When I came across Donnie on Rover, and after reading his profile and reviews, I felt he was the one for Nala. We did a meet and greet and within seconds of meeting us he corrected me on what I was doing wrong. I respected that, because to me that showed me he straight up and real. Also, he was the very first K9 professional that didn’t sell me dreams and he made no promises. He gives off a bright welcoming glow and is always sporting a huge smile. Since Nala has been attending his daycare she has become a completely different dog. A dog that i had always hope for her. She definitely has a ways to go, but my goodness has she come far. Last night, for the very first time in her entire life, as I came up to her she rolled on her back and gave me her belly. I know that is something very small, but for us it’s huge!!!! About: We believe in caring for dogs’ emotional needs as much as their physical ones. That means lots of attention, playtime, and a calm, structured environment. We host one guest dog at a time (or a bonded pair) to ensure each pup receives personalized care and feels at home. With work-from-home adults and a large fenced backyard, your dog will have plenty of human interaction, room to roam, and time to relax indoors with our friendly labradoodle, Penny. We also enjoy taking 1–2 walks a day (sometimes more!) and welcome visiting dogs to join if they'd like — though we understand some prefer to stay home and chill. We've raised two doodle puppies ourselves and are happy to care for your puppy too! We work from home and rarely have commitments that take us out for more than a few hours. Penny keeps us on a healthy routine, and we truly enjoy how dogs get us outside and moving — it’s good for everyone! We have a fully fenced backyard with plenty of squirrels, chipmunks, and bunnies to keep things interesting! Visiting dogs can play outside with our labradoodle, Penny, or lounge comfortably indoors. They’re welcome on the couch or can relax on a dog bed nearby while we work. We keep things low-key and structured, with lots of attention and calm energy throughout the day. We also take time to reassure visiting dogs that their parent(s) will be back soon — and that this is a fun place to explore in the meantime! We give each pup a tour of the house when they arrive, showing them where they can go and helping them settle in. It’s part of how we help them feel safe and at home right from the start.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life, and currently have two small (under 20lb) resident dogs. I have experience medicating a range of health issues via injection, pill, or eye/ear drops. I'm also a foster with Last Hope K9 and have a wealth of resources available to me, and therefore can be provided to you. Dogs are allowed on furniture and I have a fenced in yard with dog door! I work from home with a dog door that pets have access to throughout the day. I accompany them out every few hours and would not leave them unattended for more than 2 hours while caring for your pet! I spend much of my free time relaxing with my current dogs, and your pets would join us during couch or play time. They would be fed according to your schedule and requirements, and regular photos provided.

About: I’m a licensed veterinarian in Brazil and I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life. My father is a huge dog lover, so I grew up helping care for our family pets from a very young age. In Brazil, I had four dogs who are now happily living with my parents. Here in the U.S., I have my sweet mini Goldendoodle, Madalena, who is very friendly and loves having company. Because of my background in Veterinary Medicine and my lifelong experience with dogs of all sizes and personalities, I feel very confident providing safe, responsible, and attentive care. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I work at a coffee shop from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. After 3:30 p.m., I’m fully available for pet care, including walks, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting. On Sundays and Mondays, I’m off from work and available all day for boarding, daycare, and other services. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. I offer a calm, clean, and cozy home environment where pets can relax, play, and feel secure. My mini Goldendoodle, Madalena, is very friendly and gentle, which helps visiting dogs feel more comfortable and welcomed. Whether your pet stays in my home or I care for them in yours, I always follow their routine exactly as instructed—feeding, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and rest. I’m very attentive to body language and behavior to make sure each dog feels safe, respected, and stress-free. I provide constant supervision when I’m home, lots of love and positive interaction, and a peaceful space where dogs can settle in comfortably. My goal is to make every pet feel like part of the family.
