“This was my first time on Rover and my yellow lab Gus had a great time with Rebeca and her family! She provided photo updates and was very friendly. They live on a nice neighborhood and have a great home for dogs to feel at home and play!! Thank you again. We will definitely be booking again with Rebeca”

“Leaving our nearly three-year-old dog, Charlie, with a sitter for the first time made us a bit anxious, but that all changed once we met Monica during the meet and greet. Her genuine love for dogs was obvious right away, and our concerns melted away. Monica took care of Charlie for the entire day, sending us regular updates and photos. It was a huge relief to know he was in such good hands, allowing us to enjoy our day worry-free. Thank you, Monica!”

“Amina has been amazing for our dog’s daycare needs! Our pup always comes home happy and tired, and it’s clear she’s well cared for. We really appreciate the updates and personal attention—highly recommend!”

“Dolev was very sweet with my anxious puppy. She asked a lot of good questions at the meet and greet- being thorough so both of our expectations could be met. The updates during his stay set my mind at ease.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the combination of genuine love for animals and hands-on experience caring for pets at every stage of life. I’m patient and attentive with puppies, helping reinforce positive habits and keeping their busy minds engaged. I also have experience with senior dogs and understand the importance of gentle exercise, medication reminders, and a slower pace when needed. I pride myself on treating each pet like they’re part of my own family—whether that means extra snuggles, long walks, or simply being a calming presence. I’m reliable, communicative, and make sure you always feel confident that your pet is happy, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’m currently on medical leave from my electrician job due to a wrist injury, which means I’m home full-time and available to provide attentive, around-the-clock care for your pet. I love getting outside for walks, staying active, and giving pets the attention they deserve. I’m flexible, communicative, and always happy to work around your pet’s routine. When caring for pets, I always follow their routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. In your home, I’ll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, clean litter or potty breaks, exercise, and plenty of love and attention. I take the time to learn your pet’s personality—whether that means playtime, snuggles, or giving them space if they’re more independent. If I’m welcoming your pet into my home, they’ll be treated like part of the family. I provide a safe, clean, and cozy environment with lots of one-on-one attention. I’m big on communication and will send updates and pictures so you know your furry friend is happy and cared for.
About: My wife stays at home and I work from home couple of times a week. We are family of dog lovers, where my wife have volunteered with many animal rescue NGOs I have had dogs all my life. We never leave the dog, they get all the love and attention and there is always one of us with them all the time. We make sure they are well loved, exercise well and stick to their schedule. We live to follow the schedule provided by the family, we have a park near by to let them run, play fetch and plenty of time to walk. I prefer meet and greet with the dog to ensure they know me and my family well and give them space they need. My daughters are very gentle with pets too and we follow what instructions you provide.
“Kathilin and her family were great with my pups !! She sent lots of pictures throughout the day and my pups were super tired by the time they got home. Thankful that we found her :)”

“Cheryl has a great setup and is a dog lover and incredible resource! We had a meet and greet prior to the day I dropped off my 4 month old puppy and I felt at ease leaving her there (her first daycare experience which could’ve been nerve wracking but I knew she’d be in great hands). My pup was tired from playing and learning from the other dogs there and slept so well after! I will be using Cheryl’s services again in the future!”

About: I have been caring for animals my whole life. I'm always the one everyone calls to sit, or when their pet is sick. We recently got a service dog for my daughter that I helped train. I was offered a job there, but it's too far to drive. I am incredibly patient and love animals more than people sometimes!😄 Haven't had an unhappy doggo yet! I stay home currently, and I am always with my Angel, training or walking or playing. He's my first dog. I've never known love like this! We go for walks multiple times a day. I have a fair amount of energy and some dog training experience. I already love your baby!
“Jessica was very kind and considerate of Rocky ‘s needs. I absolutely felt so content knowing Rocky was in Jessica‘s care and will feel much at ease when she is watching Rocky for future dates. When Rocky was picked up, he looked like he was relaxed and had a fun time. I would highly recommend Jessica.”

About: My wife, Rose, and I are lifelong dog lovers who have always had pups in our families. We have experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages—from playful puppies to sweet senior dogs. We currently have a 4-year-old Cavapoo named Ruby who brings us so much joy and gets along great with other dogs. We frequently care for friends’ dogs and treat them like our own while they’re away. Rose and I both work from home full-time, so we’re able to give your dog plenty of attention, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. We’re rarely away from the house for more than an hour or two at a time, making us a reliable and consistent presence for your pup. We live in a quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood perfect for long walks and sniff breaks. Our backyard is fully fenced-in and secure, with plenty of space for play. We also have a gated pool area—great if your dog loves to swim or completely off-limits if not. Ruby, our friendly Cavapoo, is always excited to make new dog friends, and we’ll make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved in our home.
About: I have owned dogs my whole life, and currently have two small (under 20lb) resident dogs. I have experience medicating a range of health issues via injection, pill, or eye/ear drops. Dogs are allowed on furniture and I have a fenced in yard with dog door! I work from home with a dog door that pets have access to throughout the day. I accompany them out every few hours and would not leave them unattended for more than 2 hours while caring for your pet! I spend much of my free time relaxing with my current dogs, and your pets would join us during couch or play time. They would be fed according to your schedule and requirements, and regular photos provided.

