Amy followed all the directions I have left for her -- my dog needs meds twice daily -- and took a really good care of my fur baby. Even though it was a very cold and windy morning, Amy still took my dog on a walk (she could have simply let her out into the yard) and followed her usual walking path -- my dog likes to be in charge during a walk ;-) After she was done, she sent me a recap email, which was great to receive. I grew up in a house full of pets. We had two dogs, a cat, two ferrets, two parakeets, and a rabbit. Unfortunately, my husband is allergic and we can’t have a pet full-time in our house. To fill that void, I spend my summers loving on your fur babies! My children, 10 and 12, are also animal lovers and often are with me caring for the animals. I am a loving and gentle nurturer. I treat your pets just like my own. This is not just a job for me. This is a choice to keep animals in my life because I know the joy they bring. I love to provide owners with pictures and updates, as many as you want and need. I’m also happy to take care of anything at the house that needs tending – mail, plants, cleaning, etc. I look forward to connecting with you! I have full availability over the summer and I am willing to accommodate any kind of schedule. During the fall and winter, my availability is limited to evenings and weekends. My preference is to care for your pet in your home. My kids (12 and 10) sometimes accompany me, as they also love to care for animals and are learning how to be productive and responsible. If you prefer I solely care for your animals, that is completely fine. I always defer to the client and their pet's needs. If I'm providing boarding in my home, the animal will be restricted to our first floor. I do not have a fenced in yard, so I would provide frequent walks throughout the day.
