Jessica was kind and compassionate with my anxious dogs, especially on a day like July 4 when it’s loud and scary for them. She did an excellent job taking care of them and making sure they were safe. She was also great about communication and confirming all details with me as well as sending a detailed report at the end so I knew exactly what was done to care for my dogs. I will absolutely be using her services again to care for my dogs. Thank you so much for taking such great care of them

About: Please read my availability before booking :) Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover who grew up with both dogs and cats, and nothing makes me happier than spending time with them. I’ve been the go-to pet sitter for my coworkers for years, and I truly enjoy caring for animals like they’re my own. Whether it’s playtime, snuggles, walks, or just keeping your pets company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. You can trust that I’ll provide the best care possible and treat your furry family members with the same attention and affection I’d give my own. I can’t wait to meet your pets! I currently work in a medical office Tuesday-Friday 7:30am-5pm. Though I am able to house sit these days, I am unable to let them out during the day while I am at work. Saturday-Monday I am free to give all my attention to your pets! I am very energetic, just like your pups. I love to walk with or without a dog. If I am pet sitting, I am very good at sticking to directions so I can care for your animals exactly how you want them to be cared for while throwing in a couple extra play times!

Sean was terrific! It was the first time I trusted anyone with the boys and I couldn’t be happier! Sean went above and beyond what was asked and expected. Both Jax and Rocky came back from their adventure with such huge smiles on their faces, and I could tell they’re looking forward to the next adventure with him. I highly recommend Sean if you want to be at ease with whom you leave your pets with and open your home to. You won’t regret it. Thank you Sean!!

About: I’ve had my dog for 6 years since she was a puppy. She is house trained and is trained to be out without a leash. She is great with children and other dogs. I’m currently a college student so I have 1-2 classes a day with breaks in between. My classes are only 1-2.5 hours and don’t consume too much of my time. I have a huge fenced in your with more than enough space for a big dog to run around and play and release any stored up energy they might have. I also live in a nice quiet neighborhood that is perfect to go on walks.

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs of all ages, as well as worked on obedience training with puppies. I am familiar with different dog tools and temperaments aswell as different cat needs. I take care of my own dog daily, from dog walks to training- we are always about taking care of our pet's needs first. Your dog needs walks but hates other dogs? We can walk on the other side of the road and keep away from other furry friends! You want your dog to work on basic obedience on the walk? Sure thing! I want your dog to feel as safe as he/she would with you. Whether your dog eats in the crate or needs medication in their bowl, I can follow your pet's needs based on their lifestyle is. I take my own dog's health very seriously and consider them family, and I would treat your pet the same.

About: I have grown up with cats and dogs for my entire life, and I have frequently been asked by neighbors and family friends to care for their furry friends while they are away. I have been consistently petsitting for a family for the past 2-3 years, taking care of their two french bulldogs. I am comfortable with puppies and older dogs, have a car so I can take your furry friends to any dog park/trail that they may be accustomed to, and have flexible availability as I am a college student currently on summer break. I have some light experience training my own puppy with simple commands, and have experience in dealing with pets that have general anxiety/nervousness, as my own dog has been on medication for anxiety before. I'm currently a college student working part-time during the summer with a very flexible schedule! My availability is typically Wednesday-Sunday, however sometimes Fridays are tricky for me. I can drop in any time of the day from 8am to 8pm, and I am flexible on days/times if needed! On Mondays and Tuesdays I am also available for quick midday check ins, quick walks and some play time! Drop-ins consist of potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of snuggles in order to keep your pet happy and healthy while you are away. 30 Minute dog walks consist of a stroll around the neighborhood or at a local trail or park where your dog will get their exercise, mental stimulation, and fresh air for the day.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for several years and have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. My background includes working in a Level 1 emergency veterinary hospital, where I gained valuable experience recognizing signs of illness, handling pets safely, and staying calm in high-pressure situations. Currently I have an 2bd apartment in Andover, it's very clean and spacious. My apartment has a large grass field area great for walks & also a large fenced in dog park! We frequently visit my grandmothers house in Lowell, she has a large chain link fenced in yard. I have a well behaved almost 4 year old son that LOVES all types of dogs and cats. He has been around various breeds and temperaments. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. My flexible schedule allows me to provide pets with plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, so incorporating walks and quality time with pets is something I genuinely look forward to. I believe in treating every pet as if they were my own, with plenty of attention, playtime, affection, and patience. I also understand how important communication is, so I provide regular updates and photos to give owners peace of mind. My goal is to keep pets happy, relaxed, and as close to their normal routine as possible while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Jaylese was great, always communicating with me when headed over to do a walk, and she used all the features of the app to inform me about the dog’s activities and the walking route taken. Jaylese has a very nice personality, strives to be on time every visit, and she (along with her husband) bonded with my two dogs quickly- it’s clear that they both love animals. I haven’t used a person whom I didn’t know to walk my dogs before, but after meeting Jaylese I handed my keys over to her, and now trust her implicitly to respect my apartment and care for my dogs. PI have no hesitation about recommending her to anyone- and Jaylese will be the first person I reach out to when I need her services again!! ??

  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
