“We are so lucky we found Jamie she is amazing and I’m so grateful my dog Blanca gets so excited to see her it makes me so happy she definitely is the greatest Thank you so much Jamie for all the help”

“Jessica is an amazing dog walker! She’s reliable, caring, and always does a wonderful job with my dog. I have complete peace of mind knowing he’s in such great hands. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for their pet!”

“Highly recommend! We use Josh for dog walks and couldn’t be happier. Our dogs LOVE Josh and so do we. He is extremely dependable, an amazing communicator, and treats our girls like their one of his own. One of our girls can be very reactive towards other dogs while on walks and Josh took the time to help with this. He was even able to include one of his dogs on a walk with our reactive pup after some training. The walk went great and we can see such a difference in our girls behavior for the better! We truly couldn’t ask for better care for our girls. 10/10!”

“Lea was wonderful. Our 2 labs are 5 and 6 yo and this was the very first time we used someone outside of our inner circle. Lea made ua feel comfortable and confident in their care. We reached out last minute On a Monday for a Thurs/Fri booking and she was able to fit us in. I wouldn’t hesitate to use her again or recommend her to anyone looking for help with their dogs.”

“Hannah signed on to walk our dog, Kook, on really short notice and was great! Kook immediately took to her and she was incredibly flexible with timing. Would recommend to any dog owner. Thanks Hannah!”

“Sam has been walking my German shepherd a couple days a week. Communication has been excellent. She always shows up on time as scheduled. My dog has been enjoying their outings and I feel at ease knowing she has experience with this breed and her e-collar we use to reinforce training when needed. Thanks Sam!!”

“I highly recommend Annie! She has been so patient and caring with Peter, taking the time to let him get comfortable and build trust at his own pace. It means so much to know he’s in such kind and capable hands. Thank you for taking such great care of him!”

About: I have been helping care for pets since I was a young child. I grew up with pets and pet responsibilities. The love that I have for my pets crosses over to the love that I will bring for your pet. Pet sitting is currently my primary focus. This allows me to have greater flexibility in my schedule and more time to take care of your pets. Great care and concern for your pet is emphasized as well as open communication with you while your pet is in my care. Your concerns are my concerns when it comes to the safety and care of your pets.
“Jennifer is a friendly fun loving dog walker. My dog Luke looks forward to his walks with her. I am very pleased we chose Jennifer to spend a couple times a week with our new fur ball.”

“Debra was great with Sabby. I was home with a knee injury, so I got to witness their interactions first hand when Debra arrived to take Sabby on walks. I loved receiving the Rover cards mapping their adventures, and I know Sabby is always delighted to see Debra. Thanks, Debra, for doing such a good job.”

“Carly was able to accommodate a last minute walk for our dog. She sent a report and it showed how long and where they walked, this gave me peace of mind knowing he was walked adequately. I have used rover in the past and other walkers have not used this feature. We would be happy to have Carly walk our dog again in the future.”

About: My family has fostered many dogs from puppies to elderly, along with owning two of our own. Almost all of my highschool volunteer hours came from helping at dog kennels and daycares. From a young age my parents have taught me to have good patience and care for animals. I am currently a student home from school til March. I attend a maritime school for engineering. Other than two courses I am taking online at nearby school, I have a completely open schedule from the next two months. Depending on age I offer 1-2 walks through out the day. Along with interactive meal times! I do own 1 dog at home who is elderly but very very kind and social. I have a very large yard which allows all the zombies. However my pup is trained and therefore we have no fencing. I live in close proximity to dog park for free range fun as well. As for dogs that require daily grooming, I proved daily brushings as well.
About: I’ve lived with dogs my whole life, I know how important your baby is, my goal is to give your dog safe and happy visits! I am currently on summer break for college so I have a mostly open schedule! I work some days at Aroma Joes and all my other time I am free. I always greet dogs slowly by letting them sniff my hand and get used to my scent, I have walked dogs since a kid and know how to handle dogs that pull.
“Our puppy loves Sarah! Sarah is very reliable, and takes our puppy on long walks and plays in backyard. She helped us out a lot while we were on vacation, knowing our puppy was in great hands.”

About: Hey there! I’m Cris, and I offer dog sitting in a cozy, family filled home. I have kids who absolutely love dogs, so your pup will get lots of attention, playtime, and cuddles while you’re away. We treat every dog like part of the family, whether they’re playful and energetic or more on the chill side. We make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. We also have a shaded dog run in the backyard for outdoor time and play, and to help for a good night’s sleep. It’s important that your dog is comfortable staying in a crate for a couple of hours while I pick up or drop off my kids at school or like a grocery trip. We’d love to welcome your furry friend into our home! 🐾 Pet care is a natural part of our daily routine. With kids at home and a love for dogs, there’s always someone around for walks, playtime, and cuddles throughout the day. In our home, we have a dedicated indoor space just for the dogs, so they feel comfortable and secure. We also have a dog run outside to give them a safe place to play and get fresh air.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
