About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my experience, attention to detail, and genuine love for animals of all ages and needs. I have hands-on experience with both puppies and senior pets, and I adjust my care to match their energy levels, medical needs, and routines. I'm available for boarding on the weekends and any night after 4 pm. There will always be a trusted adult at home to keep your furry friend happy and cared for! I have a fenced in yard and a border collie living at home. He is extremely friendly and his best friend is my brother's teacup Yorkie, so he gets along with dogs of all shapes, sizes and temperaments!
About: I've been pet sitting for friends and family for years and love it, so I've made it formal through Rover. I'm reliable, organized, and genuinely enjoy caring for animals. I have a background working with dogs, cats, small animals, and exotics (frogs, ferrets, birds, hamsters, mice, and more). Red Cross Pet First Aid certified as of 6/13/26. My own cat, Juniper, is part of the household, so I'm practiced at multi-pet dynamics, including with both cats and dogs. I have a large fenced yard and flexible space to accommodate different comfort levels between animals. Pet sitting fits naturally into my life. I work full-time but I'm selective about bookings and plan in advance. I typically board one family at a time and keep concurrent bookings minimal (2 pets max) so I can give full attention. I have a standing commitment Wednesday evenings in the Fall and Spring for only a couple hours and work around it when needed. Saturdays vary week to week, and I'm flexible about drop-in visits around my schedule, but will confirm with pet parents in advance. The key is advance planning. I ask for at least a week's notice whenever possible so both of us can prepare. I turn down bookings if there's a genuine conflict that week rather than overcommit. In my home (boarding): I have a large fenced yard, climate-controlled space, and the ability to section off areas if animals need separation for comfort. My own cat, Juniper, is here, so I manage multi-pet dynamics carefully. I watch for stress signals and adjust setup as needed. Routines are consistent (feeding times, potty breaks, exercise), and I monitor behavior closely for anything unusual. I'll provide updates and photos to set your mind at ease while you're away from your pet. In your home (drop-ins): I'll follow your instructions—feeding schedules, medication, play preferences, access restrictions. I'll check in, take photos/notes for updates, and flag any concerns immediately. Always: Red Cross Pet First Aid certified. If something feels off such as a behavior change, health concern, stress, I share as soon as I notice. As a pet owner myself, I treat you and your pet like I'd want someone treating me and mine.
About: Please read my availability before booking :) Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up with both dogs and cats, and nothing makes me happier than spending time with them. I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for my coworkers for years, and I truly enjoy caring for animals like they’re my own. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, walks, or just keeping your pets company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. You can trust that I’ll provide the best care possible and treat your furry family members with the same attention and affection I’d give my own. I can’t wait to meet your pets! I currently work in a medical office Tuesday-Friday 7:30am-5pm. Though I am able to house sit these days, I am unable to let them out during the day while I am at work. Saturday-Monday I am free to give all my attention to your pets! I am very energetic, just like your pups. I love to walk with or without a dog. If I am pet sitting, I am very good at sticking to directions so I can care for your animals exactly how you want them to be cared for while throwing in a couple extra play times!
“Nathan was very responsive and accommodating. This was my first time using Rover & I will continue to use this app and book with him whenever available. With maybe 3 days notice, he committed to cat sitting my 2 cats for a week, with twice a day drop by’s. He fed my cats, cleaned their bowls everyday, changed out their water and changed their cat box everyday. He also guaranteed daily belly rubs, which I loved. He is very understanding of animals and their personalities. One of my cats is very loving to everybody & he gave him all the attention he could. The other is avoidant of people he doesn’t know and he gave him that space until he became comfortable and came into HIS space. He was very informative, sent many pictures & clear updates that I looked forward to, twice a day. I feel like he didn’t look at it as a chore but that he genuinely loved animals. I will book him with over and over. Not only do you want somebody to be comfortable giving your animals the love & care they need, but you also want somebody that you can trust in your home. Even though they knocked stuff down, he didn’t want to touch anything outside of care instructions left so he left things where my fur babies left them and communicated with me what happened. My cats weren’t as excited to see me as I thought because they were so used to him! Can’t recommend him enough!”

About: I am not in a place to financially support my own pet right now, but I am currently living without a pet in my house for the first time since I was 6 and I miss them dearly! By hiring me, you would not only be filling the dog shaped hole in my heart, but you would receive care you can count on. I am currently off for the summer from school, so my schedule can easily adapt to fit pretty much any needs! Once school starts back up, I am available weekends and after school hours. As a teacher, I am used to being entrusted with the safety and wellbeing of upwards of 15 students at a time. I take my responsibility to you and your pets just as seriously as I take my responsibility to my students and their families. When they are in my care, they are my first priority, always.
About: I’ve always been an animal person and will treat your fur baby as if they were my own. I can relax with them, walk around your neighborhood with them, play with them- whatever they need. I am available for dog walking and drop-in visits to check in on your dogs, ensuring they have food, water, and plenty of attention while you are away. I will take both, your needs and your best friends’ into account and accommodate the best way I can to ensure I am providing what works for you and your pup.
About: Hi, I’m Jay! If you’re looking for someone who will love your pets as much as you do, you’ve come to the right place. Animals have been my biggest passion for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, birds, snakes, and everything in between, and I truly believe every pet deserves personalized care, lots of love, and plenty of attention. Whether your pet needs an energetic walking buddy, a cuddle buddy, playtime, meals, medication, a bath, or just someone patient and dependable while you’re away, I’m here to help! Long haired pups or kitties that hate being brushed? No problemo! I’m happy to tackle the fluff so you don’t have to. 😊 One thing that sets me apart is that I’m constantly learning. I love researching animal behavior, enrichment, nutrition, and the best ways to keep pets happy, healthy, and stress-free. Every pet has their own personality, and I take the time to get to know what makes yours feel safe and comfortable. I know how nerve wracking it can be to leave your best friend with someone else, so I’ll care for your baby like they’re my own. You can expect plenty of updates, adorable photos, and the peace of mind that your furry, feathered, or scaly family member is in loving hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your bestie! 🤍 Caring for pets has always been part of my daily routine. I attend college so I’m able to give your babies attention, care, and playtime before class, in between, and during study time! I’m used to keeping a consistent routine with my own cats and making sure they’re fed, comfortable, and cared for. I only accept bookings that fit my schedule so I can give each pet the time and attention they deserve. I know leaving your pet with someone new can be stressful, so I do everything I can to make the experience easy for both you and your pet. I’ll always follow your care instructions closely, keep your pet’s routine as normal as possible, and make sure they get plenty of love and attention while you’re away. I’ll send lots of updates and pictures (because I know I’d want them too!) so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind. Whether your pet is super energetic, a little shy, or just wants someone to hang out with, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m very detail oriented and always pay attention to things like securely closing doors and gates, keeping dogs safely leashed on walks, and making sure your pet is happy and comfortable. My goal is for you to come home to a happy pet and feel confident that they were treated like family while you were away.

