3. Emily B.

“Emily has been a life saver for us! She takes such good care of our dog. She goes above and beyond to make sure everyone feels comfortable and satisfied with her work. We couldn’t have found a better care taker for our puppy girl.”

4. Nathan D.

“Nathan was very responsive and accommodating. This was my first time using Rover & I will continue to use this app and book with him whenever available. With maybe 3 days notice, he committed to cat sitting my 2 cats for a week, with twice a day drop by’s. He fed my cats, cleaned their bowls everyday, changed out their water and changed their cat box everyday. He also guaranteed daily belly rubs, which I loved. He is very understanding of animals and their personalities. One of my cats is very loving to everybody & he gave him all the attention he could. The other is avoidant of people he doesn’t know and he gave him that space until he became comfortable and came into HIS space. He was very informative, sent many pictures & clear updates that I looked forward to, twice a day. I feel like he didn’t look at it as a chore but that he genuinely loved animals. I will book him with over and over. Not only do you want somebody to be comfortable giving your animals the love & care they need, but you also want somebody that you can trust in your home. Even though they knocked stuff down, he didn’t want to touch anything outside of care instructions left so he left things where my fur babies left them and communicated with me what happened. My cats weren’t as excited to see me as I thought because they were so used to him! Can’t recommend him enough!”

5. Alyssa M.

“Amazing! Would give more stars if I could! Alyssa helped us out last minute, great communication, professional, and she took the best pictures of our boy! Would definitely recommend and rebook with Alyssa.”

7. Thu H.
“Thu is just an exceptional individual who brings immense value to any team. As my colleague at LGH, Thu consistently demonstrated an outstanding work ethic, arriving early and staying late to ensure tasks were completed to the highest standard. ability to listen intently and grasp instructions swiftly was truly remarkable. She possesses a knack for understanding complex tasks on the first explanation, which significantly improved our efficiency. Never once did Thu hesitate to seek clarification when needed, showcasing her professional maturity and dedication to producing flawless work. She never waited to be told what to do next; instead, she anticipated the next steps and often volunteered to assist with additional tasks. This initiative not only made my job easier but also set a positive example for the entire team.”

8. Amy P.

“Amy is a great pet lover and owner. Knowing her for the past 20 years, this is the perfect job for her. She has an appreciation and love for animals as well as a full utilization of animal obedience and behavior skills when working and handling animals. I will be going on a trip to Ireland in September and she will be watching my two shiba inus. I wouldn't trust anyone else to watch them and I know when I return they will be more obedient than when I left!”

9. Chyna L.
“I have had Chyna watch over my 3 year old dog multiple times while I was on work trips, and she went above and beyond to take him on long walks, feed him exactly as I would, and made sure he got some training in as well with treats. I trust her with my dog anytime im out of town. My dog sincerely loves her and trusts her as well! Very thankful for the kindness and care she’s given my dog!”

10. Glens S.
“Glens is an extremely trustworthy caretaker of animals. She is energetic enough to play with and walk your dog to get them tuckered out, and she is also calm and gentle enough to spend time with your kitty who may be nervous. She is kind, careful, and a wonderful person.”

11. Alex D.
“I used Alex recently to pet sit my newly adopted senior cat for a week long business trip. This was the first time leaving my cat and I was a bit nervous. Alex recognized my unease by my the lengthy instructions that were left. Any nervousness disappeared when I received daily texts, photos or videos showing a happy cat. Additionally, upon my return a diary of the tasks by day was provided. I could tell that she not only provided the cat with the basics such as feeding and cleaning the litter box but hung out with her to provide some company. Since I was so pleased with her care I am using her for my next business trip.”