About: Hi! I'm a housewife who enjoys cooking at home and taking my dog out for walks. I'm offering dog boarding services for small to medium-sized dogs, and I mainly speak Mandarin, so it would be best if the dog owner can communicate in Chinese. At home, I have a 6-year-old Shiba Inu. He is friendly but also enjoys his own space, so it’s ideal if your dog is comfortable being around another dog, even if they don’t interact much. During the stay, I will take your dog out for walks twice a day. If you have any specific care instructions or preferences, feel free to let me know. I'm happy to follow your routine to make your puppy feel at home. I’ve had a Toy Poodle before and now live with my Shiba Inu, so I’m pretty used to handling small and medium-sized dogs. You can totally relax knowing your pup will be well taken care of! Hi! I'm a housewife who enjoys cooking at home and taking my dog out for walks. About: I grew up around dogs my whole life so I’m used to being around them. I also have had one other dog before and now have a mini dachshund. I’m very comfortable with taking care of dogs and having them in my space. I work a full time job at home, but I’m in control of my own schedule and am very flexible. I’m also available weekends and in the summer, I’m even more flexible. I take my dog out 2-3x a day depending on weather. We go on walk across the street at the park for about 15-20 min and when we are back inside, he is allowed to roam freely. He eats 2x a day with snacks in between and he always has water out. I play with him as much as I can throughout the day to make sure he doesn’t get too bored with his day too! My apartment is always clean to ensure that my pup doesn’t get into anything he isn’t supposed to. Lastly, my apartment building is secure as you need a key fob or someone to buzz you in to enter the building.

“You cannot ask for better care for your dog than the care and attention that Elizabeth and Neil provide. I was so happy to see many photos and videos of Trixie playing, enjoying the backyard, and being very well taken care of. Thank you, Elizabeth and Neil— we appreciate it so much!”

“Richard and his family warmly embraced my dog into their household. Despite giving my pup to several individuals on Rover before, none showed the same level of care and affection as Richard and his family did. He is also very flexible and is constantly updating about my dog's stay at his place. I definitely recommend Richard and intend to make him my primary choice moving forward.”

“Rebekka and Thomas have watched my cat twice and dog once. My first experience with her was when my boyfriend and I went on a two week road trip with our dog (Mia), but we didn't want the hassle of bringing a litter box from place to place. It was our first time leaving my cat (Alfie) with someone other than family. Alfie had a blast at their place. Rebekka kept us up to date on his activities with pictures every other day. He spent time with them in the yard and they even took him for walks! Alfie isn't the nicest (he tends to scratch and bite sometimes) but Rebekka rolled with all of his strange behaviors. My second experience with her was just as wonderful. Both Alfie and Mia spent the day with her for "doggy" day care. My boyfriend and I decided to take a day trip to Mackinac City to see some friends who came in from out of state and it was a little late notice (about 2 days notice). Rebekka and Thomas were very accommodating to our early drop off time (6:30 am) and late pick up time (10:30 pm). Mia has severe anxiety around new people so we were worried about how she would react, which is why we brought Alfie as well. They were very kind with the prices, one animal for their regular price and the other animal for only 5 dollars. Mia did considerably better with them than I anticipated. We brought her crate so she would have a safe space and Thomas told me she spent most of the time on their bed with Alfie. She would only go in her crate if he came too close. Considering the last time she spent a doggy day care with someone else on Rover and she didn't come out of her crate once, I would say this is a great improvement and that she feels comfortable around Rebekka and Thomas. I would recommend anyone and everyone to have their fur-babies watched by Rebekka and Thomas.”

Ballardvale dog parents share their Rover experiences
Lupa was in great hands, taken care by Charlotte and Jordan. He got to play with Kyber and enjoyed the huge fenced backyard! Both Charlotte and Jordan are responsive, caring and I felt like Lupa had so much fun with them. We are repeat clients now. Definitely recommend!
Brie is a wonderful, responsible, knowledgeable, and kind sitter! She asked a lot of questions and did a meet and greet with us before watching our dog, Chiko, for the first time, so we could really comfortable before his first time staying with her. Brie provided lots of updates throughout the day, and was very understanding of Chiko’s needs and boundaries (he doesn’t get along with other dogs). Brie was communicative, professional, and we will 100% continue using her as a sitter for Chiko!
