“Katelyn is a pet sitter I'd definitely hire again! I liked that she gave a complimentary meet and greet visit as well as sent pictures during her time pet sitting. I also liked that she sent a description of what she did during the visit. Thank you, Katelyn, for caring for Shackleton while I was away!”

“Alison was so easy to work with and extremely trustworthy. You can tell she's a pro and knows exactly what the pups needed. Will definitely have Alison back to watch our 2 dogs again!”

“Holly did a terrific job! She dealt with an unexpected situation (my fault, gave her the wrong key) with ease. She inspires confidence, took the time to take care of everything we requested.”

“Walter was so courteous and showed up on time every day and I could tell me animals were taken care of. He even offered more support for the animals for an extended period when my travel was impacted by the snow. He came 2x a day for my dogs and played with them and even stayed extra time s few times, and was able to give them medications and feed them, along with my cats as well. He was also very communicative, and followed instructions. I can tell my animals are happy. I will be using Walter again!”

“Kate took excellent care of our two cats! She asked plenty of questions to make sure she knew what to expect and made sure they still ate their meals, and got some attention even when they were nervous about a new person. Would absolutely hire her again in the future!”
“Cat was fantastic with our shy Greyson! I am amazed that she was able to get him comfortable enough to come out from hiding! Also her communication while we were away was great!”

“Magnoly is literally the best! She was extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable with our dog Apollo and we’ll absolutely be booking with her again! She communicates everything every step of the way and was sooo flexible when I booked the wrong dates for visits and when we asked her to drop in again on short notice! She couldn’t have been a better person for Apollo’s first night by himself and our first Rover experience, we absolutely love her!!”

About: I’ve cared for rabbits both in shelters and in my own home. I also have experience caring for a large, anxious dogs as well as a calm, elderly dog. I’m currently seeking a full-time position in veterinary care, and pet sitting fits my schedule well while allowing me to continue gaining hands-on animal experience. I have fenced areas, and anything that isn’t fenced is kept in x-pens. I’m experienced with handling both large, energetic animals and small, calm ones.
About: Having grown up in a multi-pet household myself, I know first-hand the level of care and dedication that owning pets entails. I began petsitting when I was 12 years old, and have greatly enjoyed doing such in the years since. Friends, family, and neighbors have entrusted me on many occasions to take care of their pets. Aside from petsitting, I worked at a doggy daycare for nearly two years, where I built genuine and deeply meaningful bonds with all of the dogs in my care. I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes, temperaments, personalities, and energy levels. I have experience with training young puppies, including my own. I am very knowledgeable in reading animal body language and understanding animal behavior. I understand that every dog or cat is unique in their own way and that building trusting and meaningful relationships with animals take time and patience. With this, I try to meet every cat or dog where they are at and adjust my approach where necessary. For example, with shy or timid pets, I like to give them the space they need and work slowly to build trust and confidence to where they are fully comfortable in my presence. I am committed to making every visit a positive and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. I’m currently working part-time at the moment, so I’ll have plenty of time to play and care with your pet(s). The routine for each visit will depend on your pets’ needs, personality, temperament, and energy level. I will send pictures and updates of how your pet is doing by text throughout the day. I’ll make sure your pets have an positive and enjoyable experience, get plenty of play time/exercise, enrichment, and attention. Your pets’ safety is of utmost importance, and I’ll do everything in my power to make sure the environment is safe at all times. This could include but not limited to making sure to close or lock doors behind me, gating off rooms that are off-limit, crating your pet at night or when I leave, keeping things your pet may get to out of reach or locked away, following medication or feeding schedules, taking dogs’ out more frequently or at given times throughout day, being respectful of any allergies you, your household, or pet(s) may have. This will depend on you and your pets’ needs. As always, I’ll send updates and pictures throughout the day.
“We had a wonderful experience with Stefanni. She was caring, and attentive to Fancy and Sterling and we truly appreciated the daily updates and photos, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. It was clear our pet was well cared for and comfortable at home. We’ll happily book her again!”

“Carina did a great job with our Sully! She did everything we asked for, kept us in the loop with photos, and it seemed like Sully had a great time. Will book again in the future!”

“Bill and I always feel better after Jill checks on Murphy! Jill is timely, reliable and sends photos of our girls, which always makes our day. Murphy can't wait to see Jill again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