12. Kaitlyn N.
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a child, and growing up, they were my best friends—just like they are for so many of us. My last dog, Sky, passed away about eight years ago, and I haven’t been able to get another because I loved her so much. Luckily, I’m surrounded by friends and family who let me love their dogs like my own. I occasionally help my best friend and her family with their dogs whenever they need. While I’d love to have a dog again, my cats currently run the house! Dog sitting gives me the privilege of experiencing the love of a dog without the full-time commitment of adopting one. I work Monday to Friday, 8AM-4PM. Unfortunately I am unable to leave work on those days but am willing to stop by in the morning and after work. I am available to stay over with your pet if wanted or needed. Weekends I am open, very flexible and willing to accommodate however I can. I can follow detailed instructions on how you’d like your animal to be cared for. Including, feeding schedule, walking schedule, cleaning and more. I am open to providing any care your pet requires so you feel more at ease when leaving your fur baby with me. Lastly, I will give them all the love they need while your away.

13. Julia Z.

About: I grew up with three Labrador Retrievers and three cats, as well as a parrot and lots of fish. I love animals and have been working at Bark Avenue, LLC in Lowell as a dog walker and trainer for almost two years. Outside of this role, I am a senior at UMass Lowell and a Resident Advisor in my residence hall on campus. I am available most weekdays for drop-ins after 3 PM until 8 PM. I am also available most Saturdays and Sundays from 8 AM to 8 PM, and can stay overnight if needed. I will provide your dog or cat with the upmost quality of care. With your pup, we will go on safe and enriching walks on leash or off leash, play with fun chew toys inside or outside, and indulge in yummy treats. I encourage all the snuggles and love to chill with them after a fun day of zoomies.

14. Samantha C.

“Samantha was so great! The first time leaving a recently diagnosed cat with diabetes and she made me feel comfortable. She was a great communicator and sent pictures. She was so kind and patient with my finicky cats. I look forward to having her back again!”

15. Shannon W.
“Shannon is a caring and reliable pet sitter. She is great with all animals and her experience as a vet technician proves her love to care for animals.”

16. Lily L.

“Lily is an excellent sitter! Her photos and helpful updates of our sweet girls are great and brought us peace of mind while we were away. Lily has a wonderful way with animals and tends to their needs in such a kind and caring manner. Thank you Lily!”

17. Julie C.
“Julie is an exceptional caregiver, very professional and knows what to do on the dime when it comes to in home and outdoor trainings. Seem to have a nac for picking up on personality queues and reactions that allow her to be attentive to the different personalities she encounters. Overall great experience with Julie, would recommend every time.”

18. Molytha E.
About: Hi! I’m Molytha! It’s nice to meet you, and (hopefully) your furry companion! I grew up with three dogs! Each a different breed, from a small poodle mix all the way to a pitbull! (i love her so much) But despite that, I recently adopted my cat, Rufus! And I love him too! So not only will you be trusting someone who loves animals, but also one that enjoys the best of both worlds! 🐱🐶❤️ I’m a full time student with lots of gaps in between classes! I’m usually done for the day by 4pm at the latest and around 3 at the earliest! I usually have a class from 9:30-10:45am everyday but the times after until 2 I’m free! I have everything my cat needs and I keep a very clean environment for him! Lots of play space and some space for himself as well!

19. Evgenia P.

“We love Eva!! Our regular sitter was unavailable and we are so lucky we found her- friendly, responsive, reliable, and keeps our girl very happy- all you can ask for in a sitter.❤️”

20. Camden C.
About: Not only have I taken care of dogs and cats but some exotics as well. For example, I used to have a bearded dragon lizard named Freddy that I had when I was 9 to 18 years old as a Xmas gift and took care of that the best I could. I’ve also had the pleasure of taking care of my partner’s 14 year old Tarantula named Samantha as of recent. Currently I am working part time during the week teaching some private guitar lessons and doordash driving whenever I can, so I’m pretty free and flexible and if I utilize pet care enough within this schedule, I won’t need to DoorDash as much. My cats require three meals a day. I always make sure they have enough water throughout the day since they only eat dry food and can get dehydrated. I have two litter boxes that require frequent cleaning since there are two cats in the household. When caring for my friends and family’s dogs, walks and play time are a necessity if the dog is high energy while older dogs might need more rest.
