About: We are a dog-loving family with over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs. We understand that every dog is different, so we follow their usual routine and provide care based on their individual needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply relaxing at home, our goal is to make every dog feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while they’re with us. I work remotely from home, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive daytime care, regular walks and potty breaks, and consistent supervision to ensure your dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. I have a half fenced yard where dogs can safely run, play, and enjoy outdoor time under supervision. It’s a great space for exercise and potty breaks throughout the day.

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbor’s cats since I was young, I’ve dog sat for friends, family, and friends of the family. I’ve taken care of 4 rambunctious dogs at once so I can handle the commotion. I am back in school so I can take care of pets whenever I’m not in class. Though I will need time to study and do homework outside of class I still will have plenty of time to take care of your pets. I am willing to do whatever is needed to ensure your pet gets the proper care. If I’m not given more specific instructions I will walk them once a day, feed them, let them out when needed, and give them plenty of attention.

About: I’ve been pet-sitting for over 20 years! Neighbors, colleagues, family, and friends have relied on me to look after their pets during long and short intervals. Every pet parent knows what it’s like to need an extra hand with their pets, whether it’s an extra check-in or potty break for senior dogs and cats, to some couch time spent with them during a long trip. I like to make sure people come home to a happy pet and that they feel reassured of their pets’ safety and comfort while they’re away! I’m not working during the summer, which means I’m free anytime to spend quality time with your pets. I’m an early riser! Always happy to get a walk in before the sun heats everything up. From September to June I work in an elementary school, which leaves me with a lot of flexible time to walk dogs, cuddle cats, bring in the mail, water the plants, and anything else you need! I will take care of your pets and your home as if they were my own. That means safety is always my top priority for your creatures and your house. I will respect the rules of your house, and do my best to alleviate any concerns you have about being away- frequent check-ins, photo updates, etc. My goal is to provide maximum peace of mind for my clients.

About: I’m currently a college student pursuing a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and have a lot of experience caring for animals since I have four cats of my own. Taking care of them has taught me responsibility, patience, and how to understand different pet needs. These experiences make me confident that I can provide excellent care and attention to your pets while you’re away. I'm currently working part-time, which gives me a lot of flexibility. My experience also includes caregiving and working as a pharmacy technician, which means I'm very adaptable and can rearrange my schedule as needed to ensure your pet gets the best possible care. I can be flexible for specific needs. My caregiving experience has exposed me to numerous pets whose owners I cared for, and I assisted in their daily care. . My pharmacy technician background means I'm also comfortable administering medication if necessary. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. About: My name is Betina, and I live in North Andover, MA—a community I truly love and proudly advocate for. Although I grew up in South Florida, my passion for animals has followed me everywhere. I even used Rover back then, and I still believe it’s a wonderful way to connect caring pet parents with trustworthy caregivers. My love for animals began in childhood. I used to knock on neighbors’ doors asking if they needed their dogs walked or washed. Growing up, I shared my home with cats, reptiles, rodents, and fish—and I still have fish today. I truly adore them. I attended a zookeeping camp where I helped care for and train elephants, and I spent my summers at Circle F Dude Ranch, where I proudly served as the rodeo drill team captain. Animals have always been my calling. One of my favorite childhood memories is inviting all the neighborhood cats over for my cat’s birthday party. As an adult, I’ve built extensive professional experience in animal care. I’ve worked in pet stores, volunteered at animal shelters, and been part of doggy daycare teams. I proudly graduated from Merryfield School of Pet Grooming and continue to expand my knowledge through online education and attending AKC dog shows. I worked at Petco for 10 years, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of animals and pet needs. I also took full responsibility for my mother’s dog, Jackson, who was diabetic, blind, deaf, and struggled with high anxiety. I administered insulin injections twice daily and managed his long-term trazodone medication with care and dedication. One of my own dogs, Bandit, suffered from chronic ear infections, which required daily treatment. I’ve also lovingly nursed newborn puppies until they were healthy and ready for adoption—and yes, I still have the pictures. They were absolutely adorable. I am CPR certified and hold animal safety certifications. Caring for animals isn’t just what I do—it’s who I am, and it’s been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. This is my business . I have open, flexible availability because caring for pets is my full-time career. As a business owner, my focus is entirely on your pets’ needs. This is not a hobby or a temporary job—it’s what I do professionally. With experience, education, and genuine passion, I aim to be every pet’s favorite person when you’re away. I’m passionate about pet sitting and grooming in home to make the pets comfortable and happy. In home pet sitting and grooming also eliminates the hassle of transporting pets , no more wasting gas, no more car sick pets, no more struggling in and out of the car. No more leaving your pet in a strange place and In a kennel all day. Another advantage of in home pet sitting and grooming is you know your pet will be in a clean safe environment. No dog fights or over crowded environments. Best of all your pet will feel secure in their own home. That’s why I come to you and become part of your pets family. Your pets and I will have lots of time to bond. I take the necessary time to get to know your pet and their routine. I give them my whole undivided individual attention with my whole heart. So your pet gets the care and love your pet deserves.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
