“Magnoly is literally the best! She was extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable with our dog Apollo and we’ll absolutely be booking with her again! She communicates everything every step of the way and was sooo flexible when I booked the wrong dates for visits and when we asked her to drop in again on short notice! She couldn’t have been a better person for Apollo’s first night by himself and our first Rover experience, we absolutely love her!!”

“Ann Marie was an amazing sitter for our two kitties! My first time using a sitter but she made the process seamless and gave us peace of mind. She even took time to take photos and give them treats. Couldn’t have asked for more and will definitely rebook next time we leave for vacation.”

“Jeanne was great and very responsive. I had full confidence my cats were being well cared for while I was away. I would definitely recommend Jeanne and hope to reschedule her services for future dates.”

“Bill and I always feel better after Jill checks on Murphy! Jill is timely, reliable and sends photos of our girls, which always makes our day. Murphy can't wait to see Jill again!”

“Amy was very thorough with her details about the visit. Followed my directions on what I am working on with the puppy. And she was very professional when I met her during our meet and greet.”

“I can’t recommend Maddy enough! She took amazing care of my cat, Jinx, while I was away. Maddy was incredibly thoughtful, responsible, and clearly loves animals. She kept me updated with photos and little notes about how Jinx was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind. When I got home, Jinx was happy and relaxed. It’s such a relief knowing I can trust someone who genuinely cares. If you’re looking for someone to treat your pets like family, Maddy’s the one!”

“Walter was so courteous and showed up on time every day and I could tell me animals were taken care of. He even offered more support for the animals for an extended period when my travel was impacted by the snow. He came 2x a day for my dogs and played with them and even stayed extra time s few times, and was able to give them medications and feed them, along with my cats as well. He was also very communicative, and followed instructions. I can tell my animals are happy. I will be using Walter again!”

About: I have a wide range of knowledge in animal care. I provide senior animal care, medication administration (have experience with liquid syringe fed, food mix ins), I am patient and willing to learn and help out with any necessary training, exercising, and/or special medical care. I have two parakeets myself, and spend a lot of time at my parents house with my family dogs. I also have experience caring for rabbits, hamsters, and cats as well although I am willing to learn to care for basically any type of animal. I am a hairstylist, and often have the ability to shorten my days to accommodate bathroom breaks, feeding, and other important care times. The only main activity outside of work is going to the gym, but I can easily make a cardio day by going for walks/hikes with your fur baby’s! I am dedicated to following routines that you have set up for your pets such as crating, training skills, and special requests to keep your pets at ease and safe.
About: I’ve cared for Shiba Inus for several years—first helping raise and care for my girlfriend’s senior Shiba Inu for over 3 years, and now raising my own Shiba Inu from puppyhood. This has given me hands-on experience with both ends of the spectrum—from understanding the needs of an older dog, like slower-paced walks and gentler handling, to the patience and energy required to train and manage a puppy. I’m confident working with dogs that have strong personalities and require consistency, especially breeds like Shibas that are known for their independence. I’ve handled both a senior dog and a puppy, so I understand how to adjust care based on age and temperament. I’m detail-oriented, patient, and always focused on keeping pets safe and comfortable. I know how important structure and consistency are for a pet’s well-being, and I bring that same level of care to any dog I work with—whether it’s managing medication for a senior or reinforcing leash training with a younger pup. I work full time during the week, so I’m primarily available on weekends and holidays. I make the most of that time by planning dedicated pet care activities—whether that’s long walks or playtime. Because I have a dog of my own, pet care is already built into my routine, and I’m used to giving animals the time, attention, and structure they need to feel safe and happy. Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. In my own home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment with plenty of supervision and regular routines. I make sure dogs feel comfortable and secure by providing familiar surroundings, structured play, and clear boundaries. If I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with respect and follow all instructions closely to keep your pet’s routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I’m also experienced in reading dog behavior, which helps me anticipate needs and avoid stressful situations.
About: I have always had a passion for animals, which I have actively pursued through animal care work and volunteering. These experiences have taught me the importance of having a safe, clean, loving, and happy environment for all animals! I currently have open availability, I am available on demanding hours such as; weekends, weekdays, holidays, and long hours. I have no problem with transportation, and can show up when needed! I have a fenced in yard with two of my own dogs at home. I also have animal daycare experience and can easily prioritize the safety and well being of all animals!
About: I have 5 years of experience caring for dogs of different breeds, sizes, and personalities. I understand that every pet has unique needs and I take the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and loved. I’m experienced with feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic medications, and following specific care instructions. I treat every pet as if they were my own and pride myself on being reliable, patient, and attentive. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind while providing their pets with the best care possible. I work full-time during the week, but I’m available for pet care in the evenings, on weekends, and on select weekdays with advance notice. I understand the importance of consistency and communication, and I’ll always ensure your pet receives the attention, exercise, and care they need while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all feeding, medication, and care instructions and make sure pets feel secure and loved in my care. I’m dependable, attentive, and respectful of both your home and your pet’s routine. I provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: I’ve been a dog walker and pet sitter for over 5 years, and during that time I’ve also worked at a pet boarding and daycare, where I gained experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. I passionately believe every pet deserves to be treated with love, patience, and respect. I’m certified in first aid for dogs and cats. I absolutely love animals, and nothing makes me happier than seeing a happy pet! I’d love to become your fur baby’s new best friend, or at least their third best friend! I’m available for walks and check-ins on weekday afternoons for dogs and cats. I love having time with some furry friends to elevate my day! Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities! I know how hard it can be to leave your furry friend with someone new, so I’ll do my best to make every visit feel comfortable, fun, and stress-free. I’m happy to follow your pet’s normal routine, whether that means going for a walk, having some playtime, getting a meal, or simply giving them some extra attention and cuddles. I’ll always follow your instructions and make sure your pet is safe and supervised during our time together. I’ll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would want for my own. My goal is for you to feel completely comfortable knowing your pet is in good hands while you’re away!

