Kathilin is our go-to sitter every time we go away. We have a highly anxious dog who has aggression with other dogs, so she cannot be boarded. We have trusted Kathilin to take care of our dog in our home several times, and every time, she provides excellent care. She spends time with our dog, takes her for walks and feeds her. And she gives consistent updates. We never have to worry about our dog when she is in Kathilin’s care! We will happily to continue to trust Kathilin with the care of our dog.

We dropped Lenny off on September 4th around 6:30pm. By 8pm we hadn't heard anything, so we messaged asking how things were going and if he'd settled in. She replied that he came in fine, sent a photo, said all was well, and that she'd update us the next day. We understand this is a part-time gig for her, but proactive updates were a requirement we had discussed beforehand. She assured us she would keep us updated. To be clear, we are not claiming our dog was caged all day. The next morning we didn't hear anything proactively either, so around 9am we messaged again asking how Lenny was doing. She replied that he was "so cute" but that he was frozen, wouldn't let her touch him or put his leash on, and wouldn't come outside — he was staying in a cage. This was surprising to us since her profile describes a kennel-free environment where pets are "almost never alone." Lenny isolating himself is a sign of stress. Given this, we asked to pick him up early, around 11am. She told us she couldn't, as she had left to pick up a family member, and offered a pickup time of 4:30pm instead, saying she wanted to see how Lenny did on his own for a few hours since we'd originally booked another 8-day stay for November. We agreed to 4:30, and she said she'd call us to talk. We never brought up a refund, and we never told her she was a bad sitter — sometimes two people and their pets just don't mesh, and we understood that. All we wanted was to pick up our dog. Instead, she became extremely defensive and confrontational, and it was in that conversation that she told us Lenny had bitten her husband that morning. We had not been told about this earlier in the day. Had this been mentioned to me, I would have picked up my dog immediately. When we picked Lenny up, he drank an unusual amount of water right away and was covered in dirt and dried leaves. Lenny is a rescue with a history of abuse- something we disclosed during meet and greet . He isn't aggressive and has no front teeth, but he can react out of fear when he feels unsafe. To be clear: I am not claiming she is being intentionally cruel, but is negligent. Doesn't know how to read dog cues. Overall, this experience has been very disappointing

This is the second time we’ve used Kat to watch our dog. She is great - very communicative and always makes sure our husky has a good time!

Kathilin took great care of our dog. Lenny is a rescue and needs special care. Kathilin and her boys understood these needs and took care Lenny really well. I can’t thank her enough.

Kathilin has become our go-to sitter. She’s now watched Finn three times. Finn is excited when he sees her and her boys. They have a great yard to play in and he always comes home tired and ready for a nap after lots of fun.

We feel so lucky we found Kathilin! ❤️ She was incredibly kind, warm, and accommodating from the very beginning. She sent us lots of pictures and updates, and it was so comforting seeing how happy and loved Coco was with her family. She even went out of her way to take care of Coco’s food when our delivery didn’t arrive. I truly felt like Coco was having her own little vacation while we were away. 🥰 We would absolutely trust Kathilin with our girl again!
