“Greyson LOVED Jessica! She is attentive to detail and goes and above and beyond. I appreciated the communication and clear passion for animals. I will definitely be hiring Jessica again - Grey says thanks for the cuddles!”

About: I have been helping care for pets since I was a young child. I grew up with pets and pet responsibilities. The love that I have for my pets crosses over to the love that I will bring for your pet. Pet sitting is currently my primary focus. This allows me to have greater flexibility in my schedule and more time to take care of your pets. Great care and concern for your pet is emphasized as well as open communication with you while your pet is in my care. Your concerns are my concerns when it comes to the safety and care of your pets.
“Adriana was lovely! She updated us on how the kitties were doing, she was very professional by scheduling to meet us beforehand, and left us a sweet little card and gift. I would 10000% recommend her!”

“Cassidy did an awesome job of taking care of our Gordie. We really enjoyed seeing pics of him every day while we were away. We will highly recommend her to our friends in the area. This is the first time using Rover and we are so happy we found someone like Cassidy that you can tell truly cares about animals.”

“Yarymar is incredible!!! She is so easy to communicate and plan with and is wonderful with our animals!!! It makes traveling easier knowing she is there with our furry loves!”

“Amanda is an excellent sitter! She keeps us updated with all our pets activities, and even helps out with our fish and lizard. She is great with sending photo updates and has been a wonderful help each time we go on vacation! Highly recommend :)”

“Magnoly is literally the best! She was extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable with our dog Apollo and we’ll absolutely be booking with her again! She communicates everything every step of the way and was sooo flexible when I booked the wrong dates for visits and when we asked her to drop in again on short notice! She couldn’t have been a better person for Apollo’s first night by himself and our first Rover experience, we absolutely love her!!”

“Stephanie was so wonderful with our dog, Murphy. We appreciated her promptness, consistency, and we especially loved getting daily reports and pictures of our dog while we were away on vacation!”

“Julian took fantastic care of our cat, Clementine, while we were away. We were a little anxious about leaving our cat overnight for the first time, but Julian met up with me ahead of time to meet Clementine, go over care instructions, and address any concerns I had. The daily updates and photos were detailed and thoughtful and truly put my mind at ease. Julian even did an extra drop-in on very short notice due to our flight back being delayed - truly above and beyond service! I would highly recommend Julian and would absolutely book again in the future.”

“Ryan was punctual and had very good communication through his time taking care of our dog and guinea pig! He sent photos and messaged us for clarification which was great. Thanks, Ryan!”

“Mikayla was a champ today. She got both of my dogs to go outside where one of them is nervous around new people. She followed instructions well and did a great job. Very good communicator and folk lots of pics. Thanks so much!!!”

“Brittany was great with my dog ! My senior lady isn’t the best with strangers but seemed to get along with Brittany. We got lots of pictures and we know our girl was well taken care of.”

About: I am an avid animal lover. Recently lost my 15 year old pup. I have a 6 year old son who wants to be a vet someday and he will care for your pup too. I have 2 cats in the house as well. I often care for my mother's 2 dogs as well. I work full time but am home on weekends and nights. I love to scratch behind the ears and good belly rubs as well. I hope your dog loves attention. Megan was absolutely amazing while caring for our cat, Lexi! She was so kind, patient, and attentive, and it gave us such peace of mind knowing Lexi was in such good hands. Megan went above and beyond—she not only made sure Lexi was well-fed and cared for, but she also spent time playing with her and giving her lots of love. She even sent us fun and adorable pictures, which made us feel connected to Lexi while we were away. I would highly recommend Megan to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter. She truly treated Lexi as if she were her own, and we are so grateful for her wonderful care. Marlena T.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Windham. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
