break, so I have plenty of hours to devote to your pet and look forward to enjoying plenty of summer outside time with your dog. I have walked a wide range of dogs, including a couple of reactive pit bull mixes. I have experienced triggering situations with dogs and know how to either handle them or avoid them.

About: What sets me apart as a pet sitter is my patience, energy, and genuine love for animals. I understand that every pet has its own personality and needs, and I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. Whether it’s a high-energy puppy that needs lots of playtime and guidance or a senior pet that requires a gentler, more attentive approach, I adapt easily to provide the best care possible. I’m very energetic, which means I can keep up with active pets and make sure they get the exercise and stimulation they need. At the same time, my patience allows me to work well with younger pets who are still learning, helping reinforce positive behaviors in a calm and consistent way. I also have a dog of my own, so I understand firsthand the level of trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. Because of that, I treat every animal as if they were my own—with kindness, attention, and responsibility. I am proficient in potty training and any skills needed in caring for a young puppy. Pet care fits naturally into my routine, and I make sure to plan my schedule around the needs of the pets I’m caring for. I have the most availability on weekends (all day/night), which allows me to spend extended time with pets for walks, play, and attention. During the week, I’m available in the evenings and in the evenings/nights, making me a great option for dinner-time visits, late walks, or overnight care. I’m reliable about sticking to routines, so your pet can stay on a consistent schedule. I always prioritize safety, trust, and a comfortable environment when caring for pets. In a client’s home, I stick closely to your pet’s normal routine to help them feel secure and stress-free. I follow all care instructions carefully, keep their space clean, and make sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. If I’m caring for a pet in my home, I provide a safe and welcoming space. I do have a dog of my own who is friendly and used to being around other dogs, so your pet would have companionship as well. I always introduce pets and make sure they are comfortable with each other, and I can separate them if needed to ensure everyone feels safe. No matter the setting, I treat every pet like my own and make sure they are well cared for, happy, and secure.
About: I've been a dog sitter for over a decade, on top of having my own pets as well. I've watched dogs as small as shih tzus and yorkies, to dogs as big pit bulls and labs. I am pretty active and love to go on walks, and would love to bring your dog with me! I currently work from home, so I have lots of flexibility throughout the day to help take care of your pets! I am available for daytime walks or check-ins almost everyday, and available to house sit any time as long as you reach out in advance! I have house-sat for friends and family for over 10+ years, and feel very comfortable saying that I have always been a clean, respectful house guest. I am a non-smoker; and I would prioritize your comfort and privacy while staying in your home, ensuring your pet is well cared for when I am there.
About: I've always loved animals and have experience caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and fish. Although I haven't owned a dog myself, I've spent years helping neighbors and friends by feeding, walking, playing with, and caring for their pets while they were away. I've also house sat for a home with three cats, making sure they stayed on their normal routine and received plenty of attention and affection. I understand that every pet has a unique personality and comfort level, so I take the time to learn their routine and follow your instructions carefully. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playtime, quiet companionship, or just sticking to a familiar schedule, I'm happy to provide the care they need. I'm dependable, patient, and attentive to details, and I know how important it is to keep pet owners updated. I'll always treat your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would my own. My schedule is flexible, allowing me to provide walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, and pet care throughout the week. I enjoy spending time with animals, so I make sure each visit includes plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, or quiet companionship based on your pet's needs. I understand how important consistency is for pets, and I'll do my best to maintain their regular routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you're away. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications (if needed), exercise routines, and any household rules you've established. I always keep dogs securely leashed on walks unless in a designated enclosed area, and I pay close attention to their surroundings to keep them safe. When caring for pets in your home, I treat your space with respect and work to keep your pet's routine as normal as possible. I'm happy to send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your pets are happy and well cared for while you're away.
About: I have a gold retriever and I do know how difficult to leave them when you have to go. I’ll take care them like they are home. I’m full time mom, and my pup can play with your pup to make sure they won’t be alone. I’m full time mom and always home. Feel free to let me know if there’s any specific needs. So I can stay with your baby all the time to give them cuddles & play. I only accept a pup boarding at my house except you have 2 pups at the same time. My kids are pet lover too. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Bedford
Karein is great! Our cat Big Guy, does not like people. Over the 2 weeks we were away, she got him to come out of his shell and let her pet him. It was a great experience to know Big Guy was in good hands while we were away. She even got him playing with some toys… and his name is Big Guy for a reason! 😸

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