About: I’ve had my dog for 6 years since she was a puppy. She is house trained and is trained to be out without a leash. She is great with children and other dogs. I’m currently a college student so I have 1-2 classes a day with breaks in between. My classes are only 1-2.5 hours and don’t consume too much of my time. I have a huge fenced in your with more than enough space for a big dog to run around and play and release any stored up energy they might have. I also live in a nice quiet neighborhood that is perfect to go on walks.
About: My name is Thalia and I’m ready to make your pup feel like they’re one of my own. I provide a safe and welcoming environment to make your pet feel right at home. I work from home, so I can be there for your pet daily or weekly. I can provide your pet with frequent potty breaks and walks as well as allow time for play. I always make sure my pets are safe inside my home. Providing them with fresh clean water and a safe place to have their meals. Pets are allowed on the furniture in my home and I have various dog beds throughout my home.
About: Hey! I'm Luis. I've always had a natural connection with animals, and caring for them has never really felt like work to me. I enjoy getting to know each dog's personality, whether they're the type that wants to burn off energy on a walk or would rather take things slow and soak up some attention. When I'm looking after someone's pet, they have my full attention. I take the responsibility seriously, stick to their routine as closely as possible, and make sure they're healthy, comfortable, and having a good time. I also make sure to send plenty of photo, video, and text updates because I know I'd appreciate those if someone were watching my own pet. Over the years I've cared for dogs of all sizes and ages, including large breeds, senior dogs, and a few with special care instructions like topical or oral meds. Puppies aren't quite my specialty unless they are very well potty trained already, however I am unlikely to turn down untrained ones because of my love for animals. While dogs are my main focus, I've always gotten along well with cats too. They seem to decide I'm trustworthy pretty quickly... though I'd like to think my surprisingly convincing meow deserves at least a little of the credit 🤭 Right now I offer dog walks and drop-in visits. I don't have my driver's license just yet, so my travel range is limited to about 5 miles tops, but if you're within that range I'd be happy to give your pet the exercise, attention, and company they deserve while you're away! I am available every day full time, this is subject to change eventually as I am looking for a steadier job and will need to focus on other life tasks eventually. P.S If you book with me and notice my calendar change to unavailable for the dates you requested it's to avoid requests from multiple owners for those dates, I work by a first come first serve basis. Pets will adhere to all rules of my clients home unless exceptions are stated beforehand, this includes treat amount, furniture/room access, noise amount and/or anything else that comes to mind.

I am easy going and understanding and very energetic! I’m currently a college student and I love doing this as a part time job! I have plenty of good references and a very flexible schedule. About: Hi! I’m Molytha! It’s nice to meet you, and (hopefully) your furry companion! I grew up with three dogs! Each a different breed, from a small poodle mix all the way to a pitbull! (i love her so much) But despite that, I recently adopted my cat, Rufus! And I love him too! So not only will you be trusting someone who loves animals, but also one that enjoys the best of both worlds! 🐱🐶❤️ I’m a full time student with lots of gaps in between classes! I’m usually done for the day by 4pm at the latest and around 3 at the earliest! I usually have a class from 9:30-10:45am everyday but the times after until 2 I’m free! I have everything my cat needs and I keep a very clean environment for him! Lots of play space and some space for himself as well!

Philip did a wonderful job taking care of my senior cat while I was away. He was always communicative, keeping me updated and making me feel confident that she was in good hands. He made sure she was fed on schedule and that all of her food, water, and litter were kept clean. It was clear that he genuinely cared about her well-being, and I truly appreciated the attention and kindness he showed. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.

Lily is a godsend, she was able to support us on shorter notice and provide the best care for our beloved pets. We so appreciate her and look forward to booking in the future. She has such a gift for working with animals and takes the best photos where you can tell that everyone is having a great time. Many thanks Lily!!

This was the second time Melanie pet sit for us and our experience was just as good as the first time. Melanie is dependable, communicative, and will take care of your pets like they are her own. We will 100% be rebooking next time we are out of town. I can’t say enough good things about Melanie!
I highly recommend Mackenzie! She is very responsive to all of my messages and timely in her drop-in visits. She watched my two free roam bunnies and was super great with them! It was a great peace of mind to know she was looking after them. I will definitely keep her in mind for my next trip!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
