Catherine has been great with our 2 black labs the last couple of months. They get excited every time she comes to the door, because they know they're going for a nice walk. We are scheduled for 3 walks a week but with the holidays, snow days, and work from home days the schedule has fluctuated drastically. Catherine has been very accommodating. I highly recommend her services.

Olivia walked Zuko for me for nearly 2 weeks, and did an amazing job! Zuko is a reactive dog who is not the easiest to walk, but she has the mindfulness to navigate those situations as well as being receptive to anything I shared about him. Would recommend :)

About: I grew up in a home with many dogs & cats. At one point we had 3 dogs, 2 cats, 7 Guinea pigs, 3 rabbits & a 150 gallon fish tank full of koi fish. As an adult I have also had a house full of pets. Presently, we have 2 dogs, 1 cat & 1 Axolotl. My pets tend to live long healthy lives, my last 2 cats passed at the ages of 22 & 19 years of age. I am a retired nurse who would enjoy filling my time with fur-friends. I am presently retired & free most days of the week. I love animals and have 2 dogs of my own. I love caring for & playing with animals. I walk my 2 dogs daily on their tandem leash. However I also have a large fenced in yard that they meander about at their Leisure. I will care for your animals as if they were my own & provide them with the care they need.

About: Two decades means I’ve seen it all—and handled it with patience, expertise, and genuine love. I know the difference between a playful nip and anxiety, between a minor upset stomach and something that needs attention. I take time to learn your pet’s quirks, routines, and preferences. Does your dog need that specific toy before naptime? Does your cat only drink from a running faucet? I’ve got it covered. You’ll receive regular photo updates and detailed notes about meals, walks, playtime, and bathroom breaks. You’re never left wondering how your furry family member is doing. I can schedule around being available for animals who need reliable, attentive care. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or overnight stays, I prioritize each pet’s routine and comfort. In your home, I maintain your pet’s established routine to minimize stress—feeding schedules, favorite nap spots, and playtime rituals stay consistent. I provide fresh water, engaging activities, and plenty of affection. For walks, I match your dog’s energy level and preferences. I keep your home secure and tidy, and send regular photo updates so you can see your pet thriving. Whether it’s administering medication, accommodating special diets, or simply offering companionship, I treat every pet with the individualized attention they deserve while respecting your home.

He stepped right up and put my mind at ease. He made sure she was comfortable and even helped get her to eat her food! (Had some anxiety after moving) 10/10 recommend!

We have used Katelyn several times to help with drop in visits for our dog, Kika. She navigated our apartment complex without any problems and always sent very detailed reviews with multiple pictures of our little cherub. Kika can be nervous around new people and she handled that situation with patience and kindness which we appreciate. She’s extremely reliable and trustworthy and we are already hoping to book again with her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
