I provide dependable dog walking, drop-in visits, companionship, feeding, potty breaks, and attentive one-on-one care tailored to each pet’s personality and needs. As an avid runner and active outdoors person, I especially enjoy long walks and jogging with energetic dogs if they’re up for it. Animals have always been an important part of my life, and friends and family have trusted me for years to help care for their pets. I’m comfortable with dogs of different breeds, sizes, and energy levels, and I’m also very mindful of safety, weather conditions, and each dog’s personality. I currently have a flexible schedule, including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays, which allows me to spend quality time with pets in my care. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos so you have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience having Irene and her husband watch Cooper for a full week! From the moment we dropped him off, it was clear he was in wonderful hands. Irene was attentive, communicative, and genuinely caring — treating Cooper like one of her own. What really stood out was a small but incredibly thoughtful gesture: she noticed Cooper’s leash was worn out and bought him a brand new one, without us even asking. That kind of initiative and attention to detail says everything about the level of care she provides. We came home after a week away to a happy, well-loved pup and couldn’t recommend Irene more highly.
Irene goes above and beyond. She is careful and aware of anxiety or reactivity in dogs, making a perfect walker or sitter.
We couldn't be happier with Irene! Our dog looked genuinely happy and relaxed the entire time. We loved getting regular photos and videos throughout the stay; it gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was having a great time. Irene was fantastic with our 11 year old lab, Toby. She walked and played with him and treated him as if he were her own. Irene provided photo and video updates and really put our mind at ease seeing him in action. We would not hesitate to use Irene again.

Irene Lionetta treated our boy Marco so well it was like he was her own dog. She paid so much attention to him and we were delighted to see her interact with him. He spent three weeks with her and he was in better shape after our trip than when we dropped him off It gives us such confidence when Irene takes care of him that it allows us to relax and know that he is well.

Schedule
Pet care fits naturally into my routine as a runner who enjoys being outdoors. While my schedule may vary with my full-time role, I keep my availability updated and prioritize providing consistent, reliable care and communication for each dog.

Safety, trust & environment
I focus on keeping pets safe, comfortable, and on their normal routine. In your home, I follow your instructions closely for walks, feeding, and care so things feel familiar and stress-free. I’m attentive to safety, use proper leash handling, and adjust each walk to your dog’s energy level—whether that’s a relaxed walk or something more active. I’ll also send updates and photos so you always know how your dog is doing.
A typical day
A typical day with me includes plenty of attention, exercise, companionship, and care based on your dog’s personality and energy level. We may go for walks, play outside, enjoy fetch or playtime, relax together indoors, and stick closely to your dog’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. For more active dogs, I’m happy to include longer walks or light jogging if they enjoy it. I’ll also make sure your dog gets fresh water, feeding, potty breaks, affection, and lots of positive interaction throughout the day.
