“Walter was so courteous and showed up on time every day and I could tell me animals were taken care of. He even offered more support for the animals for an extended period when my travel was impacted by the snow. He came 2x a day for my dogs and played with them and even stayed extra time s few times, and was able to give them medications and feed them, along with my cats as well. He was also very communicative, and followed instructions. I can tell my animals are happy. I will be using Walter again!”

About: For my entire life, I’ve always lived with dogs, cats, fish, gerbils, hamsters - you name it! - and as such, pet care has always been second nature. Growing up a pet lover, a few years ago I decided that I wanted to start pet sitting, and I have been doing it on and off ever since. Now being home for the summer from college, I would love to find more work in the field. Additionally, I have 4 senior pets at home including 2 senior dogs, so I am very comfortable working with older animals and their needs! I am home from college for summer break until late August, so until I go back to school, I am mostly available and am happy to help in whatever way I can! I currently have 2 dogs and 2 cats at home (as well as a fish) who each have very specific dietary needs and routines. As such, I am very used to not only following specific instructions and steps to the letter, but also to balancing various pet needs. Additionally, having had many pets in my lifetime and having taken care of various pets for others, I am incredibly familiar with how every pet has different behaviors and care needs. For my own dogs at home, for example, given their age, they do not do well with long, rigorous walks. However, for one of the dogs I have been sitting for on and off for the past 3 years, she is full of energy and is the exact opposite of my senior dogs at home. Overall, even though every pet is different, I make sure that their needs are well met and pay attention to what messages they are sending me with body language and behaviors.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover! I’ve had lots of experience, especially with my own dogs! Always super observant as well with all animals and will look out with the best care possible! Pet care fits into my daily routine by taking care of my two dogs that I have at home with feeding them morning and night! And taking them for walks, making sure they have enough water. And also giving medications when needed. I care for my pets by making sure they always are feeling loved and cared for! Taking them for walks, making sure they're getting enough exercise and playing with them for fun! Ensuring they’re always fed and have enough water!

About: I have had dogs since I was a child. Throughout the years I have owned Shepards, Rottweilers and most recently Boxers. They have been a part of our family since before I can remember but after losing our last Boxer “babies” and with the kids now in college, I have decided to pour my love for dogs into taking care of yours. It was always stressful leaving our dogs so let me take some of that stress away from you. I promise to stay in contact, send pictures and give them a home away from home. I work 3 minutes from home with a typical workday being 8-4 with an hour lunch. Although I will say this is pretty flexible. However, my husband works from home so there is always someone home. I am happy to come to your home to take your dog for a walk or to let him/her out in your yard. I can also feed him/her and give any needed medications. Or in my home, they will be treated like our own. We do allow pets on the furniture if that is what they are used to and accept dogs that are not crate trained.

About: I have taken care of animals as a sitter and as a shelter volunteer for over a decade. I have looked after cats, dogs, guinea pigs, turtles, bearded dragons, and more! I absolutely love animals and have experience with all ages and behaviors :) I am currently on break after graduating from Brandeis University! This summer, I am working part-time and taking classes on and off, so I have lots of flexibility when it comes to helping out with your furry friends! About: I love animals and I’ve always had pets. In 2020, when work went online, I started doing a lot of dog sitting and dog walking. I have experience with lots of different breeds and different needs. I currently have a senior dog, Bailey, who is an absolute angel. Bailey has some health issues so I have lots of experience with dogs who may have specialized diets or need medications. My daughter has an Australian shepherd, so I also have experience with dogs who may need some more structure when you are away. On top of dog care, I have experience with most other pets (cats, fish, gerbils, bunnies, guinea pigs, birds and even geckos) so if you have any other pets who need some care while you are away, I am able to. I am an assistant teacher, so during the school year, I follow the schools calendar but during the summer I am completely free. During the school year, I am able to care for your dog before and after the school day and always have weekends and federal holidays off if you are going away for a long weekend. During the summer, I’m very flexible with my time, and can easily help walk and care for pets, when you are busy at work or doing other things. I love animals and will make sure they get the best care possible! I will make sure they’re happy and well taken care of at all times. I will also always provide updates during a service or stay and communicate with you to ensure your pet is doing the best they possibly can.