About: Hello & welcome to my profile! I have been blessed by growing up around animals my entire life! My older brother has had dogs as small as a Poodle/Chihuahua mix (Ari) and as large as a Newfoundland (Armand - which I was able to help leash train)! My brother has relied on me multiple times to take care of them, and I do so lovingly! In Ari’s later years, he trusted me to give him his medication, special diet food, and assist him walk around. Additionally, I grew up around cats for as long as I can remember and currently have two of my very own. Not only cats & dogs, but bunnies, gerbils, and guinea pigs are all animals I have taken care of under my own roof! I know that each pet has their own personality and therefore needs specialized care. I know how much I think about my own when I am away from them, and I would be honored to lovingly take care of them so you don’t have to stress it! I currently work full time M-F, but am consistently done with work by 3:00/4:00 pm. This gives me plenty of time to stop by and care for your animals during the week part time, or full time on the weekends! Within my own home, I make sure to be proactive with making sure my cats have fresh water and food in their bowls at consistent times. I do not currently own any pet supplies for a dog and I live in a one bedroom apartment with limited space. I am happy to house smaller animals when need be and take care of all other pets within their own furever home!
“Susan was wonderful, sending lots of photos and leaving detailed report cards. She is extremely nice and my girls took to her right away. I would recommend her and will use her again in the future.”

“Dayanara did an excellent job taking care of Cora. She followed directions and sent me pictures as well. She delivers such a great service. The Meet and Greet was very professional and she even brought some treats and toys. I was very impressed. Daya cleaned up a bit as well and I came home to a well organized living room. Cora and I are very thankful. I’m definitely going to rebook with her. Thanks Daya!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Methuen
Ericka was great: she won Percy over and maintained daily schedule and tasks and kept us regularly informed, going above and beyond when we forgot to replace the battery in the time-release feeder! First time with Rover and Ericka and it was such a relief to entrust our kitty to such good care, now that he's on twice a day thyroid pills. Thank you!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
