Home away from home for Doodles!
We believe in caring for dogs’ emotional needs as much as their physical ones. That means lots of attention, playtime, and a calm, structured environment. We host one guest dog at a time (or a bonded pair) to ensure each pup receives personalized care and feels at home. With work-from-home adults and a large fenced backyard, your dog will have plenty of human interaction, room to roam, and time to relax indoors with our friendly labradoodle, Penny. We also enjoy taking 1–2 walks a day (sometimes more!) and welcome visiting dogs to join if they'd like — though we understand some prefer to stay home and chill. We've raised two doodle puppies ourselves and are happy to care for your puppy too!

Amanda and her family were amazing with our dog, Bailey. Great communication and tons of photos and videos. For our first Rover experience, she set the bar sky-high.
My Idgy was so excited to spend the day with Amanda and her family. She hopped right out of the truck and ran right into the house when Amanda greeted us at the door. Idgy got lots of playtime with Amanda and her pup. She is an asset to have on Rover.
Nova had a pleasant stay with Amanda and family. She was willing to share updates and pictures as we were anxious to leave our baby for the first time for night boarding. Grateful for having found Amanda through Rover.

Zuko had a lovely time with Amanda and her family! Amanda provided frequent updates and pictures while we were traveling for a few days. Zuko enjoyed many walks and play time with Penny! Amanda and her family provided a very nurturing environment for Zuko which allowed us to travel without worry. We will be booking again very soon! Thank you, Amanda!
Amanda and her family were great with Sunni. Communication was excellent. Lots of updates, pics and videos. Sunni had an amazing time playing with her dog and kids.

Schedule
We work from home and rarely have commitments that take us out for more than a few hours. Penny keeps us on a healthy routine, and we truly enjoy how dogs get us outside and moving — it’s good for everyone!

Safety, trust & environment
We have a fully fenced backyard with plenty of squirrels, chipmunks, and bunnies to keep things interesting! Visiting dogs can play outside with our labradoodle, Penny, or lounge comfortably indoors. They’re welcome on the couch or can relax on a dog bed nearby while we work. We keep things low-key and structured, with lots of attention and calm energy throughout the day. We also take time to reassure visiting dogs that their parent(s) will be back soon — and that this is a fun place to explore in the meantime! We give each pup a tour of the house when they arrive, showing them where they can go and helping them settle in. It’s part of how we help them feel safe and at home right from the start.

A typical day
Most dogs love to play chase or fetch in our large fenced yard — and if they don’t, we’re happy to match their energy and needs. We also take dogs on 1–2 walks daily (sometimes more!) and tailor activities based on what your dog enjoys. Whether it’s play, cuddles, or quiet companionship, your pup will feel right at home.
